I want to share my impressions about this "excellent", in my opinion, hotel. I've seen a lot of hotels and I know what to compare with, I'm pretty picky about this. My husband and I were at the beginning of February. One minus in this trip is the weather !!! ! The wind was blowing and it was cloudy for three days. I do not advise anyone to go to Sharm in winter, it is better to go in autumn or spring. But not in winter! I'll start in order. When choosing a hotel, I read a lot of reviews and nothing could be more reliable, otherwise they can be bred in travel agencies, tested on myself more than once by spoiled vacations. So I relied on tourists. We arrived in the morning and at 10 were in the hotels. There were very few Russian tourists in the hotels, mainly Italians, Germans, Poles. There, you really need to pay 20 dollars at the reception to check in earlier, otherwise you had to wait 14.00, they had such rules (by the way, like all hotels now such a divorce), they settled in an hour, the rest who did not pay really waited 14.00. 00. We got an excellent room near the pool overlooking the sea (and we had a standard room on the ticket), there are such rooms closer to the road without any view. Room, clean, comfortable. We were cleaned every other day, and then we asked that it was not necessary, but he persistently rushed to clean it and did not want to listen to anything. The territory is very beautiful, well-groomed. They have pools in cascades, and it is not one, it smoothly flows from one to another. Very nice, great idea. One of the pools was heated, so when it was overcast we could safely swim in it. The sea is excellent, we swam almost every day, not for a long time, though, since the water was not very warm and it was. Coral is alive, very beautiful!! ! Lots of fish to see and swim. Fed, in my opinion, normally in general you can choose. Of course, this is not Turkey for you, but at home we hardly prepare such an assortment. In general, the chicken was every day, like the fish. Beef and even mutton a couple of times. But to be honest, the assortment is not large, in general, we went there in order to fill our stomach. Serving in the main restaurant is excellent, there are always cutlery, a cup is worth it. Dishes are clean with no stains. At lunch, you are always poured water as soon as you come in and sit down at the table. The waiter himself comes up and asks what kind of alcohol to bring. . At breakfast, they themselves bring tea and coffee, there are no these machines. They even pour juices from packages into vending machines from them. There is no this colored water. The waiters, if you ordered, for example, a glass of wine, then they themselves bring supplements, although you didn’t even ask and you’re unlikely to drink it. Vopschem server and service, I've never seen such as in Melia. True, the animation there is weak, one might say none, but it was generally unnecessary for us and was very unnecessary. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the city by taxi, there is nothing nearby. Taxis do not need to be ordered to hotels, when you leave the hotel, taxi drivers are always standing and you can negotiate for 6-7 dollars to take you there. And then in hotels they ask for 10 dollars and you can’t bargain. The staff in Melia is good-natured though not everyone knows Russian. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel! Price and quality are the same and the holiday will not be spoiled. Simply superb hotel! You will not regret!! !
