I liked it! For those who are for the first time, it's probably just magical!

Just want to express my deep gratitude to those who are not lazy and write reviews about hotels!
When a travel agency offers us several vacation options to choose from, I always carefully study everything that is written and make the final choice.
We rested with my mother in Melia Sharm from 07/04/13 to 07/11/13.
Far from the first time in Egypt, we love it very much, especially Sharm el-Sheikh.
We were seated as soon as we arrived. A glass of juice at the reception was very helpful. They also wrote about this “pleasure” in the reviews) The spouses in front of us were offered a room with a sea view + $ 20 per day)
Strange All-inclusive system. It is not always clear what is paid and what is not.
The rooms are not bad, spacious and clean, although the furniture is not new. Everything worked!

Room cleaning is very good. Having seen enough, the “Inspector General” checked the entire room for dust - she found nothing! The bed is white, the mattress topper and mattress are in perfect condition. The mattress is hard but I like it. Every day the cleaner made beauty for us - swans, fish, crocodiles, etc. from bedspreads and towels. $ 1 was not always left, but this did not affect the quality of cleaning.
Until our people wrote about the riots in Sharm, we had no idea - everything is calm. The staff is friendly and welcoming without being intrusive.
The food is not luxurious (in November we were in Albatros Moderna - there is abundance! ), but there is always plenty to choose from. VERY tasty ice cream at lunch and at the pool bar! Coffee - VERY tasty (I drink double espresso)! Super!! ! The best is in the central bar and the bar by the sea! Fruits and vegetables are fine.
The only thing is that in recent days there was a limited selection of sweets and pastries, which may have reflected the beginning of Ramadan. By the way, the beginning of the “holy month” was very reflected on the staff - everyone became like zombies - unsmiling and quiet. Given the situation in the country, it was somehow uncomfortable a little.
I would like to note the Very pleasant among the staff - Ashraf - our guide, Ibrahim - Mukhamed - the security guard (nice and very smiling), Abdulla - the diving center (he speaks Russian very well and dreams of becoming a guide), Walid - an employee of the a la carte restaurant (he’s just handsome and communicates very nicely and unobtrusively with the guests), a little elderly uncle is a confectioner from the main restaurant (he’s very happy when he is praised, so he often goes “for an encore” from the kitchen and stands next to the “sweet table”), the cleaner of our numbers - he made us such a beauty, though he speaks Russian - it's hard, and in English too.
I really liked these people and for me, it was they who made up the "face" of the hotel.
At the pools - minus in windy weather, umbrellas do not open, so the second half of the holiday was spent on the beach, it's wonderful there - there are not many people, it's beautiful and the umbrellas are stationary. The sun loungers in this hotel are very uncomfortable, beach towels are scary. Again, I compare with Albatross - there are not sun loungers, but double beds!

Animation - only heard about it. It seems that the guys really do not want to work.
Better no animation than this!
Again, time for fun! How can you do aqua aerobics in July at 11.30 am?!! ! I really wanted to, but I was afraid that I would burn out - and so my nose, forehead and shoulders burned down while I was swimming.
I really liked the two shows with guest artists - really interesting and beautiful.
The main and most important plus of this hotel is the magnificent views, the hotel area is small and very intricate design (we didn’t immediately figure out where and how to get there). The mosquitoes didn’t bother, although after reading the reviews before the trip, they took them with them.
In general, we are very satisfied with the rest, perhaps this hotel, for me personally, is in second place in Sharm after Albatros Modern.
The hotel is not bad, although, as they say, not without remarks.
Thanks for the rest! How to calm down in Egypt - I will definitely come!
