I rested in this hotel with my wife and child....a week has already passed since I arrived home, there is still no definite opinion about this hotel. He likes and dislikes.
What I like is, first of all, the sea and the layout of the hotel and its location. In fact, it is unique for Sharm and is maximally adapted for families with children. Green and cozy territory, well-groomed. Polite and smiling staff, even at the bar. And everything else is like. . .
The rooms are original, standard ones are illuminated only through the stained-glass door, the bathrooms are large, but something with the sewer....the smell accumulates in them overnight so that when the door to the bathroom is opened in the morning, a sewer stench that cuts the eyes spreads through the room (there is no siphon) There was no maintenance of air conditioners, when they turned it on on the first night, we all had a cough and conjunctivitis with a runny nose, we had to refuse to use it and everything returned to normal... but we had to sleep due to stuffiness with the door open. And here is a new problem: music and dancing until half past one at night and the cries of muezzins at 4.20 and 4.50 in the morning from the minarets of nearby mosques - all this is perfectly audible with the door open. Everything else in the room seemed to satisfy. Especially the cleaning, meticulous and tidy. Water was given daily for one and a half liters, the Refrigerator, surprisingly, worked quietly and froze well. In general, it was possible to live . . yes, and we did not come to sleep !!

One of the weak points of the hotel is the restaurant. The food was bad, the assortment was poor. Especially logistics in restaurants suffers. The Soviet dining room will give hotel restaurants a hundred points ahead. Of the 40 minutes spent on breakfast or lunch or dinner, it takes 10 minutes for the food itself... everything else is looking for a free table, plate, cup and standing in lines for a fried egg, chicken wing (they only give two per plate) or 20 gram cutlet... but rice, french fries and mashed potatoes could be taken as much as you like. In general, you won’t die of hunger... but we didn’t come to eat ! ! But I was especially struck by the restaurant redneck expressed in the absence of normal spoons. The soup had to be slurped with plastic spoons (in the format of tea) with a capacity of about 1.5 milliliters!! ! Plastic spoons in Carl's restaurant!!! ! Tearooms. . . slurp soup!! ! Rare abomination!!! ! And yet . . this savings in paper napkins, they give out strictly one for each meal !! ! And fly....Especially in the morning hours . . everywhere, in a restaurant, on the beach... And unsanitary conditions in restaurants... giving the appropriate results... take antidiarrheal drugs with you . . many vacationers were looking for them there. But we didn't come here, did we?
The sea... this is the most beautiful thing in the hotel . . yes, and in Sharm itself... The sea at this hotel is unique, and the sandy beach with a sandy bottom and the lagoon and corals with fish near the buoys where my child first saw close up both an octopus and moray eel and admired fish and corals. We also went to the corals near the entrance to the bay... The sea is beautiful...
But here is the beach . . it is also beautiful with a palm grove . . but for 700 vacationers there are only about 300 sunbeds......
Systematically and constantly there are disputes like "but you weren't here. " Sunbeds have to be occupied at dawn, as the muezzins subside, which caused sharp discontent among those who love to sleep until ten o'clock. But we didn’t come here to lie on sunbeds !!!!!
The beach is dirty, especially between the bar and the pool, all cleaning of which consists in smoothing the sand with a log on a stick. There are a lot of cigarette butts, plastic plugs and various garbage in the sand. There I had the misfortune to drive a piece of metal wire into my heel. Insolent fat-ass personalities walk along the beach, importunately offering spa services and photo services. But the animation was especially annoying... From 10 o'clock in the morning they set up huge speakers to the very edge of the water and started up music with such decibels that it was possible to swim without a headache only 300 meters from the shore near the buoys.
A pool with slides... In principle, not bad . . And the security organization on the slides is good, there are no complaints . . but at this time the water in it should already be heated, it was five to seven degrees colder than the sea.
In general, we rested . . the child is happy and this is the main thing.
I have hope that the staff and the hotel administration will read this review and draw conclusions and eliminate all these disadvantages...
