We have always liked to relax in Sharm El Sheikh, and this time we did not change the old habit. We chose a hotel with a sandy beach, not blown by the winds. It was our first time at Iberotal Palace and we almost fell in love with it. The hotel has a lot of pluses, of the minuses, only a bad view from some standard rooms and a somewhat overpriced price. But first things first. The territory of the hotel is very compact, green and cozy. The beach is a 3-minute walk from the reception, our room was in the main building, it also has the main restaurant, very close to the heated pool, tennis courts. Now about the rooms, the rooms themselves are normal, the furniture is tired, but working, the fittings can hardly hold on in places. In the shower, the plumbing is a bit old, although from a distance it looks very decent. The first room we were offered had a view of the neighboring shabby buildings and the mosque. Before the flight, we read reviews about the hotel and understood that the morning prayer would wake everyone up. They asked to change the number. Very polite and tactful, referred to a small child. They gave me a room with a view on the other side of the hotel without a bribe. . Only after that they gave 20 dollars to the receptionist. The hotel was not 100 percent full so there was no problem with the rooms. The beach is luxurious, very comfortable sun loungers, rich dark yellow sand, clear sea. The beauty. There are no corals in the bay of Sharm El Maya, which is very convenient if you are relaxing with children. We looked at the corals in Ras Mohamed, that was enough for us (an excursion to Ras Mohamed by bus, a dolphinarium and a trip on a submarine were ordered from evatoursegypt. com - we really liked the service). There was an interesting animation for children, but still, due to the lack of Russian-speaking staff, it was difficult for a child to play with them. There are a lot of Germans in the hotel, there are Englishmen, Poles. Therefore, the attitude towards tourists is very respectful, the staff does not allow themselves stupid flirtations, they try to help, answer questions. They understand Russian, but practically do not speak it. There is practically no animation, everything for a relaxing holiday. We took breakfast and dinner, ordered pizza for lunch at a bar on the beach, went to eat at the Old Market, which is across the road. There, of course, not five-star restaurants, but very tasty. Wonderful shish kebab at Masriin restaurant, fish dishes at Fares. So it is not necessary to take the expensive all-inclusive Farao Club. Local alcohol can be purchased across the street or twice as expensive in bars. The hotel is very comfortable with a high level of service and corresponds to its star rating. We can recommend for families or for the elderly.
