Bought Fortuna 5*. Came to this hotel IL Mercato Hotel & Spa. Far from 5*. Cons: Tired rooms, old plumbing, cracks in the building… no wi-fi (although they write that it catches in the lobby). And the worst thing is food, no choice, monotonous and not tasty food. Chicken, strictly one part per hand, pancakes 2 pcs. , small. From fruits: orange, tangerine, pomegranate and dates. For the sweet tooth there is a choice. For a week, seafood was served once - shrimp (3 pcs. ) And small crab (1), and so, it's terribly not tasty. Caused a gag reflex. And by the way, there is a (sort of) a la carte restaurant on the roof, one visit is free per week. If I knew in advance what kind of slop they give there, I wouldn’t go... they also wanted to steam shrimp for $ 18 per kg. In general, I am not a picky tourist, not the first in Egypt, but I rested in 4 * hotels, and there the food was much tastier and more varied. And now the pros: the staff is responsive, trying to solve problems as quickly as possible. Cleaning every day. 4 swimming pools, 2 of them heated, beautiful promenade. The animators are trying, various entertainments, interesting performances for children in the evenings, and then a disco (on the roof). Exquisite furniture in the lobby, and a very nice hotel from the outside... That's it!
