We rested in Egypt, in Sharm for the third time. We go there solely for the sake of the sea and are not particularly pretentious about hotels. But this hotel just killed! It all started with "beggars" at the reception. We would have given money ourselves, because. we always give, but after inspection or change of number. And then they simply refused to accommodate us without money! No one responded to my question about inspecting the room. Well, okay, they gave 20 dollars. and we were seated immediately. The room was above the main restaurant overlooking the pool. Not bad, spacious, clean, but we wanted, as recommended on this site, a room near the main pool. The rooms were supposed to be busy. I don’t know if this is true or not, but already in the evening it became clear to us that this was good, because. all the time there is loud music playing and if you suddenly want to just lie in the room - this will not work!
Hotel service for 2!! ! Everyone stubbornly follows everything, in restaurants portions are like for small children, you can’t take water, a second glass (!! ! about 100 ml) of wine is already a lot! Everyone is dissatisfied, the water bottles are removed and hidden so that you or We, God forbid, do not drink more water!! ! Dear tourists! It's WATER!!!!!
Drinks ONLY near the main pool! In the main restaurant, only wine and beer in the evening. Pour into Coca-Cola paper cups, 150 ml. For example, beer is poured with such foam that when it shrinks, a maximum of 1/3 remains in the untouched glass!! ! Those. maximum 50-70 ml. We even caught this joke on camera!
This is probably why the Poles, Swedes and other foreign tourists poured everything into these cups! Personally, with me, one Pole took in one glass a little of EVERYTHING that was in the bar! To my smirk, he replied that it was very tasty and offered to try it! : ))) Of course, I didn't risk it.
Food is like food. Nothing special, like everywhere else, but about the portions of the dishes that they pour themselves, I have already described above. The only thing to notice, as many have already said here, is a snack on the beach. French fries and "pizza" (pieces of tortilla with small crumbs of their paper sausages), but the moment is pleasant and convenient. Also, what is good is cola, fanta, sprite and water in the same place, on the beach.
All the staff, except for the head of the main restaurant Zizo, with whom we became friends, look after everyone around so that no one takes too much or drinks. In addition, all the time allude to the money! There was a feeling that for them we were not vacationers for which the hotel actually operates, but "cash greedy cows".
The guide we had was Michael from Tez tour. Met him on the day of arrival. In total, there were about 10 people who arrived that day. He gathered us all and this is how he started, literally: "Good afternoon! Here are our excursions! You MUST go at least two, because this is our bread, and you are our guests. If you don't go, it will be bad for you! " I'm serious! When the whole group said that everyone was not the first time in charm and had already visited many excursions, he screamed really neurotic and said that WE HAVE TO! And if you were, go to another place, but the fact that you are not interested in this place is your personal problem. There was neither "how they flew", nor "how they settled", nothing! To our general questions about the hotel, food, beach. He didn't answer, didn't say anything. He only added that the hotel is very bad, there is nothing to do in it and "figure it out for yourself"! After that, on all other days he didn't even say hello! None of our group! And the day before departure, we ourselves chased him to find out the time of departure and when we would be picked up from the hotel. So none of the group managed to catch up with him. As soon as he saw that someone was heading towards him, he went to the restaurant, from it behind the reception, then somewhere else. Generally hiding in the back rooms. Well, at least he hung an ad on the board. But in connection with his attitude, I had to call our travel agency in Ukraine and clarify whether the information on our board is true. It turned out to be true : )
Beach! Everything is great here! Very beautiful, lots of big and varied fish! Everything here is 100% great!
We went on a yacht to Ras Mohammed. Don't go! We didn’t see anything new from the hotel’s beach there, except that we spent a day on a yacht, and we didn’t see anything new in the reserve itself. Moreover, one of the stops was near the "wild" beach, which we went to on foot last time and for free! : )))
In general, the hotel is categorically not recommended!..... because of the staff and attitude towards vacationers. Although the rooms and grounds are good.
