Even in Moscow, they decided that it was necessary to get out on an excursion. They chose Petra and Mount Moses. I read reviews for a long time, asked friends about whether it was worth going through a local agency. Since the tour operator's prices were very high, the choice fell on Abu Sherif from Egypt-SiteSeeing, which organizes excursions from Sharm, Taba and Hurghada. When we were driving from the airport to the hotel, the driver of the Tez tour did not drive very carefully, even made us doubt whether it was worth going on an excursion at all, but we decided to take a chance anyway. Upon arrival at the hotel, they tried to bargain with the hotel guide, but to no avail, he offered a free tour to Ras Muhamed as a bonus, but we were not interested in it. Sent to Abu Sherif by SMS (+20129092342 - +20173318004) our passport details, hotel name, room number and tour name. Abu Sherif later told the time of departure and what to take with you. Exactly at the appointed time, a big bus came for us. The guide called the room number and our names. We gave him money for the tour. At first, I was horrified to expect that now the driver would drive 200 in the opposite direction, but I didn’t wait. All the way to the ferry, I admired the quality of Egyptian roads and resented how tour operators bred. We drove to the ferry for a long time, until we gathered everyone at the hotels, it probably took about 5 hours. They brought us to the mini port, put us on the ferry, and after 40 minutes we were standing on a cozy, well-groomed shore of Jordan. In Jordan, we were met by guides, divided into groups by nationality, took away our passports))) and after 30-40 minutes they returned us with stamps and we went by bus. Our guide told very interesting things about Jordan. We really wanted to move there to live))) We were driving through the desert and arrived at a super expensive souvenir shop. There was a toilet, you could buy water, food, tea, but in terms of our money it turned out to be a little expensive. Jar of water rub. 100 probably, cigarettes 150, souvenirs are also very expensive. But since I read reviews on the Internet, I knew that absolutely all guides bring to expensive stores and have a percentage of sales for this. We did not buy anything, we decided that we would do it in Petra. We spent a long time in the store, probably min. 40-50. Then there was another stop in a beautiful place on the mountain overlooking the gorge. Everyone quickly took a picture and left. After 2-3 hours (after landing at the port) we arrived in Petra. The guide bought and gave us tickets. The guide started the tour, but while he was talking, we took pictures, so we listened to most of it, which I regret a little now. We walked along the gorge, quite quickly, there was no time for normal photography at all. It turns out that time was allotted for photographing after the tour, on the way back. And so we went to the square in front of the Treasury. It’s very beautiful, it doesn’t even fit in my head how people 2000 years ago were able to carve such a thing in a rock. Then I saw souvenirs and stopped while I was bargaining with a young seller and taking change, we lost sight of our group and then I started to really panic. The group could climb the mountain, or they could go further along the plain, listened well to their husband and we went along the plain. On the way, we asked foreigners about "Russo tourist", but they answered with a Hollywood smile on their faces that they had not seen. We ran and I cursed myself for missing the tour because of the fucking souvenirs. And lo and behold, we were called by a man from our group, who was sitting next to us on the bus. The man said that the tour ends and after 40-50 minutes we meet on the bus. A mountain has been lifted from my shoulders. We ran further, hurry to the bus, there was no more desire to buy souvenirs))) Yes, and take a picture too))) The only thing we bought was a postcard and a stamp right next to the tent by the bus. They wrote their home address on it and left it to the seller, he promised to throw it in the mailbox. The postcard arrived a month later))) By the way, I advise you to take a picture of the bus number, then it will be easier to search, otherwise there are a lot of them in the parking lot and they are all the same. Everyone packed up and off we went. There was no more strength, I really didn’t want to eat. The cost of the tour also included a long-awaited lunch. Initially, I thought that they would bring us to some dumb eatery where it would be scary to eat. We arrived at the Marriott hotel, it was very pleasing. The hotel is small but very beautiful, there