We rested at the Melia Sharm Hotel from 10/13/10 to 10/24/10 with two families with a child of 13 years old. I work in the field of tourism, travel agency "Robinson" in Dnepropetrovsk and I can adequately evaluate the hotel. The hotel was chosen blindly, because there were practically no reviews about it.
The hotel is brand new, the opening was on August 1.2010, divided into active and VIP zones. All life takes place in the active zone. The animation at the hotel is not intrusive, but if you wish, you can be busy all day. My daughter's day was scheduled by the minute: oriental dances, samba, latin, aqua aerobics, yoga, darts, etc. In the evening, live music in the lobby, show programs on the observation deck by the pools with dances from the peoples of the world, fire performances, musicals, etc. Contests, like Mr. and Mrs. hotel - no!
The food is above average, the choice is not large, but everything is edible. Full breakfasts with omelettes, meat, fish, fruits and pastries. Lunches and dinners are hearty, at the same time meat, several types of chicken, fish, grilled vegetables, vegetable cuts and salads seasoned with mayonnaise, like Olivier, squid, crab, etc. , which you can safely eat (we did not eat salads in other hotels ).

AL has three bars: a lobby bar (24/7), a pool bar and a beach bar. The hotel bars have a good selection of juices (packaged), NOT UPPI! , beer, cola, fanta, bottled sprite, coffee, cappuccino, etc. brew in a coffee machine, local alcoholic drinks and cocktails based on them. from 16 to 17 - ice cream.
But the most important thing is the sea! On the bottom side are the Coral Montazah and Baron hotels, on the other side, Melia Sinai. You can use the pontoons of neighboring hotels. There is a beautiful, living coral reef! We swam every day with Napoleon, he often lay at the bottom, hid in crevices from annoying divers, who annoyed him very much. And on the last day, Napoleon lay down under the Melia Sinai pontoon on white sand and everyone could take a picture.
Perhaps this is our best holiday in Egypt.
Have a nice holiday everyone.
