The name of the hotel, which I chose from those proposed by the tour operator, is "Oriental Rivoli". This establishment has a very good location - a 15-minute drive from Sharm El Sheikh Airport, in Naama Bay and in the center of all nightlife in Sharm, at the entrance to the hotel there are Body shop, Claires, Starbucks, Macdonalds, a bank with 2 round-the-clock terminals, one of which you can exchange currency, a seafood restaurant, an Egyptian fast food chain Makani (Italian and Japanese cuisine), a 247 convenience store, a pharmacy and many souvenir shops nearby.
The hotel itself has 140 rooms, built in oriental style - small and cozy, the hotel has 2 restaurants, 2 bars, a hookah bar, 3 swimming pools (one heated), a Turkish bath-hammam and a beauty salon. Each room has air conditioning, TV (from Russian channels only the first channel), mini-bar, safe, hair dryer.
This is a plus. . .
Further on the minuses that spoil the whole impression of the hotel. . .

Upon check-in, they politely explained to me that food and water cannot be brought into the hotel, in case I didn’t understand, they showed me a sign where it was written in Russian. How to get around this rule: if you buy water, then open it and calmly bring it to the hotel; if you buy food, hide it in a beach bag. The staff does not speak Russian at all, so if you do not know English, you will have a hard time. Due to my plans to go on all excursions, I chose half board (breakfast and dinner). I can’t say almost anything about nutrition, because. because of the nightly gatherings in the bar, I was late for breakfast, and after spending a day on the beach, I did not want to have dinner. Their restaurant schedule is not very convenient - breakfast from 7 to 9, dinner from 6 to 9 (in other hotels until 10 pm). You need to buy your own water, because. it is not included in the price. From drinks for breakfast you will be offered something remotely resembling coffee and tea, for dinner - nothing at all. I brought coffee and tea bags with me, McDonald's also saved me (10 pounds for a cappuccino). On Thursdays, the hotel has a seafood dinner (from seafood I noticed only squid fries), on Fridays - Arabic cuisine and a colorful oriental show with belly dancing.
At the end of the food conveyor, there is usually a chef who puts all the most delicious, such as chicken in batter, grilled meat, 2 pieces per person.
If you are planning excursions with an early departure, you can order breakfast at the reception, this scourge package includes: 3 cheese sandwiches (from the last breakfast), sweet pastries (also dry), sun-dried tomato, cucumber and orange, so McDonald's will help you
The fan in the bathroom did not work in my room and when I first entered my room I ran into a worker who tried to replace it, I refused because I was tired of tedious flights (9 hours to Moscow, and then 4 to Sharm), he became interested what is my name, where am I from, etc. , at that time hesitated at the door, and then, apparently plucking up courage, suggested that I have sex. Naturally, I refused and complained to the representative of the Tez tour, Hasam, who explained this to the manager. In the end, they apologized to me.
Comfort rooms here are small (for one person just right) and, on top of everything else, do not have windows. Their pathetic likeness (what is covered with curtains in the photo) is not even worth mentioning. The light in the room is dim, so I had to apply makeup in the bathroom. Since the sockets here are 220 volts, you can safely bring everything you need with you (I also brought a camping iron, which came in handy for me). The first three days of my stay, water dripped from the ceiling in the bathroom, so that the entire floor was wet, I asked several times a day to fix the problem, as a result, on the fourth day I was changed the room. I advise you to first carefully inspect the room at the entrance, only then unpack your things. Also check the towels for cleanliness, because. I was slipped dirty ones several times.
The staff in the Oriental is polite, helpful, but very slow. In addition, if you are a single girl, be prepared for increased attention to your person.

The hotel is located on the second line, but, which is very convenient, you do not need to take a bus to get to the beach, it is located across the road at the Gafy Resort hotel. In Gafi, the same restrictions apply to bringing water and food. The beach has a sandy entrance, the area without corals is fenced off by buoys, I don’t know what the depth is, I didn’t swim. Nearby on the nearby beach of the Sonesta Hotel near the shore you can see corals (most likely dead) and, in addition, a lot of very beautiful fish. You can buy a mask and fins for snorkeling nearby in a souvenir shop or in shop 247 (a mask and fins cost about 20-25 Egyptian pounds), there is also an assortment of underwater cameras. Also on Gafi Beach you will be offered a variety of animation: gymnastics, aerobics, belly dancing, Latin dances. And also, I almost forgot, during your stay on the beach you will be courted by oriental beauties offering a massage session in a tent located right there (one session of Egyptian massage - $ 50.5 sessions - $ 140, I advise you to take from a Russian girl Tatyana, who can make a discount), inexpensive excursions and henna tattoos.
Also, I almost forgot, be careful when crossing the road after dark, because. no one will give way to you, and even worse, many drivers drive with their headlights off.
