Advantages "+":
+ unrealistically cool, bewitching, lively, diverse underwater world (many, VERY MANY different types of fish, you can also see a stingray), a beautiful coral reef;
+ a huge green well-groomed territory of the hotel (there was even a location with a stream in the middle of the hotel);
+ unrealistically many beautiful locations for a photo shoot;
+ close to the airport, Old Town (15 km), Naama Bay, Soho city (5 km);
+ no bracelets;
+ upon arrival before check-in, you can walk around the territory, eat in the dining room, take drinks at the bar, swim in the sea and in the pool. Be sure to put things for the sea on top of your suitcase or in hand luggage and change either in the toilet near the reception or on the beach (there is a changing room on the right). And bring a beach towel with you, because beach towels will be in the room;

+ we arrived at 5 something, we were settled in the room at 11:00 without additional payments and scandals (although they said to come to 12:00 at the reception);
+ after check-out from the room, you can eat in the dining room, take drinks at the bar, swim in the sea and in the pool, walk around the territory;
+ pleasant service staff, always friendly and smiling (there were no "beggars" in the hotel who asked for $ 1);
+ unrealistically cool and incendiary animation (yoga, aqua aerobics by the pools in the morning and afternoon; and dances, various contests, foam parties by the beach; + only Russian-language and English-language popular pop music plays (there were even Morgenstern tracks);
+ the evening show program on the territory of the hotel is very incendiary (if you want to continue hanging out after the evening program = for $ 20 you are taken to the club. The price includes a round-trip transfer, 1 free cocktail. You walk there until 2 am);
+ there are 3 slides for adults;
+ there are 3 entry into the sea: 2 children's shallow just above the knee; 3rd from the pontoon, the pontoon is small 10-15 meters and you are already swimming at a depth of 7 meters;
+ even if you are settled in the farthest room, every 5 minutes (sometimes faster) on the territory of the hotel from 7:00 to 22:00 there is a Taf-Taf (minibus), which will take you to the reception in 2 minutes, then a maximum of 5 minutes you will reach the beach, an elevator will bring you down to the beach;
+ sun loungers are always enough everywhere;
+ in the dining room there are always enough chairs for everyone;

+ if you didn’t make it to the dining room (breakfast 7:00-10:00, lunch 12:30-15:00, dinner 18:30-21:30), you won’t stay hungry! There are 2 bars with food (the first one on the beach with pizza, fries, etc. 11:00-17:00 is open, the second near the farthest building by the pool with slides: a bar with steak burgers, fries, salads, fruits etc. 11:00-17:00). Drinks are always and everywhere: there are about 6 bars and there you can take water, tea, coffee, alcoholic / non-alcoholic. cocktails, carbonated sweet drinks, alcohol - all for free. One of the bars has ice cream, they change the taste of ice cream every day;
+ there is an opportunity to visit a paid restaurant on site for free 1 time;
+ in our standard room there was a plasma TV (you can download movies to a USB flash drive and watch on TV). There were about 100 channels, of which 10 were Russian and Ukrainian. The first channel is full information about the hotel;
+ Wi-Fi worked in our room 7221 (only if you do not access the Internet for more than 5 minutes, you need to reconnect), it also works on the territory of the hotel in several places;
+ very tasty cakes and sweets in the dining room;
+ our room had a terrace, but it was very hot outside (about 40 degrees during the day and 30 in the evening), we practically did not open the door to the terrace, but constantly cooled the room with an air conditioner, which cooled the room very well and quickly;
+ there is room cleaning, but every other day; There are always 2 bottles of 1.5 l of water for 2 of them, there was tea, coffee, sugar, brown sugar, a kettle, disposable coffee / tea sticks, disposable tea cups, ordinary cups for tea, coffee and water in the room (in the bedside table below ), safe, hangers, hair dryer, toiletries (shampoo, gel, body cream, soap are always in abundance and even more), mini fridge, but empty, shower towels, beach towels, hot water is always available;
+ the guy who cleaned our room always tried to help us if something was wrong in the room;
+ for a long excursion they give dry rations and water to each person;
+ pleasant waiters who bring you drinks themselves, we especially liked one of the waiters, who always remembered what we were drinking and could even bring us a lot of drinks (about 8 glasses) without asking, quickly removed dirty dishes from the tables and was generally very positive, friendly and unobtrusive! )))) Many thanks to him, however, unfortunately, we don’t remember his name ((((
Disadvantages "-"