was a free buffet, and drinks had to be paid separately, they were of course a little expensive. We drank our water after meals, on the bus, as many did. On the way back, we again stopped at an expensive souvenir shop, we didn’t stay there for long. I bought my mom a face cream (dead sea cosmetics) for 15 Jordanian money, which is about 15 euros. As a gift, they gave me shower gel and soap. On the way back, the guide was already silent, although at the beginning of the tour he promised to tell a lot more. The people were mostly asleep. We arrived at the port, our passports were again taken from us, an exit stamp was put in, and we sailed on the ferry. We sailed, stood in line at the border, got on the bus and fell asleep. We woke up at 2 am at the entrances to the hotel. They crawled up to the room. It turned out that we spent exactly one day on the tour. After Petra, the husband said that he would not go to the mountain of Moses, because it’s hard to ride on the bus for a long time, and then you’ll crawl up the mountain itself (((Advices: Take more small money (dollars). Take pillows with you, plenty of water, warm clothes (if you eat in winter or in the off-season, and it can be cold on the bus from air conditioning), you can leave unnecessary trash on the bus during the tour. Listen carefully to the guide and keep up with the group. It is better to buy souvenirs in Petra itself, where the Treasury is located, they are much cheaper there than on the way to Petra and than at the entrance to the tour. Take dry breakfast with you from the hotel. If possible, pick up some food that you like during breakfast. They put us a dry breakfast, but it was not very good, some kind of dry bun with half-rotten, not tasty sausage, a tomato and an apple. With our meals at the hotel, they could put something better and more. Thank you very much to Abu Sherimf and Egypt-SightSeaing for the tour, we are glad that we turned to them and saved money. Everything was perfectly organized - the bus was good, the driver was excellent, the ferry was wonderful, lunch at the Marriott hotel was super, the guide was normal. The tour is worth the money. Next time we plan to visit Taba, through Abu Sherif we will go on a two-day excursion to Israel. For those who need it, you can find it at www. egypt-sightseeing. com or email him: egypt-sightseeing@mail. Common crawl enDespite the wild fatigue, we are very glad that we got to Petra, saw one of the new wonders of the world. I also liked Jordan with mountain-desert landscapes and a cozy little port.

In the end, we loved it too! In general, we went to Egypt because of a trip to Cairo and Israel, I wanted to see the holy places, to touch the centuries-old history.
So about the hotel. They gave a good room, with a view of the sea and the pool - which was pleasing to the eye. Equipped with everything you need, including a set for making tea and coffee, sugar and cream were included. Good bathroom, regular cleaning, towels changed.
Nutrition. There was a lot of food throughout the day! Particularly hungry could have a bite to eat even at night. In addition to the main meals, there were early and late breakfasts, snacks throughout the day, including refueling, it was possible right on the beach. They cook tasty, no frills, but high quality. For dinner, they always gave several types of meat, various side dishes, desserts, there were not many fruits, but there were always 3-4 types, although we rarely reached them - there was no room left in the stomach! On the beach you can overeat with ice cream, which we did almost every day when we were at the hotel. With the weather in December, we can say that we were lucky, almost all days it was sunny, but it was also windy. We swam in the heated pool - the water in it is clean, it does not smell of chemicals. In Turkey, our son had a severe allergy, as the doctor said - this is a reaction to the water in the pool, thank God here, nothing like this was observed! There are water slides - great fun for kids and adults!
Not far from the hotel there are a number of shops where you can buy souvenirs and necessary trifles.
The staff is friendly and helpful - they try very hard to please the guests of the hotel.
The animation is also very good.
We rested cheerfully and coolly, there was nothing to complain about. I didn’t even want to go on excursions, we gathered after a week of rest. As planned, we visited Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, the pyramids and the Sphinx - everything went well.
I recommend the hotel with great pleasure, compare, though I can only with Turkish club hotels, and so the Royal Modern does not lose at all!

