I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews, but we all really liked it! I am writing straight from the hotel, we have been resting here for the 4th day. Check in was quick and the room was amazing!
Huge bed, huge bath, LCD TV with a bunch of Russian and Ukrainian channels. With Wi-Fi, there really is a nuance, the first day everything was flying, but then its almost complete absence. I had to buy a SIM card with 4GB of traffic for $10.
By the way, in the neighboring Sonesta hotel there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms at all! There he is only at the reception.
The service for the first 2 days was excellent, the staff, young and old, always say hello, ask how are you, interested in how to help, etc.

Well, after 2 days, out of gratitude, a small tip was left to the cleaner of the room, the waiter in the restaurant and the bartender by the pool. And now, from that moment on, the service is not just excellent, but beyond praise. Every morning in the room there is almost a box of drinking water, a bunch of gels, shampoos, conditioners, etc. When you enter a restaurant, they notice you first and without having time to look back, there are already glasses of wine, water, disposable containers on the table for you to pick up sweets in your room after a meal. The pool bar has a similar story.
Speaking of pools, there are 3 of them and they are just like in paradise! The purest blue water, jacuzzi, unobtrusive relaxation music, soft sun loungers. In general, everything in the hotel is made for relaxation and it's just an idyll!
If you come with a bunch of children or you are an avid party-goers, then of course you will not like it...Well, my wife and I went to relax our souls and get rid of everything, we are delighted!
Passing to the sea through the territory of Sonesta, it is already wild to look at the terrible pool and the conditions in which they live there (compared to the piano).
The beach at Le Royal and Sonesta is really common, but for Royal there is a separate area with a security guard and comfortable sun loungers. Towels on the beach are also personal - for the Royal are almost new, dense, fleecy, and for the sonesta - thin and have seen a lot of tourist bodies.
As for the sea itself, entering the water from the beach is really hellish, but literally 20 steps to the right and there is perfect sand (the territory of another hotel). And all sorts of fish swim in large numbers. If these fish are not enough for you, you have to overcome your hellish entrance to the water and swim to the left of the same "20 steps", there is a live reef and a lot of living creatures.
I almost forgot about food. . . Everything is delicious! Yes, many dishes are repeated daily, but at the same time, every dinner there is something new. One day Italian food, another day Spanish food, etc. Unlike neighboring Sonesta, where everything is the same every day.
In general, I summarize, the hotel is magnificent! We haven't left yet, but we already want to come back next year.
