I never write reviews, although we try to relax with the family a lot. The trip to this hotel turned out to be very controversial, and I would like to share my opinion with you. If we take Egypt, then before that the family rested five times, all five in Hurghada. Previously, we chose a hotel based on the perfect sandy beach. My daughter needed a comfortable entry into the sea, because she did not know how to swim. Now she is seven years old, so we decided to change the situation. In advance, I draw your attention to the fact that my ratings for the hotel are the highest. And all our problems were not related to the hotel.

Voucher. Apparently it's worth starting with the purchase of a ticket. It is not the first year that we trust the Ramensky travel agency Voyage and the manager Petr to choose a hotel for our vacation. This time we were advised Sunrise Island View 5*. After looking at various reviews on the Internet, we happily agreed and purchased a ticket for 12 days two weeks before departure.

And now attention: Anex Tour operator. I will return to it throughout the review, because the main problems arose with it. When buying a tour, I am very sensitive to the airport. The fact is that it is very convenient for us to fly from Domodedovo, but getting to other airports is a whole problem. The tour operator put up a convenient flight for us, but three days before the start of the vacation he changed the airport to Sheremetyevo. Moreover, the airline and the time of the return flight from Sharm were completely unknown. The tour operator said that we will find out this information already in Egypt. Agree, it is not very pleasant to fly to Egypt and not know when you will return. But the beginning of a vacation is the beginning of a vacation, and all the difficulties seem to be a mere trifle. Four hours by car, two of them along the Moscow Ring Road in terrible traffic jams, and here it is, our plane in the sea and the sun. June 9, departure time 16:55, Transaero Airlines, next stop is Sharm el-Sheikh.

Flight and resettlement.
The flight was just perfect, the baggage claim was almost fast, the waiting for the last passengers on our bus was almost imperceptible and here we are at the hotel. The move in was done instantly. Room 736 (second floor, view of the sea and Tiran Island, a huge balcony and a few ants in the bathroom). The plumbing is new, the room was cleaned regularly and quickly. By 12 noon the room was always cleaned. Swans were spun, linen and towels were changed. By the way, on arrival the cot was already standing and made up. At the Reception, a smiling boy, handing over the key, hinted that this room costs $60. But he never received any money from us. What really pleased me was that there were no bracelets on my hand. After taking a shower, we went to a late dinner (11:30 pm) and then to bed.

Population. The bulk of the British, then the Germans, then the Poles, Russians and Italians. There are very few Russians, about 15 percent of the total mass, and this is a definite plus for a calm, measured rest.
Of the Russian tour operators, only S7 Tour and my cheerful Anex Tour are present. Rumor has it that the first ones also leave the hotel and this is very bad. For with such an approach to business, like the second, there will soon be no tourists from Russia in the hotel at all. During our stay at the hotel there was a World Cup. On days when the England national team played, all shows in the hotel were canceled. Everything was given to the game. Oh, how cool I was rooting for Algeria in the amphitheater. One, I must say, was sick! It was nice to watch the drooping English after the match. But I was just happy, singing in every way: Algeria! Algeria…Ole-ole-ole! By the way, Mr. Rooney is simply no, and the English animators promised to kill me.

Beach and pools. The hotel has a chic, multi-level beach. Free sun loungers are always available at each level. Pontoons are definitely the shortest on the coast, and very comfortable, not on stilts, but floating.

Towels are provided both on the beach and by the sea. Be careful. Our towel was stolen on our last day. We took a place by the pool, went to have breakfast, came, and apparently someone attached legs to him.

Nutrition. Very good food. The buffet is small but very filling. There are always several varieties of meat. And boiled, and fried and grilled. Lots of seafood. There were also crabs and octopuses and squids. There are a lot of vegetables and fruits. Packaged juices in the restaurant: Goava, Mango, Orange. There are also diluted mixtures. The Victoria bar on the second floor has a lot of different juices, including my favorite tomato. There is also a variety of alcoholic imported drinks for those with UALL. By the way, for this category one haircut and scuba diving for 30 minutes are free and a discount of 15 euros in the SPA. We didn't go to the restaurant on the beach because we didn't want to. It was just laziness, and the guitarist in the main restaurant always played well.
The staff works great. A chair will be pushed up for you, and drinks will be brought, and they will smile.

Internet. Internet in the hotel is paid, and quite expensive. We found much cheaper. When you exit the hotel, go to the right and after a hundred meters you will find an Internet cafe. $3 half an hour. Just enough for my daughter to chat with all the grandmothers via Skype. There you can also buy a local SIM-card, calls to Russia for which cost about 80 cents per minute. By the way, Skype calls to cell phones in Russia cost only 5 cents per minute, so learn it if you haven't already.

Entertainment. For the child in the hotel there is a kids club. In fact, my daughter only went there once. Swimming was more interesting for her than drawing. From myself, I note that a Russian girl works in the children's club. Children's disco is always held. By tradition, it starts at 20:30. Next comes the adult show. The family liked it, but I preferred to watch football in the bar.

