We rested in Melia from June 6 to June 13 - me, my sister and nephew. I'll tell you everything in order, but in general the impressions are good, the emotions were positive. Even by the end of the week I wanted to come back here again someday, which is very rare for me)
Settled very quickly, even somehow unexpectedly. They offered to take a sea view with an additional charge, but we were also satisfied with a partial sea view without additional money. The room was immediately with a baby bed, so no one had to ask. Valuables were immediately put in a safe, so there were no problems with these either. My sister somehow left the ring in a conspicuous place in the room, so that's where she left it, she took it there, so there was no theft or we were just lucky. The room is pretty decent, the only thing - in the bathroom, this glass half-curtain is somehow out of topic. They cleaned the room normally, replenished all stocks of shampoo and gel every day, when they asked, they even left the second portion) So special thanks to Ahmed. In general, there are no complaints about the staff, all are very friendly and smiling people)
Upon arrival, we immediately got to dinner - the food is decent, there is always plenty to choose from and even delicious food. Every evening the dishes from the chef are different: baked leg of lamb, fish with vegetables, baked goose, in general, we had enough of everything and liked everything. Their desserts are very tasty, I don’t know if they tried everything, but they tried very hard) The next day, we figured out who and when delivers, I mean drinks, and life became generally good. Considering that we had a female company, so we didn’t have any problems with tables or a long wait for tea, coffee or wine, even sometimes there was an abundance of attention)))

We rested by the sea, then by the pool we always found three free sun loungers for ourselves. The sea periodically came and went, and it was not systematic, but we got used to it and rejoiced when there was more water than bone deep)
Mosquitoes and other insects were not found, although after reading the reviews we stocked up with all means. So I can say with confidence that they are not in the first building, you can go)
But somehow we didn’t really notice the animators, some of them were already very passive, but we entertained ourselves anyway, so it might be good that they didn’t interfere)
We visited SOHO, we took a taxi at the hotel for $ 10 round trip, you could find it cheaper, but you need to go out and look for it.
We went from the company Anex Tour and bought excursions from them too. Our guide was Mustafa - an adequate, smart and intelligent person, this should be a normal hotel guide. We took excursions on a yacht to Ras Muhamed and also a basticaf, so that the child could see the fish - I liked it very much, Mustafa gave us a discount, which is also not bad)
So everything was GOOD - the hotel, the rest, the sea and we are against the backdrop of all this))))
