I’ll clarify right away that I’ve been in Sharm 4 times. Therefore, I can boldly say that Melia Sharm is a wonderful hotel for a relaxing holiday.
There were no problems with accommodation, we arrived in the evening. The room stock was normal, everything worked properly, towels were changed, swans were spun, there was a mini-bar and a tea set, a beautiful terrace with chairs and wicker furniture, a wonderful green area, everywhere you can see ibises that are not even afraid of people. the territory of the hotel is well-groomed, there are many pools, waterfalls, everything is clean and beautiful. A separate topic is food, we had something to compare with, but in Melia Sharm there is nothing to complain about, absolutely everything is tasty and varied (turkey, chicken, beef, chicken, lamb, lamb, fish, seafood, a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits, well, of course delicious pastries and desserts). And of course, it is worth noting the most beautiful Red Sea, warm water, full of living creatures. A chic beach with a bunch of sunbeds, a bar on the beach with all kinds of drinks and fast food. At the expense of children's animation, a huge respect to Ela, she did not let our daughter get bored, although there were few Russian-speaking children, and in general there are a lot of foreigners in the hotel: Italians, Englishmen. In the evening there is some kind of show, but everything is very calm and civilized, therefore this hotel is not suitable for young people, but for couples with children and older people, that's it.
Among the shortcomings is the weather: on windy days it is impossible to lie on the beach, you have to go to Melia Sinai, and you can’t take towels and drinks from the bars there. There is only one heated pool, but it is very warm. Of the minor drawbacks - this is that not all bath accessories were and one set of towels was not enough. but with a visit to the reception everything was quickly settled. For me and my child, the disadvantage was the shower in the room, it is not removable, so it was difficult to redeem my daughter without my head. And as for me, a significant drawback is that there is nowhere to go out in the evening, with the exception of the promenade along the beach and a couple of shops behind the Baron, hotels located in Soho certainly benefit from this. And a minor drawback, which we later forgot about, but at the very beginning spoiled the first impressions of the hotel - this is an impudent porter boor, he stupidly extorted money, and having received a tip, he also left dissatisfied.

But in general, everything was 5 points. We will gladly return to this hotel and can safely recommend it to friends.
