We rested with my husband and younger son (we extended the vacation for the child). It is strange to read the reviews of people who had a rest a few days before us. It can't be that by our arrival the staff was so fussy that the food, cleaning, and attitude were at the level (at the level of their 4 stars, of course). We paid ridiculous money for the tour (a little less than 33.000 rubles for three). They took the standard room, but when they arrived, they slightly stimulated the work of the reception with a portrait of the American president and, please, instead of the "standard" with check-in at 12 o'clock, they received "family" at 9 in the morning.
The fact that the reception and the rest of the staff do not speak Russian is true (but, guys, what the hell did you study at school if you can’t speak elementary phrases in English), but they speak many other languages ​ ​ ​ ​ (the hotel is clearly focused on Europeans not CIS countries). I am red-haired and have freckles, so very often the staff greeted me in Finnish "pyiva" (good afternoon), I calmly answered "pyiva" - such mega-globalism! )))
In general, the staff is friendly (sometimes even too much! ), There were no problems with cleaning or beach towels (there were, however, holes in them, but one puzzled look - and the "tauwelman" changed them silently).

With regards to animation and discos, the hotel is clearly not up to par, however, they organized a karaoke contest and oriental dances a couple of times, but somehow imperceptibly and modestly. But, after reading the reviews, we knew about it, and we went specifically to the place where we can observe the regime (our child goes in for sports and no one canceled his daily routine on vacation).
The food for breakfast in the restaurant is quite monotonous, everything depended on one's own imagination - that's why he and the buffet, that "his own chef"! But dinners are quite good - lamb, and beef, and fish (either small fish baked whole, or the cook will cut off a piece from a monster one and a half meters long). Near the "pots" (I don't know what they are called correctly! ) with ready-made food there are signs (of course, in English) and you can always find food for yourself without opening the lid of each. Of the meat cooked on the grill, I personally liked only the kebab, the rest was too "burned" - for an amateur. Desserts are very diverse - and ice cream, and jelly, and all sorts of cakes and pastries (+ oriental sweets). Of the fruits, indeed, only melon, dates, guava, orange and strawberries (as decoration for desserts) - but what other fruits people wanted to get in January is not clear to me.
The bus went to the beaches regularly (a kind of rural PAZik), but we always left for the beach earlier by taxi (10 eg. pounds - about 60 rubles - our taxi drivers would cry out of pity for their Egyptian brothers! ). Bus drivers easily responded to requests to take them to the exchange office or the Old Market. The hotel's beaches are quite typical for all Egyptian beaches (at first we went to the sandy one, because we decided to make sure that the child swims normally, and then to the coral one, when we realized that the child was not afraid to swim alone). The road to the coral beach type "Au" - passes by the hotel under construction and does not add positive (but this is perhaps the most negative in the entire holiday).
In short, the hotel exactly and absolutely corresponded to the declared parameters - and this ensured a normal holiday! Exactly what we wanted, we got. There will be more money - we will go to another hotel, if not - we will go to Mexico! Especially since they already know us there! )))
