Good day everyone! Just returned from this hotel. Rested there from 14.02 to 21.02. 2013, a young married couple, with a child of 6 years. We were in Egypt for the 4th time, so there is something to compare with. So everything is in order:
1) Check-in: we checked in quickly - we arrived at the hotel at about 10.00, went for breakfast and at 11.30 we were given cards and taken to the room in an electric car. (although on the way from the airport, the guide from PEGASA said that check-in at this hotel (as in other hotels) takes place after 14.00.
2) Number: the number was given in the second building, not far from the reception (near the amphitheater). If you are traveling with small children, it is better to ask away from the amphitheater, there every day until 22.30 performances of animators, it is unrealistic to fall asleep. It was a little stressful. The room is large and spacious. The furniture is not new, but quite decent. Everything worked without problems - safe, TV (4 Russian channels), refrigerator (minibar), plumbing. They cleaned every day, cleaning was normal, they also twisted crocodiles, swans and other things out of towels (they left a $ 1 tip);

3) Territory: Huge, clean and well maintained, very beautiful, lots of greenery. A hotel bus for tourists runs around the territory. There are several pools, one of them is heated (with a beautiful view of the sea), as well as a pool with slides (which is currently under renovation and, judging by the work that is being done there, will not work soon).
4) Beach and sea: The beach is large sandy, there were always enough free sunbeds, towels are issued on the beach and near the pools. Cards for towels are not given, so you can take them (towels) as much as you like, as well as several times a day. There is a pontoon, as well as separately three small bays (cleaned of corals), with a sandy entrance to the sea for bathing children. A large coral reef, with many beautiful corals, for some reason there were not very many fish.
5) Vacationers: Russians and Ukrainians - 25-30%, the rest of the Europeans - Germans, Italians, British, French, etc. , mostly married couples with children and elderly couples.
6) Service staff: 99% - very welcoming and friendly, everyone smiles and tries to serve normally - be it in a restaurant, bar, on the beach. It was not a pity to leave a tip to the waiters, which we did. As far as we know that the owner of the hotel is a European, there are also Europeans among the staff (mostly managers), hence the culture and good manners of almost all workers. Of course, there were also individual "examples", which, although not clearly, showed their negative attitude towards us. One more thing: no matter what anyone says, the attitude towards us (Russians, Ukrainians) is slightly different (worse) than towards Europeans. It was sickening to watch how the waiters run to the Germans or the British who have just entered and, sorry, climb into their ass without soap, while enjoying it, and it was all the time... FU...

7) What was disappointing was the food. I will say right away that we have never been hungry, it should also be noted that the food was always fresh and there were no stomach problems. But the buffet in the main 2 restaurants was so monotonous that everything became boring after 3 days. The same dishes every day (all one to one), and their range is not very large. Previously, before this hotel, in Egypt there were two fives and one 4 *, and the food in all there was much more diverse. From alcohol they drank beer and wine (red, pink, white). I want to note that the wine is not quite bad (compared to what we tried before in Egypt in other hotels). There are also three a la carte restaurants - French (completely for an additional fee), Italian (all inclusive + some dishes for an additional fee), fish (all inclusive + dishes for an additional fee). You can go there at least every day, but only by appointment. We were in the fish, celebrated my wife's birthday, we liked everything, incl. congratulations from the staff, as usual with a cake and the traditional "Happy birthday to you. " There is also a pub bar where you can watch football with a glass of beer or something stronger, a Caribbean bar (like a disco, but there are not many people there), as well as the so-called "oriental cafe" - a few tables on the street where you can relax with oriental music - smoke a hookah, drink a cup of coffee or tea (for a symbolic additional fee)
8) Animation - C grade.
9) Conclusion: the hotel is good, but not for the price. It is clearly overpriced. Maybe due to the fact that mostly Europeans rest here, respectively, and the price for it is European (they don’t care how much to pay anyway). And for our (Russian people) you can find a hotel one and a half times cheaper and no worse. Of course, IMHO.
