I chose the hotel myself, as I am a travel agent and, according to reviews and information from the Internet, it was the best option for a vacation. The location of the hotel is very good. That's just, as usual in Egypt, a little dirty. From the beginning, we arrived and were sent to breakfast, and when we returned around 9:30, we were put into a very bad room, where it was cold, dark and dirty. Dirty curtains, broken bed, very terrible room. We waited a day and paid $ 35 extra and they moved us to a room with a sea view and it was already a little better there. But even then I had to clean it up. From the cleaning here, only the floor is washed and the garbage is taken out. And I washed all the dust myself, washed the bathroom, mirrors, wardrobe, panoramic windows. I don't like dirt. This is not Rixos, then it is permissible. The hotel area is small, located on the 1st line. The beach is normal, the bar too, but the beer is very bad. It's not far to the old town and the airport. The entry into the sea was from a pontoon, but we didn’t swim much, since we were on excursions almost all the time. If you go here with children, then this hotel is not suitable, since there are already corals on the shore, there is no clean beach as such. And from the pontoon with small children it will be inconvenient. Service in principle is normal, the waiters in the restaurant tried to keep order. But the menu was monotonous, not impressed. Several types of meat and some fish, not much choice. There was one unpleasant moment when they didn’t bring water to us when cleaning the room, I called the reception several times, we lived not far from it, they said that they would bring it now. But no one brought anything. Even personally already went to understand what the problem is. I just got sick and the temperature rose, it’s just that there was simply nothing to drink pills with. After the second trip to the reception and a small scandal, they brought me two bottles of water at once. And after this incident, everyone went smiling and greeting us. I liked the fact that on New Year's Eve there was no need to pay for a gala dinner. The usual dinner was postponed for several hours, tables were set for everyone (not where we ate all the time, but in another place), and we sat somewhere until 2 am and celebrated. It is very quiet and peaceful here, a good rest for couples. But most of all we remember the excursions.