We are me, husband and daughter of 3 years old. The hotel has a large territory, a lot of lawn, 4 swimming pools, one of which is heated (but which we were looking for 3 days! ). In general, swimming pools are a hotel theme, during this period of time the sea is quite cool, and with a child you want to soak in warm water, where to do it. as not in the pool, but. . . the hotel has a wonderful children's pool with children's slides, but the water in it is icy!! ! Without exaggeration, my daughter went "licking her lips" all the way, but she did not manage to swim. Tell me, why do we need a children's pool with such fancy things, but with ice water? ? By the way, the adult pool is also with ice water. Who likes to dive into the ice hole in winter, will do. There is one heated pool in the "relax" area, but it's hard to find and quite small. An interesting water park was built on the territory of the hotel - this is a "plus". We arrived at 6 in the morning, but settled only by 14.00 ((( We were very tired from the road, I wanted to take a nap, but it’s good that we could already use all the services of our hotel. The room was good, in general, the rooms are very comfortable, they gave additional. bunk bed, my daughter loved it! The rooms are cleaned excellently. Before I forget, I'll write. that every morning and at about 17.00 they smoke some kind of smoke (they walk along the hotel with a rattling pipe) from flies, at this time we close the windows to the balcony. There are mosquitoes. Planes fly often, but somehow we did not notice them. Food: the variety pulls on "4", because for children there is not so much choice, not enough seafood. The service is good, no one is rude (except the first day when some Arab told me that my daughter had crumbled food on the floor!!!, ). children are treated kindly. Several restaurants where . In principle, the food is similar, but still there are differences. I especially liked the Italian restaurant. it is cozier there and there is some seafood (squid was given 6 times in 10 days of rest). A special word about their pastries is bliss! Animation: it, in fact, does not exist, that is, it definitely does not exist for children, I compare it with Turkey, where they worked with children from morning until late in the evening. and here we went into the club, a girl who was alone in this room looked at us, asked if we spoke English. , on this the whole entertainment ended)) Adult animation consists of aqua aerobics 2 times in ten days (perhaps the rest did not notice); French balls, ping-pong, football. In the evening, dances that look like a school "skit". Generally on "3". The hotel is suitable for families, young people will be bored here. But it is quiet and calm)))) The playground is old. Babut is torn, the house fell apart by the end of our vacation. But my daughter, of course, was still fine, that's why they are children. Sea: we liked it. Just right for a child. shallow, clean, sand, no stranded corals, and who needs to see the beauty of the sea, please. Pantone 500 m. Beautiful fish swim there. there are sea urchins, we saw a stingray. moray eel. however, the abyss goes a little further, where the bottom is not visible at all (about sharks later). By the way. went on excursions to dive from a boat. I liked the fish better at our hotel, here they are more). Next to the hotel tdet construction of another hotel. which, of course, is not very pleasing, although on the third day of rest you no longer notice this. But there were also some buildings (which were later fenced off) on the main arena of the hotel in the center. They are building a tent.

I rested in this truly heavenly place with my wife. The hotel corresponds to its high level and offers guests a variety of services and entertainment. I especially remember how fresh towels are laid out in the rooms. You come, for example, after a walk to the room and see that a towel is laid out on the bed in the shape of animals, fruits or flowers, it looks like a work of art, it’s a pity to even take such a towel. … More ▾ I rested in this truly heavenly place with my wife. As for the beach and sand, that's all right. The beach is very clean and this is monitored by special beach workers. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included in the price, so don't worry about that either.
The restaurant and nightclub are just amazing. You can spend a romantic evening in the restaurant, and in the nightclub you can have a blast.
For our vacation, I want to express my great admiration and respect for the manager Elena, who works at the "Ideal World" company. This person guessed all our desires and picked up a wonderful tour, for which many thanks!

I will answer reviews about food: it is generally the same and specific in Egypt. you will not see our borscht and savory pork chop. and there are about a dozen dishes on the Swedish stand. Do you want to be served brand new dishes every day throughout your holiday?
The territory of the hotel is large, you can walk along the nooks and crannies. and cozy. if you go through the reception, then there will be a second line of the same hotel. it can also be used. there you will find several more pools.
we walked around the neighboring hotels. I will say this: their territory is not larger, but more green. therefore, the calimera somehow looks simpler. but pay attention to the price of vouchers to the calimera.
there are no complaints about the beach either. very wide. corals near the shore, like everywhere else, in charm. if you go down from the pontoon, then live corals and fish.
there is a cozy bay on the left. Buses go there, but you can also walk. 4-5 minutes, honestly! : ) there is a sandy entrance to the sea and right in the middle of the bay there is a small reef with fish.
the rooms are excellent. everything worked. hair dryer, spare threads, needles, shampoos, rinses, body cream, liquid soap, a bathing cap - as it should be in 5 * it was.
no complaints about the service. not rude, not ignored. the only thing they noticed is that Russians are poured beer into glasses, and they give foreigners in bottles...
summary: the hotel is still 5 *! slightly simpler territory (the only thing I can find fault with), but big! and a very tasty price is always at the calimera. (because the lily of Albatross hotels always dumps. )
