We were at the hotel in mid-March 2018 through JOIN UP (beware of YAN AIR - the flight was postponed 4 times, the plane was old, the check engine was on, instead of 2-00 at night, they flew out at 11-00 in the afternoon, and then after blocking the road at the airport).
Hotel guests: 70% Ukraine (a little Belarusian), 25% Germans, the rest are Italians, etc.

Hotel pros:
+ chic well-groomed territory (you will live like in a bot. garden), it is clear that the owners invested sparingly (bow to the earth! ), gardeners work like bees even in the scorching sun;
+ cool live reef at the hotel!
+ many excellent pools (infinity pool / infinity - everyone is photographed against the background of the sea, relax pool - you can live near it);
+ in the Horizon bar - the guy Fadi - sincerely makes cocktails, with a smile and regardless of whether you pay or not;

+ the hotel has its own diving center - instructor Ahmed (stocky, with curly hair, others call him "Boss")) - a sincere instructor, smart and diving maniac, dive with him once on the hotel reef and then again and again you want ( we are at the hotel with him and in Tirana 3 dives with him). He worries like family, a good friend even after the dive. You can order a tour to the tyrant and dive dives directly at the dive center, bypassing the intermediaries of guides, etc.
+ 1-2 dollars were left in the room every day - the guy cleaned everything well and built those figures on the bed.

Little cons:
- not very happy workers with angry faces work at some bars: they can only make it like a cocktail and splash anything . . Especially avoid pouring Volga vodka into your cocktail (technical alcohol and the taste of darkness), it’s better based on their local rum ..
- in the neighboring areas with the hotel closer to the beach, construction is underway, especially in the afternoon and in the evening Caterpillars work with jackhammers - noise even in the evening and blows fuel oil with a solarium. Also, buildings are lying near the wall of the hotel from the side of Sharm Plaza - dust flies to the slides in the hotel and the noise of swotting interferes.
- The food is tolerable, but not very diverse. Even in the main restaurant they bring wine or beer if you ask several times or "feed" (the Germans sit with rows of glasses and pay extra cash to the waiters))).
- on slides 1 of 3 does not work (white, marked on the photo);
- in the Jacuzzi area is being renovated - not working...

Minus and attention when checking in: at the reception there is Ahmed, short with frizzy hair, who settles vacationers from Ukraine in the most distant buildings (6 ... , 7 .... ), from which it takes 15 minutes to walk to the sea / restaurant or wait for the bus according to the schedule, at the same time the Germans settle at the relax pool and closer.

We have a tour operator paid extra for 50 dollars. for a superior room (the operator guaranteed accommodation in rooms closer to the sea and restaurants in rooms with building numbers 1.... , 2... , 3.... ). Ahmed at the counter doesn't care - Ukraine? in the 7th building! When he began to protest and argue, he grabs a number, runs away, saying that the superior is in the 7th building and he knows better here! After a while, with his psychos, he settled in 112 ...with access to the construction site of a neighboring hotel (they were laying down the building).

At the hotel, next to the guide with a rope from the Join UP tour operator, a lady is spinning around her neck, luring everyone to a trip to MODA SHOW (a Turkish leather jacket store, etc. ). We were not going to go there, but when the guide was asked about transport to the old city, this lady was right there - "let me take you, just go to the MODA SHOW for 5 minutes. please, they will tick the box for me, and then the driver will take you to the old city ...
We agreed and ...regretted it 1000 times. Razvodnyak from the 90s with the announcement of prices under 900 dollars.
for a jacket and then all the methods of processing NLP with "blackmail and they say we won't let you out, oh let's bring everything to your room, they say we agreed (although there was no consent from us), oh give a private card and pay for it ... ". And of course, no one even told the driver to drive to the old city later. And when this lady in the hotel was told they say why these swings are with deceit, she still smiles and the answer is "well, the east ...and moo mu mu .. ".
Do not get fooled by these bred and for the sake of her personal benefit and "tick" do not even waste your time and money.
From the hotel $ 5 taxi - will take you anywhere (do not overpay, otherwise they will break 10 bucks or more at first).

But all these small minuses are nothing compared to the most beautiful LIVING reef and the breathtaking well-groomed territory of the hotel.
Moreover, almost all the disadvantages can be solved:
1) when checking in, do not settle for distant buildings (print out the hotel plan with the room numbers in the buildings with a photo, attached to the review), do not be fooled by the pressure of this greased Ahmed behind the counter;
2) if you don’t like something, say it right away: a bad cocktail - return it to the bartender, change it and make it normal, choose a good bartender and order from him))), I advise Fadi.

3) you need internet - take a 4 GB card for $ 5 or 8 GB for $ 10 from the Egyptian operator VODAPHONE 4G at the exit from the airport. (do not buy from guides - you will overpay twice);
4) do not fly YAN AIR! Constant flight delays and breakdowns - you don't need to.. .
