Hello!
I hope my review will help someone make the right choice in favor of this hotel, or vice versa.
I saw Melia Sharm and Melia Sinai hotels several times, being on an info tour, as I work as a tourism manager. Outwardly, I liked Melia Sharm more, because it is newer. But, due to the longer pontoon and the higher cost of the tour, the choice fell on the neighboring Melia Sinai. Going to this hotel, you should take into account that it is not new, so you should not expect super rooms and design.
Minuses:
- rooms are outdated, but + cleaned every day, changed towels and bedding, swans twisted;

- at the reception when checking in, first everyone is given a bad room on the 1st floor right next to the animation. But, we said that this room does not suit us (we went for a relaxing holiday). Showed the second number - did not suit (there were separate beds, but we asked for a double). + On the third attempt, they gave me a room near the reception with huge ceilings, a French bed and a French balcony.
Since we are non-smokers and the balcony was unimportant, we settled on this option. Please note that no money was given.
Pros:
- at first the food was not very good, but + literally a day later, when more tourists stopped by - everything changed for the better. There was also grilled meat/fish, donuts and pancakes for dinner. For lunch we had pasta and pizza. For breakfast, they fried eggs, made waffles. There were enough fruits and vegetables, especially at dinner. The choice of sweets was small, but that's for the best - fewer temptations.
+ compact green area - very close to the sea from any building;
+ a wide line of the beach - there was always enough space for everyone, no need to humiliate yourself by taking a sunbed at 6 in the morning;
+ short pontoon, excellent coral reef; tourists from other hotels are brought to see the fish for money, while hotel guests contemplate them every day for free!
Outcome:
I take into account the price of the hotel, you need to understand that this is a simple five without frills of the price-quality category.
If you want the sea and on a budget - you are here. If you want a good room and have more money - choose Melia Sharm. And please don't compare this hotel with the Barons - the price of the Baron is 2 times higher. Willing to pay more - take Baron, Stella Di Mare, Savoy, Grand Rotana, Four Seasons, ...

And going to this hotel I can wish a positive attitude! Do not look for flaws, remember that there are 2 sides to everything.
