We chose the hotel because we liked the pictures on the website. We took a ticket with a Standard room, but at the reception they offered us Sea view for 15 usd - and we gladly agreed. The room is excellent, the view from the balcony is mesmerizing, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food is delicious (especially for dinner: they even gave crabs, octopuses and quails). Yes, the plumbing is not new and there is a crack on the toilet. Yes, the crisis in Egypt, which affected the hotel (even some of the pools were not running). But, friends, I did not go on vacation for the sake of the restroom! The corals near the hotel are beautiful - snorkeling is incomparable! Cyrene Grand Hotel 5* I RECOMMEND!! !
