I wanted it to be not very expensive, to have a good reef (and I will say that for us - beginners, the underwater world was very beautiful and rich !!! ), the first line by the sea, good food, and also the opportunity to take a walk in the evening (on Soho Square) . There were negative reviews, mainly about the fact that the hotel is old and there are many bad rooms. This was the only negative, in my opinion (as I understood from the reviews of tourists). This did not frighten us, because there were much more pluses! And we decided to fly as a family to have a rest in the Island View Hotel, and also to celebrate my anniversary there! And they did not regret it at all, our acquaintance with Egypt turned out to be VERY pleasant! Family vacation - three adults. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning, around 7 am. Check-in from 14.00, but immediately there is an opportunity to solve all problems with early check-in and everything else. You can leave your things and immediately put on a bracelet and go to breakfast ($ 5 per person). What we did. And for a small surcharge, we resolved the issue with the room and instead of the 1-room standard, we were given a 2-room family room with sea views, with excellent beds, two air conditioners, a good TV, and all amenities. Therefore, we cannot judge how "killed" the other numbers are. We were lucky and for that thanks to Mahmoud, who helped us with all questions! For cleaning, they left $ 1 each, but purely out of gratitude, because the guy tried. Many do not leave and still cleaning is carried out normally. On my birthday, the guy did his best and made me a real beauty on the bed! ) Every day, a free bottle of water per person. You can write a lot and emotionally about food, because in the main restaurant everything was delicious, varied and always fresh! Very friendly chefs and wait staff. Always smiles and friendly looks. Lots of meat dishes. Turkey, beef, chicken, liver, lamb. There were often fish dishes. As for alcohol, I liked some cocktails, more or less red wine and pleasant beer. We didn't drink strong drinks, so I don't know. . We visited three a la carte restaurants. Italian, oriental and fish. I especially liked the oriental one. Everything was delicious in it! ) In Italian, I liked the pizza "four cheeses" and desserts. I liked the fish less, but this is not for everyone. . . They sign up for restaurants every day. That is, come to the main restaurant at 13.00 and there is already a small queue for registration. One day they sign up for dinner in an Italian restaurant, another day in an oriental one, then in a fish one and again in a circle) There is a bar on the beach from 10-17 o'clock, drinks, coffee, juices. From 11.00 alcohol. From 15-17 hours French fries, burgers. (A couple of times they also took it) The beach is clean, they clean it all the time. The entrance is only from the pontoon, you can get your feet wet near the shore, but there is not enough space. Although they bathed babies there) They didn’t buy special shoes, no one wore them there. There is enough space for everyone on the pontoon. Incredibly beautiful underwater world, a large variety of fish. A lot of fish surgeons, right in the shallow water swim near the pontoon. We saw the Lionfish once. The Napoleon family lives there, the largest is over 80 cm, just a handsome man! , swims up close and poses with his eye turned), saw the Igloo fish, and many others! I understand that we are beginners, perhaps there are more interesting places for experienced ones, but we VERY liked corals and fish! The sea was warm, although there was a wind, but there were no big waves, since the bay is protected from the wind, which also added its + to the choice of the hotel. It was hot in the sun, a little cool in the shade when you get out of the water. But at the end of the holiday, both the sea and the air temperature warmed up. A team of animators constantly worked on the beach, wonderful guys) We didn’t meet everyone, so I can’t list everyone by name. Thanks to Dana and everyone else for a good mood, for exercises, games, for their dance, which made me happy in the morning and cheered me up for the whole day. In the evenings, they also held shows, competitions. True, we went only once to an oriental show at the Amphitheatre. And once again in a cafe where Karaoke was held. Most often, after dinner, we walked in Soho, where there is a beautiful singing fountain, went into the hall, where we watched a belly dance and ate delicious ice cream. Many shops with souvenirs, oils, knitwear. Opposite the hotel there is a Pharmacy, there are very high quality medicines and at a price much lower than ours. . In Soho there is a shop where fruits, delicious strawberries, melons, mangoes, dates are sold very inexpensively. We took the last day to take home. And so, to eat there, you don’t need to buy) There are plenty of fruits in the hotel! Eat plenty) Very beautiful and large area of ​ ​ the hotel. The Internet is bad, but it is possible to communicate via viber. We saw the hotel guide only a couple of times. I can’t say anything bad, a friendly normal person) We took a tour to Cairo for two days from him. It was tiresome to go, but it is worth it. Price $105 per person. It includes a bus to Cairo, a walk on a 4-storey liner along the Nile, dinner, a show, an overnight stay on the liner, breakfast, then a bus to the museum, then the Pyramids, lunch and back by bus to the hotel. We all enjoyed our holiday very much! Vacationers in this period of time were all ours) The guide said that now the hotel is 98% Ukraine) In the last two days, they came from other countries, and many local. But nothing has changed for us, except that it has become more difficult to take a favorite table on the street)) I especially want to say THANK YOU for my birthday! They gave me an amazing cake!
