The hotel is ideally suited for snorkeling (snorkeling from German. Schnorchel - breathing tube - a type of swimming under the surface of the water with a mask and breathing tube and, usually, with fins). And for divers, of course (there is also a diving club with equipment rental and specialists).

There is excellent coral, not deep, no currents and no big waves even in strong winds. I liked everything here. Although I will say that there are places in Hurghada where it is not worse.

It is here that boats with divers sail, which means that this area deserves attention. At the same time, boats do not interfere with hotel guests - far enough from the pontoon. The entrance to the sea is only from it. But you can go knee-deep (no more) into the water from the beach, there is a little sand. The beach is well equipped: sunbeds, umbrellas, showers. Bathroom in the building, which is close enough.
Wi-Fi is not free!

We went in the direction of other hotels - sometimes we received viber messages in the area of the Baron Hotel, but everything was password protected. There are few guests, but those who were there did not know the password (or did not say).

The heated pool worked. And this is a miracle - all around him and bunched up.

Checked in at 9:00 am and allowed to have breakfast. But, during the eviction, they did not give lunch, but in
due to the delay of the flight, we left not at 14-30, but at 16-40 of the day. They did not extend the number, because they informed us late - that is, instead of the bus, the manager came and said that the flight was delayed by 2 hours. I had to lie around the pool in clothes and drink (they found a bracelet : )), and they guarded us in the restaurant and did not let us in (they were terribly hungry, only a pack of their chips eased the suffering a little). By the way, bracelets are not cut off for regular customers.

The rooms are standard: a safe, a hairdryer, bath accessories (soap, a cap, shower gels and body lotion) are available. We stole the shampoo ourselves from the cart. Towels seem to be changed every day.
The bath is comfortable (women will understand me). Nothing was broken. There are hooks on the windows in addition to latches. The beds are awfully awfully hard, get ready. Unfortunately, there was no local music channel on TV. There were Italian, Arabic and Russian-language channels. There was a channel where they watched films in English.

Water. They give out 2 bottles, then replenish in the coolers in the bar under the lighthouse and in the restaurant without any problems.

Food. It's not very clear. The better, the worse. Men will definitely miss the meat - there are mainly fish (fried, stewed, grilled and not all tasty). We ate fish, herbs and vegetables. Not very sweet (old). Olives were once. Feta once, then it was replaced with cottage cheese-sour cream. There were yoghurts and dry breakfasts. carrots once. Strawberries once. Oranges, dates, melon - daily. Sometimes guava. The menu is generally typical for Yegi - with an emphasis on pasta, stewed vegetables and legumes.

Soups are mostly not mashed, but transparent and with vermicelli. Tea is traditionally delicious, and coffee is traditionally nasty (not boiled). Yupi-juices were. All as always, no frills.

The territory is well-groomed, everything is in bloom - gardeners work at 100%. Beautiful!

The shops. There are a few (classic). The pharmacy has been closed for at least 2 months. For example, you can buy feminine hygiene items in a store of various goods, including cosmetics. But keep in mind - a package of poor quality for 10 pieces costs 3 dollars (3 x 25.94 = 77.82 UAH)! They tried to sell strawberries at the pool bar for $4 a pack. In the old city like 1.5-2 dollars + taxi. You will be offered to go to a disco, think for yourself whether you need it - the entrance is $ 20 and each cocktail is 5. For this, the one who scouted you will receive a bonus. Rumors spread quickly, so the fact that you are overspending or easy to swindle fly away instantly.
So the services of a massage, a local spa and a photographer will be overpriced, especially in the early days. Wait and bargain if you need to.

Animation. There are evening programs at the bar - Egyptian evening (belly dancing, a man with skirts and tambourines), Mr. Hotel, Miss Hotel, Karaoke, Best Couple and others. They start very late (for those who get up early to swim). Children's disco after dinner just kills, boredom is mortal. I think they are arranging a tie to persuade you to go to a disco and get money for the delivery of new bodies. For example, in Coral Beach (Hurghada) the program began during dinner - there were live songs, you could dance, it was fun. And then the program, which was not tedious to wait. It's boring in the evening, only a bar and a promenade along which you can walk and defile in outfits. The program is not so interesting to languish in anticipation, it is better to sleep.
More interesting during the day - water polo, dancing, yoga, bocha (or petanque - Provencal balls), darts (English darts - darts), tennis. There is billiards in the bar. In the intervals between swims, outdoor games are normal.

Contingent. The hotel is half empty. From foreigners - guests from Ukraine. The rest is the local population. This is quite difficult and is reflected in the rest: very noisy, hustle, harassment to take pictures, physical discomfort everywhere. Women bathe in their clothes in the pool and block the stairs. It doesn’t even occur to them that the stairs are not for them, but for everyone, and people should be let through. The pontoon is blocked by those who do not swim, but simply hustle there and again block the descent into the water (they wet their feet in the water). Getting out of the water with equipment is generally difficult. Local crowds go (they even crowd into the toilet and wait for each other there). In general - a complete feeling that you are in a gypsy camp. They have no concept of personal space! ! !
Huge noisy families with children and great-grandmothers, many very fat and almost all uneducated. Do not pass, in the restaurant everything is eaten at the moment. I advise you to go early to meals, as you may be left without anything. Locals come later and sit there for a very long time, eating everything clean. In general, there is little pleasant, and the rest is added by his native Tagil - we also have it: bulls with beer whose glasses are small and too lazy to walk, show themselves to be outright rednecks and rude people. Aunts are also “magnificent” in quotation marks - they make noise, scandal, get drunk. The good news is that according to polls, they paid much more than we did for too! : )
In general, it did not get better, it got worse. Have a nice holiday! : )

P. S. Anyway, I love Egypt for its sun and sea in winter, for its fish and history. This is the best gift for me - summer in winter!