When you exit the hotel you find yourself on Soho Street. Lots of entertainment for both adults and children. Lots of different shops. They are quite expensive, especially compared to the Old City and Naama Bay. The only skating rink in Africa. ($40 for adults, $20 for children). The ice is bad, but it was fun to ride. Cinema, which shows a film about Egypt in Russian on a panoramic screen. Starting at 20:00, price $7. Discotheque, many different restaurants and bars. Singing fountains operate at the beginning of each hour for fifteen minutes. A big stage where every evening someone performs. Children's disco from the Russian animation team every evening. Daughter loved it here. Next to the skating rink is a children's town with slides, trampolines (located indoors). $5 and your child is supervised for 2 hours. Everything is top notch. The hotel itself sells a trip to the Cleo water park. He's just no.
Only children 3-6 years old will like it. Lots of small hills. We decided to go ourselves. $6 for a car and the taxi driver takes you to the Aqua water park. Gorgeous slides, of which there are 29. Almost all of them are large, so you are guaranteed to have fun. $30 per adult and $20 per child. Water should be hidden in a towel, because the bags are inspected. Or buy it locally.

Anex Tour. Well, now about the "sweet". All is well, it just doesn't seem to happen. I already wrote about changing the flight to Sharm. Further more. On the third day of our stay at the hotel, we were informed that we were not flying back on the 20th, but on the 19th of June. So we lose one day. Guide Natalia explained this to us by the fact that the tour operator had problems with the air carrier. I told the guide that I would not go anywhere on June 19, and would rest until the 20th. Very soon, Natalya told us the “secret”: they found three tickets for my family exactly for the 20th, while asking them not to tell the tourists departing on the 19th.
The day before departure, tourists departing on June 19 found out that they did not fly out in the evening (as they flew on vacation), but early in the morning (departure from the hotel at 7 am, and departure at about 10). In fact, the tourists lost another day, and their vacation was apparently ruined completely.

We continue the conversation. We decided to book a tour through our guide. The order itself went quickly. Natalia told us that the departure is scheduled for 7 am (the number seven is often repeated). In the evening, after dinner, a few hours before leaving for the tour, we walked around Soho and met our guide. We met by chance ...and she informed us that the tour would not take place. The guide just forgot about us. It's good that the money was returned. And not immediately at the meeting, but two days later.

The day before our flight home, out of habit, we approached the stand of our tour operator ...but there was no information about the departure, however, as well as a guide on the spot. After waiting an hour, we decided to dial Natalia's number. The phone was silent.
A lot of calls and time did not help. My condition was far from the best. The hotel staff kindly came to the rescue and informed us that problems with the Anex Tour happen regularly. The guys called our guide and found out that our flight will take place on June 20 at 21.55. When the phone was handed over to me, Natalya said that she was not going to our hotel today, but she wanted to inform us about the departure in the morning. At the same time, we apparently would have to sit on our suitcases, waiting for Natalia's messages.

At 12 o'clock on June 20 we handed over the room. Suitcases are removed in a special room. Before leaving the hotel, we rested by the pool. In the evening we had dinner and began to wait for the bus, which was supposed to arrive for us at 19.15. This is where things got interesting. Natalia appeared exactly at 19.15 and informed us that there were no air tickets for us. We will be transferred to another hotel, where we will wait for free places. When we fly to Russia, they refused to tell us.

The fact that we had to go to work on June 21, the fact that a taxi to the house was called and paid for at the airport, the fact that my daughter had an incomprehensible allergy (she disappeared at home in less than a day) did not interest the tour operator employees. Three people arrived at once to convince us to move to another hotel. Moreover, each of them was asked only one question: why is there no plane? Everyone's answers were different. One said that the plane did not take off from Moscow, the second said that it had broken down in Sharm, the third one was sure that our flight had left at all in the morning, but they simply did not tell us. A complete lie for two hours. Moreover, there was one thing in common in these answers - all employees were informed about this 10 minutes before our departure from the hotel. In fact, this flight arrived and departed on time, and Anex Tour simply did not buy seats for us. For what reason, I can't say. Such a nice tour operator.
According to the numerous Anex Tour circus troupe, they cannot leave us in this hotel, as the hotel is full. Only now the hotel staff told me that the hotel is no more than 70 percent full. We didn’t have to choose and we were sent to Sol Y Mar Riva Club 5 *. And we got into it only at 22:00. A simple calculation shows that for ten hours the tour operator left us homeless without a hotel.

Upon arrival at the new hotel, we were told that we would fly out tomorrow at 12 noon. Only in the morning we did not find a guide who was supposed to confirm this information to us. He did not take his phone until the evening. Only by 19:00 did information about our daytime flight on June 22 appear on the stand. The guide also appeared, informing us with a smile that now we would definitely fly away. I almost killed him... I don't know what kept him back. I will never forget the words of the crying daughter: Send us somewhere to Russia already. We'll take a taxi from there.
This time, there was still a plane, and we got home safely, but the sediment remained, and apparently no one will return the lost money, along with a reprimand and deprivation of the bonus. Moreover, no one ever apologized to us. Already in Egypt, we wrote a complaint, however, there is zero information on it. After all, it could have been done differently. And inform about the departure in advance, and transport immediately after the check-out at the hotel, and deal with health and work. Anex Tour does nothing of this, and apparently does not know how.

And yet our vacation was a success. The only pity is that we have chosen such non-professionals as Anex Tour. Beware and choose really trusted tour operators. And we would love to return to this hotel ...with another tour operator.
