I go to Egypt once every two months in inexpensive triplets. Unpretentious for rest. I read reviews about blue reef and knew where I was going.
But for everything to be so bad? Yes it's true.
There are even dilapidated rooms where no one lives.
The mattress stinks in the room, took it out to dry on the first day.
Food - portioned, brought on a tray and no additives.
Wi-fi - not available, you need to go to a cafe for $6 an hour, or buy a £.5 access card at Starbucks.
The room is dirty, never cleaned or changed the gray linen.
Towels and soap had to be beaten out - they were not there.
I never swam in the pool - the impression of dirt.
The beach is marhaba beach, you can get it on your own, by taxi or minibus, the beach is very personal.
Near the hotel there is some kind of pumping station, around the clock noise.
The staff is friendly but does nothing.
I won't go here again, even if it's free.
