First time in Egypt and in general abroad on vacation. Traveled with my husband. We chose a hotel not very expensive, but to be good according to previous reviews. We stopped at Panorama Naama Heights.
I'll start my story from the very beginning. We flew from Kyiv. The flight was at night, at 04.00. We took off without delay (although while we were waiting for our flight, the departure of other flights in that direction was delayed for several hours. Apparently this depends on the carrier company). Well, we got on the plane, all the seats were occupied. During the flight, the flight attendants delivered food (although I didn’t like it) and drinks. We flew 3.5 hours. We landed in Sharm at 7.30, went through registration (it was necessary to fill out a registration card in English: first name, last name, where you came from), paid $ 15 for a visa to the bank and went to a representative of our tour operator (it was Pegas). We were met, put on a bus and taken to the hotel, in half an hour we were already there.
At the reception, we were offered to check in before 12.00, for which they asked for 20 dollars, bargained for 15. They gave us a room not in the new building, but in the old one, but everything was cleaned, clean, good. The guy who carried our bag (grabbed it as soon as they gave us a key card, although my husband said that he would have brought it himself) did not even take a tip.

As for food, there is a lot of it: meat of various types of cooking, fish, potatoes, rice as a side dish, there were a lot of vegetables and simply chopped, as well as in the form of salads, but we just took slices. There were always sausages, cheese, olives. There are a lot of sweets, all sorts of buns, different. Dates, persimmons, guava were given from fruits. Strawberries were sold right in the restaurant for $5, although they were $1 in the market. Nobody bought it in the restaurant.
In addition to the main restaurant, it was possible to have a bite to eat in the lobby bar on the second floor and at the pool bar.
As for the staff, we have no complaints. were friendly. The room was offered to be cleaned every day, but this was not necessary, we invited the cleaner every three days. The first time they left a dollar, then he made an elephant out of towels for us. And other times they didn’t leave money, but he still made all kinds of beauty from towels.
We rested in January, then we did not swim in the pool on site, as it was unheated and was cold. We went to the sea, where the water was warm. On the first day we took bus tickets to the sandy beach. It’s calm, the territory is large, the beach is only this hotel, there are a lot of sunbeds, so there was enough for everyone. The sea is a fairy tale: yellow sand, blue water, clean everywhere.
Then we went to another beach (coral). We got there on foot (15 minutes). There, the beach area is small, besides, vacationers from two other hotels came there, so there weren’t enough sunbeds for everyone, they lay down on the sand. But it was on this beach that we went because there is an unforgettable beauty of the underwater world: corals, fish. Be sure to take a mask with you (it is better to buy it in the Old City) and a special mask. shoes (also sold on the market, you can buy for $ 5).
As for the local population, it is mostly men who are very pestering girls. So, dear girls, if you want your vacation to go well, you should not show the slightest attention to the locals. And I do not advise you to leave the territory of the hotel alone. I was always next to my husband, and when we walked down the street, the locals stared like wild ones.

We went for a walk on Naama Bay. It is very beautiful there, especially in the evening. There are also many shops with souvenirs, but it is better to buy them in the Old Town, you can buy them cheaper there if you know how to bargain (and this should be done with all sellers).
As for excursions, we were on one - we went to Cairo for the pyramids (80 dollars per person). The tour was taken from the tour. operator, it turned out a little more expensive than if taken on the street, but more reliable. I liked everything, I advise you to go, but if you are relaxing with children, then it is better to refuse this excursion - the road is tiring (it takes 5 hours to go one way).
In general, the rest was a success, I liked everything very much, the impressions of the SEA! The hotel is good, so if you choose which hotel to go to in Sharm, then I advise Panorama Naama Heights !!!
Have a good holiday!! !
