Hello dear reader!

Usually whenever we travel with my family (Me, my wife and our 3 year old son) I try to write reviews about the places we visit.
The Dessole City sharm hotel is no exception, but I thought for a long time how to write an objective review…
I will try to point out both positive and negative aspects of our holiday.
We were in the Hotel from January 11 to January 23.2013.
The weather was great!
Negative sides:
The check-in may be a little delayed, that is, for the record, we were settled in a room at about 15:00 local time and I had to ask for a change of room.
Unfortunately, the first room that we were given was dirty, they did not have time to clean it, motivating by an insufficient number of staff for cleaning. Didn't make it 
There is not enough staff, they do not have time to prepare rooms in a quality and timely manner for the arrival of guests. (sometimes for objective reasons, for example, some guests vacate their room late before leaving.

Try not to be like them; )
There are problems with the toilet and bathroom, namely:
On the first floors, the water drain does not work well, that is, it is problematic for several people to take a bath in turn, the water “stands” in the shower room for several minutes after your bath.
Hot water is just boiling water, 80 degrees, maybe be careful! Direct the faucet or shower away from you first!
On the second floors, it happens that the water suddenly runs out and you stand in the soap for a while while the pump pumps water to your floor.
There are no banal brushes in the toilets, only the staff cleans the toilet. (We were with a child and regularly poured the children's pot down the toilet, the lack of a brush was a real problem for us)
Rooms 201 etc. next to the restaurant often smell of smoke and food.
The food is not very varied, i. e. many dishes are repeated every day.
(it didn’t bother us, you can diversify your diet yourself by compiling your own menu of dishes and products on the buffet.
Children's animation for C grade, there is a mini-disco in the evening, and during the day the children are not very busy.
There is no free bath. Sauna for money only in combination with services - expensive!
Friendly, but somewhat intrusive staff of the SPA center walks along the beach all day long and invites you to the SPA center, unfortunately they forget that they have already approached you and can distract you from your vacation many times.
The Internet in the lobby and at the reception (according to my standards) ate pulls on a C grade. When there are few users, it’s a bit bad with interruptions, but Skype with video works, when there are more users, only mail (text) can be sent or received.
Fitness center - inventory is scarce, experienced, old.
A rude girl works in the fitness center, her name is Nastya, she is from Kharkov. (Egyptian staff are friendly! )

Alcohol in the hotel (by my standards) is bad, if you drink alcohol, then bring enough with you. (bad is not poison, but the degree is not sustained and it is of poor quality, i. e. you can drink but not tasty. )
Positive sides:
When you check in, you don’t have to pay extra, if you don’t like the room, just ask to change it to Dildorra or at the reception - there will be no problems, they will change it to the best one (within the limits of your tour).
The hotel is relatively large.
The hotel has a lot of greenery.
Cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel.
Good geographical location of the hotel, the hotel is located in the bay, there is almost no wind in winter! Always warm and mild pleasant weather compared to other hotels nearby!
"Walking" accessibility, near the market, shops, supermarkets.
There is a heated pool, slides for children and adults!
Nutrition corresponds to 4 stars, i. e. meat is eaten every day (beef, lamb, poultry, fish)
Vegetables, fruits (kromno), vegetable dishes are varied, salads and of course a lot of sweets for you and your kids! Chefs work all day for you!
The staff is 99% very friendly! Egyptians are very friendly people.
Our room was cleaned every day and towels were changed as needed, beds were made and linens changed as needed too. If you like, leave $1 or £.5 in your room in a prominent place as a thank you to the staff member who cleans up for you; )
There is a playground.
Table tennis, darts, etc. free of charge.
The sea is clear
Sandy, big enough beach. (With a mask and snorkel, it is more interesting to dive to the left of our beach, there are many interesting and beautiful fish! )
There were enough sunbeds for everyone, there were no problems.
There is a snack bar on the beach.
Meals are organized in such a way that there is always something to eat in one or another restaurant.
There is a massage therapist on the beach and an outdoor massage cabin.
(for a fee)
From the "Pier" you can see beautiful fish without diving into the water.
Live music - a man with a very pleasant voice and perfect hearing will perform compositions for you in different languages.

Pegasus - Pegasus and his staff deserve a separate and more detailed description! (I will write in detail at the end of the review, if you want you can read it. )
The hotel has a girl Dildorra (Slavyanka) "Guest relation", she is an employee of the hotel and does not relate directly to Pegasus. Dildorra is one of the 98% of the hotel staff who will help you make your stay pleasant, comfortable and unforgettable. I recommend getting to know her on the first day of your stay at the Hotel.
Before leaving the hotel, do not be lazy, go to Dildora and put your review. This is the only objective way to contact the hotel management.
The staff is very polite and friendly!
Do not be lazy, learn a few words in Arabic, this will give you some bonuses and more pleasant sensations and attention when communicating with him!
The card says that towels on the beach can only be changed once a day, this is not true! Employees change towels as many times as you need.
Fitness center - you can do it, there are free simulators, there are treadmills, simple scales, Free of charge.
The hotel employs photographers, their names are Mali and Muhamed, they will take (if you want) excellent photos for you relatively cheaply.
Animation in Russian.
There is karaoke.
Next to the lobby bar there is a "Hookah Corner" where Joseph Narose works, he will prepare an excellent hookah for you (after 15:00 and until late in the evening). Joseph speaks Russian and is very pleasant to talk to. He loves sweet spirits, if you bring him a martini bianco or something like that, he will appreciate you and thank you!
(hookah in the hotel for a fee, but the coal is changed many times) You can enjoy for a long time by paying once.

