ЖАЛЬ, ЧТО СТАЛО ТАК... SORRY WHAT IT HAPPENED...

Good day, friends! Were at the ISLAND VIEW RESORT hotel (former Sunrise Island View, former Maxim Plaza) at the New Year's Eve - from 12/30/2012 to 01/06/2013 (company, 8 people - 3 married couples, one of them with a child of 9 years old and 1 young man ). I must say right away that we have been in this hotel for the 4th time on average, we mainly celebrate the New Year, the last visit was a meeting in 2011. We come to this hotel (and the neighboring one, Concord Front) solely because of Soho Square, where it is so pleasant to take a walk after dinner and dilute the pastime at the hotel.
SO, IN COMPARISON with the rest of two years ago. Unfortunately, I completely agree with the previous review by vika vik2004, there is not even anything to add - the food is simply meager, the service can only be spurred on by a systematic "infusion" of money, the service is very low. The hotel feels dilapidated ("democracy" in Egyptian in action or has the owner of the hotel changed? ). The only consolation is the sun, the sea and its inhabitants - this, as always, is in Shark Bay, at a height. But that's what we're going for, aren't we? So if this is your first time in Sharm and in this hotel, you are not spoiled by Europe and just want to admire the wonderful inhabitants of the Red Sea, you will definitely like it. But we are in this hotel so far, before the change of hotel management and service, not a foot!
