We returned the day before yesterday from our first trip to Egypt, so while memories are fresh in my memory, I would like to share my impressions of the Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort & Spa in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
To begin with, we took a chance and bought a ticket to Join Up! because only this tour operator cooperated with Ukraine with this hotel. We took a risk, but we were assured that the summer hype had already subsided and the direction of Egypt for Join Up was never a problem. And we believed
Departure from Ukraine was practically not delayed (30 minutes is not a delay, I think; ) - also the departure from Egypt went without problems, though with a delay of 1 hour.
Upon arrival in Egypt and, after passing through all the paperwork at the airport, we were met by a representative of the tour operator, who escorted us to the bus for transfer to the hotel. We drove from the airport for about 15 minutes, so the road did not tire adults or children at all.

We arrived at 19:30 local time and at the reception we were immediately registered and put on bracelets so that we could go to dinner. After dinner, we were expected to be escorted to our room, along with our luggage, which had been waiting for us all this time.
We purchased a room for 2 adults + 1 child, as our youngest, who is 1 year 11 months old, sleeps with his parents. We were informed at the reception that the hotel is raising the level of rooms and we are offered a family room, which consists of 2 rooms: one with sliding beds and its own bathroom, TV, wardrobe, refrigerator, the second is the largest: with a large double bed, TV , refrigerator, safe, bathroom, toilet, etc. We were looking for a catch, it seemed to us that the room was not clean enough, we wanted to look at the others, but we were assured that the other rooms were the same, but not family rooms, and if we wanted, we could point out the shortcomings to the cleaners and they would eliminate them. And so they did - which they absolutely did not regret, because. comfortable accommodation with two children requires the availability of full-fledged beds for each of the family, and not folding beds, as some hotels offer. What to say about a separate room for children and bathrooms; )
The room had a veranda that overlooked the front garden - but it's always hot there, so you can't sit there with a glass of wine in the evening; ) It was used as a clothes dryer))
Our accommodation turned out to be very convenient near the central building, the descent to the pools and beaches, not far from the dining room and bars. This is important, because the territory is very large and if you have small children, then you don’t really have to be with a stroller in the heat; )
Swimming pools - there are two on the territory between the residential buildings, one with slides and a children's animation center with a playground (town / cars / etc. ), the remaining pools (2) near the main building where everyone hangs out, because. very beautiful view of the sea ; ) Near each pool there is a bar where they drink beer and cocktails, serve snacks (pizza, fries, salads, burgers, etc. ) between main meals.

The food turned out to be normal, although I was afraid, because I had heard enough stories about the specific Egyptian cuisine in hotels. There is something for every taste. Everything is delicious - everything is interesting! But, the assortment is smaller than we saw, for example, in Turkey, but no one ever went hungry. I am not a fan of coming and judging the assortment, saying why there are 40 dishes available, and not 80, as was thought for All Inclusive. So - the most important thing for me was that the health of the children would not be undermined because of the kitchen - and everything went well)) The youngest 1 year 11 months went full and happy)) fruit / milk porridge / boiled vegetables / side dish in the form of rice with butter (without spices) / stewed fish, fried / pancakes / soups, etc. What to say about the eldest, who is 9 years old and he chose his own menu; ))
Juices diluted is not very good for children, but to do. There is Sprite, Coca-Cola, etc.
There is no Wi-Fi on the territory, there is locally - only at the reception, only in the lounge areas. But you can take a break from work and social networks; )
In the evening at 20:30 there is a children's disco, after which there is an adult disco, so you won't be bored))
There is an elevator to the beach, which is convenient. The beach is large enough, there is a bar. For children there are 3 "windows" cleared in the sea with sand and separated from corals by buoys - so corals are not needed for kids. Yes, in fact, the rest don’t need them either, so it’s forbidden to walk on corals there, the beach patrol keeps a good watch; ) and whistles if anyone forgets about it. Near the children's beaches, the coral reef is a whole strip, so you can see them and see the fish, but standing behind the strip of buoys, and if you want to swim, in the direction of the panton, from which everyone dives with masks and swims along the coast enjoying the fauna of the Red Sea.
The sea is great! It's just an aquarium with such colorful fish and corals. Our advice - buy yourself a good diving mask, so that you don’t just climb out of the water for the whole vacation and look at this miracle of nature at arm’s length!!!
We liked everything and we would return to this hotel again! The staff is friendly and smiling. We had no misunderstandings with them)) We advise you to come here for new emotions and memories!
