Renata review of the hotel Rehana Royal Beach & Sparenata . visiting time, 07 . 2011 hotel review My husband and I went to rest in Sharm for 10 days, in this hotel. Even in Moscow, they decided that it was necessary to get out on an excursion. They chose Petra and Mount Moses. I read reviews for a long time, asked friends about whether it was worth going through a local agency. Since the tour operator's prices were very high, the choice fell on Abu Sherif from Egypt-SiteSeeing, which organizes excursions from Sharm, Taba and Hurghada. When we were driving from the airport to the hotel, the driver of the Tez tour did not drive very carefully, even made us doubt whether it was worth going on an excursion at all, but we decided to take a chance anyway. Upon arrival at the hotel, they tried to bargain with the hotel guide, but to no avail, he offered a free tour to Ras Muhamed as a bonus, but we were not interested in it. Sent to Abu Sherif by SMS (+20129092342 - +20173318004) our passport details, hotel name, room number and tour name. Abu Sherif later told the time of departure and what to take with you. Exactly at the appointed time, a big bus came for us. The guide called the room number and our names. We gave him money for the tour. At first, I was horrified to expect that now the driver would drive 200 in the opposite direction, but I didn’t wait. All the way to the ferry, I admired the quality of Egyptian roads and resented how tour operators bred. We drove to the ferry for a long time, until we gathered everyone at the hotels, it probably took about 5 hours. They brought us to the mini port, put us on the ferry, and after 40 minutes we were standing on a cozy, well-groomed shore of Jordan. In Jordan, we were met by guides, divided into groups by nationality, took away our passports))) and after 30-40 minutes they returned us with stamps and we went by bus. Our guide told very interesting things about Jordan. We really wanted to move there to live))) We were driving through the desert and arrived at a super expensive souvenir shop. There was a toilet, you could buy water, food, tea, but in terms of our money it turned out to be a little expensive. Jar of water rub. 100 probably, cigarettes 150, souvenirs are also very expensive. But since I read reviews on the Internet, I knew that absolutely all guides bring to expensive stores and have a percentage of sales for this. We did not buy anything, we decided that we would do it in Petra. We spent a long time in the store, probably min. 40-50. Then there was another stop in a beautiful place on the mountain overlooking the gorge. Everyone quickly took a picture and left. After 2-3 hours (after landing at the port) we arrived in Petra. The guide bought and gave us tickets. The guide started the tour, but while he was talking, we took pictures, so we listened to most of it, which I regret a little now. We walked along the gorge, quite quickly, there was no time for normal photography at all. It turns out that time was allotted for photographing after the tour, on the way back. And so we went to the square in front of the Treasury. It’s very beautiful, it doesn’t even fit in my head how people 2000 years ago were able to carve such a thing in a rock. Then I saw souvenirs and stopped while I was bargaining with a young seller and taking change, we lost sight of our group and then I started to really panic. The group could climb the mountain, or they could go further along the plain, listened well to their husband and we went along the plain. On the way, we asked foreigners about "Russo tourist", but they answered with a Hollywood smile on their faces that they had not seen. We ran and I cursed myself for missing the tour because of the fucking souvenirs. And lo and behold, we were called by a man from our group, who was sitting next to us on the bus. The man said that the tour ends and after 40-50 minutes we meet on the bus. A mountain has been lifted from my shoulders. We ran further, hurry to the bus, there was no more desire to buy souvenirs))) Yes, and take a picture too))) The only thing we bought was a postcard and a stamp right next to the tent by the bus. They wrote their home address on it and left it to the seller, he promised to throw it in the mailbox. The postcard arrived a month later))) By the way, I advise you to take a picture of the bus number, then it will be easier to search, otherwise there are a lot of them in the parking lot and they are all the same. Everyone packed up and off we went. There was no more strength, I really didn’t want to eat. The cost of the tour also included a long-awaited lunch. Initially, I thought that they would bring us to some dumb eatery where it would be scary to eat. We arrived at the Marriott hotel, it was very pleasing. The hotel is small but very beautiful, there was a free buffet, and drinks had to be paid separately, they were of course a little expensive. We drank our water after meals, on the bus, as many did. On the way back, we again stopped at an expensive souvenir shop, we didn’t stay there for long. I bought my mom a face cream (dead sea cosmetics) for 15 Jordanian money, which is about 15 euros. As a gift, they gave me shower gel and soap. On the way back, the guide was already silent, although at the beginning of the tour he promised to tell a lot more. The people were mostly asleep. We arrived at the port, our passports were again taken from us, an exit stamp was put in, and we sailed on the ferry. We sailed, stood in line at the border, got on the bus and fell asleep. We woke up at 2 am at the entrances to the hotel. They crawled up to the room. It turned out that we spent exactly one day on the tour. After Petra, the husband said that he would not go to the mountain of Moses, because it’s hard to ride on the bus for a long time, and then you’ll crawl up the mountain itself (((Advices: Take more small money (dollars). Take pillows with you, plenty of water, warm clothes (if you eat in winter or in the off-season, and it can be cold on the bus from air conditioning), you can leave unnecessary trash on the bus during the tour. Listen carefully to the guide and keep up with the group. It is better to buy souvenirs in Petra itself, where the Treasury is located, they are much cheaper there than on the way to Petra and than at the entrance to the tour. Take dry breakfast with you from the hotel. If possible, pick up some food that you like during breakfast. They put us a dry breakfast, but it was not very good, some kind of dry bun with half-rotten, not tasty sausage, a tomato and an apple. With our meals at the hotel, they could put something better and more. Thank you very much to Abu Sherimf and Egypt-SightSeaing for the tour, we are glad that we turned to them and saved money. Everything was perfectly organized - the bus was good, the driver was excellent, the ferry was wonderful, lunch at the Marriott hotel was super, the guide was normal. The tour is worth the money. Next time we plan to visit Taba, through Abu Sherif we will go on a two-day excursion to Israel. For those who need it, you can find it at www. egypt-sightseeing. com or email him: egypt-sightseeing@mail. Common crawl enDespite the wild fatigue, we are very glad that we got to Petra, saw one of the new wonders of the world. I also liked Jordan with mountain-desert landscapes and a cozy little port.
