We have never written reviews before, but now I really wanted to name all the pros and cons of the Dessole Seti Sharm hotel. Read many reviews, too many positive for this hotel. We are disappointed with the hotel again because of the rave reviews we read the day before.
Start over. Arriving at the hotel, at the reception they immediately identified us in a prehistoric room, very dark and with old, old furniture. Magically, after $20, we were given a cozy room on the ground floor with a terrace. The furniture was also old, but not shabby. Everything is simple but clean. Cleaned the room well, the cleaner left the money on the bed.
The hotel is located very well, very close to the Old Town, you can also get to Naama Bay by minibus for 2 pounds per person. We bought local SIM cards, not from a guide, but in the Old Town, it turned out much cheaper. They paid 2 dollars for a SIM card and put 20 dollars into the account. They called home to their grandchildren every day. Also bought fresh fruits and vegetables in the Old Market. Delicious strawberries and mangoes, tried melons, they are divine. We didn’t eat salads from fresh vegetables in the restaurant, we bought everything in the market and made ourselves. Completely different taste. In restaurants, the food was not pleasing, everything was available, but from everywhere it smelled of unsanitary conditions, there were greasy stains on the plates, there were not enough glasses and cups. Each time we chose something that had a good heat treatment. At the same time, it should be noted that during our entire stay there were no high-profile poisonings.

Now about the pluses of the hotel. The territory is compact, and at the same time, spacious. The buildings are arranged in a certain order, so it is difficult to get lost. Beautiful old palm trees and flowering shrubs are a real decoration of the territory. But the beach is what the hotel acquires regular guests for. Even if the service is catastrophically bad, and guests are forced to live in tents, tourists will go to this hotel. The beach is not just beautiful, it is luxurious, they say that this hotel on the beach has the oldest palm trees in Sharm El Sheikh. The sunbeds are a little worn, plastic, with old mattresses. Entrance to the sea by pontoon or from the shore. There are no corals here, you can watch fish near the shore, although there is no diversity. The third plus is active animation. They constantly organize something, they always carry out all aerobics, gymnastics, and dances with a smile. They have fun at the evening shows, everything is very well organized. And although at our age they don’t go to discos, we couldn’t resist and went to dance twice.
A sense of humor and a desire to relax helped us survive the troubles of the hotel in the form of poor service, old rooms and unsanitary conditions, but we will not come to this hotel again, although we will recommend it to active youth.
