Our 10th anniversary vacation in Egypt, with the help of the girls from the AZAMARA-travel travel agency, we decided to spend at the Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort 5 *, and did not regret it at all.
We liked everything here! Attitude in vacationers, territory, rooms, reef. I don’t understand those who leave negative reviews at all, and I just want to ask: how much did you pay for them?
And some details.
Vacationing with my husband.
1. We arrived at about 4 am, they quickly put bracelets on us and said that we can use all the bars and restaurants (yeah, at 4 am, that’s it))). They asked to settle quickly, but they said that it was impossible, even for money. At 9 am they issued towel cards and we went to the beach. We settled at 11-00 without any extra charge in building number 2, very close to the sea and the reception. Even if you are settled further away, it’s not scary, then the territory constantly runs taf-taf.

Room 1217 is wonderful, on the 2nd floor, with high ceilings, a huge bed, 40-inch plasma. Cleaning was every day, towels were changed, 2 one and a half liter bottles of water were left every day. All electrical appliances worked properly. Hot water all day, toiletries replenished regularly. There is a bidet, no shower, but the shower area is separated by a partition. Tea and coffee set in the room, coffee and tea replenished daily. There were small problems with the flow of water into the toilet bowl and the noise of the air conditioner, after a request to the reception, everything was resolved before we returned from the beach.
2. Food without any frills, but varied. Beef, chicken, fish in different variations. A couple of times there were crabs and octopuses. Pleased with fruit abundance: oranges, pomegranates, guava, pears, plums, apples, dates of varying degrees of maturity and figs. The pastries were varied, but we only took pancakes for breakfast. From alcoholic drinks - local beer, rum, whiskey, white and red wine. Bartenders are not greedy - how many times you come up, they pour so much. Beer at the beach bar is poured from kegs into plastic 100 g cups. We were ready for this, so we took larger glasses with us. Since we are lovers of beer with a snack, we also took it from home.
3. The territory is large, beautiful, green, well-groomed. Gorgeous infinity pool that everyone knows about. Many photo zones, just a paradise for instagrammers!
4. The beach is huge, you can find a free place at any time of the day. The pontoon is very short, with comfortable steps for entering the sea. And here I would like to make a digression for the “yazhemas”, who have “they have children”. This hotel is child-friendly and has chic small coves with sand. If you want to teach your child to swim - do it there, or in the children's pool. Instead of dragging a child with a circle to the steps of the pontoon, where you create a queue for all the vacationers.
And one more free tip for everyone who flies to Egypt. Well, if you found a piece of bucks for a ticket, look for another 50, buy a mask with fins - and enjoy the beauty of the Red Sea!! ! They are located to the left and right of the pontoon, and not deep into the sea, where many people try to swim away, but hear the whistles of the guards. Free scuba diving for 5 minutes is every day at 10-30 from the pontoon. You need to contact the dive club. The reef is not to say that chic, but very much alive!! ! I managed to swim with a turtle, a bald eagle, a huge moray eel, and even stroke the Napoleon.

5. Shopping. Here is an ambush! Outside the hotel is a solid desert, so you have to take a taxi to any shopping location. We were not going to shop much, so we combined a trip to the Oldmarket with an excursion with parasailing flights.
6. We didn’t take excursions from the hotel guide, we ordered them at home on Instagram. We went to the monastery of St. Catherine for 48 bucks instead of 100 if we took it from a guide.
7. The Internet is, but very weak. We bought a local card already at the hotel, there is a small type of shopping arcade there. 4.5 Gig cost 12 bucks, they sold it at the airport for 10, but I don’t know how many gigs there are.
If anyone has any questions, I will answer.
In general, we had a nice rest, which we wish everyone!! !