- the room is not bad, but the furniture in it is a little shabby. On the first day, thanks to the guy who cleaned, he changed the mini fridge for us, because the door was broken there; and the next day, the master tightened the screw in the cabinet door, because the door fell off the top of the cabinet, and its upper part also fell off a little in the wall-mounted remote control from the air conditioner, but we did not repair it. When checking out from the room for all this, no one asked to pay anything. But when you check in, be sure to inspect everything, turn it on and off and IMMEDIATELY tell them to fix or change the breakdown;
— the food is not super-duper mega tasty, but not bad either. There is plenty to choose from, you definitely won't go hungry!
- Wi-Fi is not everywhere, it is better to buy a SIM card at the airport.
Excursions (visas are not required for these excursions):
1. City of Soho ($5 per person, 5 km from the hotel) - so-so. There are just a lot of garlands on palm trees and Egyptian shops, as if garlands were taken from all our Christmas trees and placed in this small town, which is no larger than the Reef Oasis Blue Bay hotel itself. This whole "city" (if you can call it that) consists entirely of souvenir shops (which are not so cheap) and restaurants. There is also a fountain that turns on every hour for 10 minutes with music and lighting - so-so, it is very small and there is nothing unusual there, in Kyiv on Poshtova is the same fountain.
2. All in one (there were 40 people on the bus, ONLY on the yacht you are divided into 2 groups of 20 people; $ 75 per person: round-trip transfer, quad bikes, camel rides, Egyptian souvenir "supermarket", yacht with their snack -lunch, diving 5-10 min. ) - not really. At 6:30 you are picked up by a bus in which the toilet is inoperative and while you collect all the tourists from the rest of the hotels, you drive for about 3 hours to a very poor (killed) "cafe" in the middle of the desert, where people from other excursions still gather to have a bite to eat there with your food, which the hotel should give you (we had a bag of buns in which there was either nothing, or 1 piece of small cheese or 1 wedge of sausage, an apple and a mini banana each, 1 yogurt for two without a spoon, a bottle of water for 0 5 each), or you buy something there for a snack in a cafe, but I would not advise buying anything other than water.

Also on this tour, your bus (namely, a bus, only a bus! ) Is accompanied by 1 police car with 1 policeman. Then go to a diving shop, where you take masks with snorkels, fins for free, and if you want to rent an individual diving suit for $ 10, or then use 1 common diving suit for your entire group in turn. And by 11:00, after all the stops and briefings, you are put on ATVs where all 40 people eat in the unbearable heat of +40, terribly beaten road and terribly slowly. After 30 minutes, you are brought to a again killed place where you either lie on carpets on the ground with dusty hard pillows and if you want you can buy water for $ 1 in a shop, or walk up somewhere else to the mountain (I felt bad, I didn’t climb there, I don't know. ) It all takes 10 minutes and you get on the ATVs and go back, back a little faster to get to the bus.
Then you again go to a dead poor place under a rag cover, where they give you tea from stacks of +40 degrees heat to drink, and then they want to sell it to you for $10 or $20. You stay in the same dead old place and wait until all 10 people ride camels for 10 minutes (30 people out of 40 rode; we didn’t ride, because I felt bad and sorry for these unfortunate animals). While the others are riding, kids are pestering you and trying to sell their bracelets for $1. I would just give $1 to help them if a 10 year old child didn't hit me in the face (since I was sitting on the carpet on the floor) with this bracelet so that I would buy it from her. In general, the mood finally deteriorated. You can't even look in your bag, they all run up to you and ask for a dollar.
Then take the bus to the "supermarket" (there should have been a yacht, but we were told that it was delayed). This is not a supermarket, these are stalls with sweets, bracelets, soda, ice cream, an Egyptian perfume shop where you sit on chairs and you listen to a presentation about perfume, a souvenir shop and in the same shop on the second floor a toilet, and a shop with masks for diving, pareo and other for the sea. Buy in this "supermarket" if you like something, because in the hotel and Soho everything is much more expensive!!!!!!!! ! For example, a diving mask in a supermarket is $13, and in Soho it is $30! Perfume too! Then go to the yacht, where you need to take all your documents and money from the bus. You are divided into 2 groups of 20 people. Swimwear you put on in the toilet on the yacht, then eat their food, which is the most ordinary without any seafood, sweets and other goodies! Meat, rice, orange and cabbage salad.
By the way, you will then need to pay for this food at the end of the trip on the yacht (there will be a cook with a box to each one and ask to donate how much you don’t mind, the guide will also tell you a presentation about him, how he tried to cook everything for you). There will be 2 stops first with diving for 5-10 minutes and underwater photos (about 9 photos and 1 video - $15 per person). There are 2 divers, while you wait as everyone dives, you will just swim in the sea. There will be 2 more yachts next to you: the second with your 20 people and the 3rd with some other tourists or Arabs. The second stop is just to swim 15 minutes. To be honest, the underwater world at the hotel is much more diverse than on a yacht. Do not spend money on a yacht, especially under the scorching sun there will be half of the tourists on one side of the yacht + a strong wind that blows off caps and documents that you will sign there.

Insurance will not work at all, because the documents that you sign will insure them. In case something happens to you, it's not their fault. And all the time you will have a photographer with you, who at the end will ask (directly demand) $ 20 per photo. No need to take a picture, he will pull you by the hand, if you do not want to pay - do not go to take a picture! At the end of the trip, you will be given a questionnaire in which you must indicate your name, surname, hotel and room number and rate the tour and the guide. At 17:00 you will already be on the bus. And while you get there and everyone is taken to their hotels, you will not get to your hotel until 18:30-19:00. In short, wasted money and nerves!
In general, I recommend the hotel, it is very cool despite a few minor drawbacks! )))
I absolutely do not recommend these 2 excursions !!!!!!!!!
P. S. Be kind to the staff of this hotel. In fact, not everyone there is arrogant and does nothing without $ 1, you don’t need to generalize everyone and treats everyone with disdain and disdain! Find on the Internet what the average earnings of Egyptians per month ($ 150! ). Of course you are not obligated to provide them with money and pay for them, but at least you can treat them with respect or the way they treat you, because in this hotel the vast majority of the staff were quite friendly and helpful! In any case, do not start a quarrel from scratch, be a little wiser).
