The first desire, after arrival, was to write one negative, so I decided to cool down my emotions for a week and write a realistic review.
The Melton hotel used to be larger in territory and was called Melia Sharm, beach towels with such an inscription and a model of the hotel, which disappears with dust in one of the buildings, remind of this. By the way, this hotel used to have legal 3 stars, how it is now 5 * is a mystery to many.
+ 1 line, beach nearby, pontoon 30 meters
+ They didn’t die of hunger, every day they have a grill for dinner
+ 2 swimming pools + children's paddling pool
+ Green territory that they try to follow
- This is not 5*, I would give no more than 3*
- The room has shabby and broken furniture in some places, a torn mattress, mold in the bathroom, in some places there is no hidden wiring

- The restaurant (the word dining room is more suitable here) is small, the seats inside are about 50 +30 outside under umbrellas. People sometimes have to sit down at the table with others, because there are not enough seats for all.
Tables often stagger, it is better to wipe the forks / knives with a napkin before eating. Many come before the opening, because you may not have time to try something tasty
- Bar, there are not enough glass glasses, most often you will be poured into a disposable glass of 100 ml, this also applies to bottled beer. Bartenders manage to pour one bottle for 6-7 people. People rarely order less than 2 glasses. But even drinks run out quickly, the tourists quarreled with the manager more than once, this once helped to solve the situation, but the next day it was repeated.
- The staff, the bartenders are greedy, often hinted that they would be able to find the right drink in secret, but not for free, here's AI for you. Room cleaning leaves much to be desired, once they left gratitude on the bed and threw towels on the floor, in the hope that they would change us, but they were simply piled dirty on a shelf, I had to go to the reception to swear.
In general, the Egyptians often swear loudly among themselves, supposedly not noticing you, sometimes they had to distract and force you to work.
- The territory of the hotel is small, but many paths require repair, a lot of broken tiles, especially the coating near the pool should be changed, and not poured with cement. Often the view stops that the hotel has not been renovated for a long time, it's time to update a lot of things.
- Sandy beach with wooden deck chairs and mattresses, umbrellas almost everywhere, but old ones. The pontoon is short, about 30 meters, it is forbidden to walk on the corals, before high tide the water does not reach the sand.

- There are several pools, but all are not deep, 150-160 cm, in one of them there is a gate with a holey mesh and torn by a ball. There are no inscriptions about the depth of the pool anywhere, the pools themselves are not washed very well, traces of dirt on the tiles are visible. There is a shower nearby, but half of the taps are broken. Near the pool there are plastic sunbeds with mesh, some halves or have holes.
Umbrellas must be opened on their own, for 7 days none of the staff offered help, despite the fact that we have a child with us.

We did not choose this hotel, it came to us through Fortuna. By the way, it is still a mystery how they determine which hotel they will be accommodated in, there was even an incident when they told us that you were in another hotel, but still returned here. The first desire was, I wanted to move. But I did not want to pay extra $ 20 / night for another hotel, which is also not known. We decided to adapt. The room was not the worst, overlooking the sea and the amphitheater. The air conditioner in the room is ducted, with an individual remote control in the wall, it is possible that in the summer they will increase the power, but in mid-April, they fell asleep at the maximum under it, and the temperature was 28-30 during the day and 20-22 at night. The TV in the room was flat 26" but never turned on. There is a safe and fridge in the closet.
In our room there were hangers and shelves for clothes, as it turned out, when we left, we heard that in other rooms this was not the case.
There was a lot of mold in the bathroom, they apparently are not familiar with domestos. I was also annoyed by the lack of a toilet brush, apparently they have a fetish to wash off waste products after tourists. There is a hair dryer, shampoo/shower gel. The bed is large, but the mattress is very soft, torn on the side. The blanket was large but one, also torn and stained. Sockets are working, 220v, lamps near the bed and there is a night light. On the balcony there is a bedside table and broken rattan chairs.
Animation is active, but not annoying.
WiFi is free only at the reception, the speed is limited, but sometimes you can write or call relatives at home. At the reception on the tables, the dust is probably wiped off once a week, and in general the dirt is everywhere here, on the walls, in the room, in the restaurant, near the bar.

In the evening, the backlight turns on and you can go to the promenade along the embankment, although it is not long, and the guards do not let you go further. Almost every evening there is a mini disco for children, and then some competitions for adults. You can also climb the lighthouse, the view from there is beautiful, the entrance to it is near the canteen bar.
A negative experience is also an experience.
