Review:
A room at the BLUE REEF hotel feels like a prison cell.
Twilight (one 40W light bulb in a closed metal lamp - I bought a second one myself to keep my sanity).
The walls and ceiling are dirty and in some kind of terrible spots - as if some unfortunate bloodied animals were caught and beaten against the walls here.

Beds are single beds only. Wardrobes and bedside tables - designs "I put together 3 boards" All furniture is painted with streaks with a brush in a gloomy dark dirty green color.
Curtains hanging from oilcloth all stained and holes.
They demanded a bribe at the reception - in view of this, the air conditioner worked for the first days - for the only residents, but then it was turned off anyway (it was turned off - I checked - they took away the only joy - that was the last straw).
The TV is small - 35 cm - one channel works with interference.
(!!! ) There is a constant (day-night) loud noise from the street - similar to the sound of a circular saw - outside the territory of the BLUE REEF hotel there are some rooms in which some kind of satanic equipment is working around the clock.
Room cleaning - forget about this concept.
Refrigerator, safe, hair dryer - forget it too.
*
The bathroom is like a toilet. Everything is covered in dirt, debris, rust and drips. The tile is chipped and crooked with a touch of some kind of slime. Plumbing is old, uncleaned semi-working. Sparkling wires hanging next to the sink. Wooden window into a concrete well. Toilet paper and soap are not in sight, towels are issued once and do not change. At the same time, the towels look like they have not been washed for 4 months. There is no hot water 80% of the time. Cold - rusty with a smell
*
Bed linen at the Blue Reef Hotel (BLUE REEF) does not change, it turns out that even standing next to it is scary - dirty, full of holes, smelly (we immediately bought a new one in the store). Towels, as already mentioned, are more like a doormat and also do not change (also had to be bought).
*

The Street Part of the Room - there is something that apparently should be called a balcony - although this area inexplicably opens into the passage of the building (stairs and corridor), and not to the facade. Glass doors lead to the balcony, which prudently cannot be locked - in fact, the room is constantly open (I had to buy screws and screw the doors to the wall). There is a broken dirty chair and a bucket on the balcony. The approach to the room is constantly blocked by a wooden staircase. From the roof to the floor in front of the door - periodically, threatening to kill, pieces of bricks and plaster fall off and fall with noise.

Dining at the Blue Reef Hotel (BLUE REEF) is the only thing that at least somehow corresponded to the level of at least 2 *. There is no buffet - what they give is what you eat. More or less well prepared. Variety - dishes are changed every 2 days. Fruit - half a guava (a type of pear). The dining room, although it does not shine, but at least does not inspire disgust - repairs and cleanliness are maintained at a minimum acceptable level. The weakest point is the table setting.

The territory of the hotel Blue Reef (BLUE REEF) is a nightmare worthy of a separate site.
Apparently the hotel once went bankrupt, they completely stopped investing money in it, no repairs, etc. work is not carried out, the hotel is being destroyed - the owner mercilessly exploits what remains. Probably this was the reason that the hotel recently changed the status of 2 * to 3 * (!!! )
Of course, there is no greenery (grass), in the center of the territory, in some places, the surface is covered with some kind of green synthetic material - of such a state and type - that it would be better if it were just earth.
Buildings are destroyed - pieces of concrete fall on the paths, which is unsafe. On the pavement there is a non-disappearing coating of crumbling finishing debris and fragments of structures - like next to a building being demolished.
Approximately 30% of the rooms came to a state of complete ruin - doors and windows and all furniture were broken out of such rooms (apparently to complete the remaining rooms) - rooms without doors gape with emptiness and rubbish, instilling horror in those passing by.
Half of the remaining rooms are occupied by those who apparently live there permanently - incomprehensible Arabs. Bunk beds, drying linen, the smell of cooking food and half-dressed squealing Arabs unforgettably complete the picture of the Blue Reef hotel (BLUE REEF).
THERE IS A POOL(!!! ) but the water in it is in such a state that only the aforementioned Arabs have the courage to enter it.

Bar, gym, sports grounds - I don't even mention such luxury.

BEACH .
Hotel Blue Reef (BLUE REEF) is located on the 3rd line - a 15-minute walk from the sea. However, if you think that while staying at the BLUE REEF hotel it will be enough for you to walk 15 minutes to the sea - this is not so.
You will not be allowed to the nearby beaches (or they will ask for 50 dollars) - ALL beaches belong to other hotels, there are no mythical “wild” beaches (verified).
The beach, which residents of the BLUE REEF hotel can get to, is located at the other end of the city - 20 minutes by shuttle bus and after 20 minutes on foot. At the same time, the beach is also used by other hotels, small, cramped, there are no free sunbeds.
The beach is located in such a place - where the water is muddy, there are no fish and corals, there is a port nearby. This is the farthest and last beach in the city. Even sunbeds there like (I don’t remember exactly) are paid.
The hotel does not provide transport - you will have to get on your own, far and for a fee.
The easiest way out is to use the paid municipal (common) beach for $ 5 / day (20min walk from the hotel). Although the beach is peculiar - narrow (7-10m) and sometimes homeless Arabs lie on shabby sunbeds (apparently by acquaintance with the security guard)
It is also worth mentioning the previously unknown feeling of humiliation at the resort - the Arabs on any beach (paid / non-paid without a difference) instantly understand that since you came here, you live in the garbage, they very willingly demonstrate this understanding. They generally do not like "infidels" and never for that they will not miss a rare chance to show you that you are second-rate, to laugh at you and show their contempt - even the slightest reason.
So - if you, God forbid, having arrived at the sea, want to swim - it will suddenly be a REALLY REAL PROBLEM.

STAFF

There is nothing special to write here. The staff of the Blue Reef Hotel (BLUE REEF) are Arabs who, apparently, could not find a job in a decent hotel or work for living. They are absolutely deaf to any requests - they will say “tomorrow” and definitely will never do it.
Moderately arrogant and boorish - although it is necessary to make a footnote that the author is a master of sports in weightlifting, the appearance of which discourages the desire to be rude. How the staff communicates with other visitors - I do not know.
We didn't see the cleaners of the rooms.
For the slightest reason, they extort money. Giving money is especially disgusting and morally difficult, because. the reason for the bribe is always free in other places (however, there is nothing to do).
*The drivers of the incoming / outgoing transport / transfer at the words "BLUE REEF hotel" openly laugh. The guide at the meeting - tries not to show his appearance - but it is clear that he is very ashamed of what the visitors have encountered (turns away, hides his eyes, etc. ).

LOCATION
Convenient - the Blue Reef Hotel (BLUE REEF) is located on the northeastern outskirts of Sharm El Sheikh - 5 minutes by bus from the main street (Naama Bay). To the coastline - about 1.5 km.
Because the hotel is far from the center - noisy crowds of people and sellers are not observed nearby.
However, as I wrote here - the location does not allow you to use the sea.