############### Noted for myself: ####################
Tourists are 99% Slavs.
In the evening there is a feeling of being at a Russian wedding, the impressions of tourists are divided, some people like it, but some do not.
In the hotel, the less significant the more kind, friendly and always ready to help you! (unlike Russia)

If you exit the reception and go to the right, and at the intersection to the left (towards Namabei) there is a supermarket on the left side (open 24 hours), in this store you will find everything you need for yourself, food and necessary things. A little further there is METRO Cash & Carry.
In the OLD MARKET market (right gate) on the left side, near the mosque there is a Kodak salon, where you can print photos for your friends at a price of 1 pound apiece! Kodak sells film, batteries, underwater camera cases and other photo stray items.

Duty free
- there is a duty free market in the Old Market, but it is very small. In Nama Bay, duty free is better, you can get there by minibus for just 1 pound (about 15 minutes).
Probably not everyone knows that after arriving in Egypt, you can shop in Duty Free for another 3 days with your passport

Pegasus guides (as I see them)
Guides - guides are plus or minus friendly only if you give them your money for excursions, which they sell for two or three times more than outside the hotel.
If you refuse to buy excursions from Guides, you practically become their enemies.
From the service of a rude girl (guide) Nadezhda, my wife and I were forced to refuse. Asked questions to the guide Aida, she was more reserved but not friendly.
At the first meeting, the guides frighten tourists with a criminal situation outside the hotel and thereby in absentia form a negative perception of the country (Egypt) and its inhabitants among vacationers.
In Russia, this can be attributed to the fact that guides sow ethnic discord in order to achieve their goal.
Pegasus guides are the first guides (there are several of them in the hotel but they are almost all the same) who are NOT ready to compromise, not ready to settle issues, do not know how to work in the service sector, very emotional, NOT restrained, rude!
Instead of resolving issues, they immediately enter into a skirmish, raise their tone, and generally act according to the rule “Don’t like it? Leave! »
…. My family and I will try NOT to travel with PEGAS in the future! ! !

HOW TO EXPRESS YOUR THANKS TO THE HOTEL STAFF:
For the fact that you give money, the staff is scolded.
If you want, you can give them cigarettes from Russia.

In Egypt, a block of cigarettes costs about $15, in duty free about $5-7.
If the guys ask you to buy them cigarettes in dutik, do not refuse (they will give you money) because it costs nothing for you to buy cigarettes on your passport, and for them this is a saving of more than 50%! I think that you will be pleasantly surprised later on how much the attitude towards you personally will improve!

"Myths":
Despite the nonsense that the guides carry, the criminal situation is no worse than in other countries, Sharm is a tourist area, it’s not dangerous to walk!
Of course, you risk getting problems if you walk at night, in the dark, but it's like ours, it's no different.
Vouchers for excursions are sold cheaper outside the hotel, I sometimes bought 40-50% cheaper. When you meet people on excursions and find out who bought the tour for what, you wonder how many guides shod people!
In the market, sellers are a little more sticky than, for example, in Turkey, but this is not very problematic.
The Egyptians are friendly people and they understand that tourists are their “bread”, they want to leave a good impression about themselves so that you bring your friends and make them an advertisement.
The Egyptians, like other southern people, are very emotional, do not pay too much attention to this point.
Recommend:
The market is right across the street from the hotel reception. If you enter the market through the right gate and reach the crossroads with fruit, then on the right there will be a shop (Khamza, Dima, Mukhtar, Mahmud and Sultan) where you will find perfume and medicinal oil, hookahs, papyrus at a reasonable price.
It is also better to buy vegetables and fruits at this crossroads of the market.
At the entrance to the market (right gate) there is an exchanger on the right, it is better to change dollars for pounds and pay with them everywhere (today they give 6.5 pounds for $ 1)

A little further from the entrance to the market on the right there is a passage to the stage (at the foot of the mountain) there are often colorful performances on the stage (for free)
Oil, as well as vouchers for excursions in the hotel, is expensive, it is better to buy in the market.
There are a lot of fruits on the market, cheap! For example, strawberries -1$.
If you go up the sidewalk to the mountain to the right of the reception, you can easily get to the IL Mercato area, there is also a market and beautiful places, take a walk with your family or you will not regret it alone!
Mercato has an excellent entertainment complex "Thousand and One Nights", "Crocodile Show", Aquapark and much more! Recommend!

Special Thanks:
To tell the truth, it is difficult to single out someone, I am equally grateful to everyone and highly appreciate the work done by the guys!
On the last day, taking a pen and a piece of paper, I tried to rewrite the names of at least some of the staff to express personal gratitude, I hope that people from this list will not be left without the attention of the hotel management and will be rewarded 
Dildorra "Guest relation" is a very kind, pleasant girl who, despite her young age, will really help to resolve any issues on the territory of the hotel. Contact her and see for yourself!
Azmy Abdulla - (he does his job EXCELLENTLY, is friendly, sociable, open and will always help you) Thanks to his efforts, your room will always be clean and tidy!
The chefs in the restaurant are nice and very kind, it is especially pleasant to eat their creations, because you understand that these friendly people prepared dishes for you with love and joy!
Melad Rasmi helped my son wash his hands every evening near the central restaurant and was like a native, bow to him.
