We were promised a lot, but the reality turned out to be much cooler)))
Let's start from the beginning - this is our arrival. The type who brought us the bag demanded impudent money, all the time he said that he brought us to the cool room and give us money. While he demanded money from us, my sister took the bag to her room herself)))) We were in Egypt 4 times and the first time we encountered this))) When I said that no mani, he began to shout in his own language and spit on us )))) The room was with a beautiful view and that's all))) The water in the shower did not flow out, while you are swimming, it just stood ankle-deep and then flowed out for an hour. We spoke more than once to the reception, but no response. The husband himself cleaned the drain and changed the drain ring, everything worked. The hair dryer did not work, only 5 digits worked in the safe, the bed was only for two of us, there were three of us)) On the third day they brought the bed. Shampoo and shower gel, too, only for two and brought every three days)) soap every day a piece))) did not sweep or vacuum, did not remove the trash from the basket. But as we understood, we were lucky, because in the next room there were ants in the sink and large cockroaches, which were periodically poisoned with kerosene !!! ! The smell is simply terrible, all things smelled of kerosene.
Now the beach)))) It simply does not exist. What is in front, so to speak, is called a beach for children))) when there is a tide, it is still tolerable, you can feed the fish and sit in small lagoons, but be careful as there are a lot of hedgehogs and very sharp corals. We immediately bought special shoes and walked only in them. But when the tide is out, there is no water at all, there is somewhere where you can look, but you can’t swim at all))) You can swim in the sea from a pontoon, but it’s 15 meters right there and you can’t take children, mostly they swim with masks and look at sea fish. Until 12.00, a red flag is always hanging, you can’t swim, then it is changed to yellow and everyone is in the sea. For the underwater world 5+))) We swam on a bathyscaphe and did not see such beautiful fish there as near the hotel. Right in the shallow water on the beach you can see moray eels, lionfish and octopus, many beautiful big fish come when you feed them. There are a lot of sea urchins and sea lilies. You get pleasure not from swimming, but from studying the marine abodes)) We went with a child of 6 years old and he never swam on the shore. But we took him to the depths, wrote a receipt and swam with him with masks.
About food. Breakfast is the same type, but what struck me was that there was no butter and chocolate at all. Lots of baking, but it is not needed as there is no butter. There are pancakes and donuts, they can be poured either with chalk or jams from large jars. There are eggs, scrambled eggs, local sausage stew is not very edible)) there are cereals and delicious local yoghurts. Feta cheese is very tasty and irreplaceable for breakfast))) Lots of pastries such as charlottes, pies and puff pastries)) Coffee, teas and juices)) Lunch, there is always meat, fish and chicken. Delicious mashed soups, vegetables, pastries and much more))) Dinner is always delicious and there were always masterpieces from chefs, pastries were amazing)) There was always lamb, beef, chicken, fish, often grilled crabs and seafood stew. The garnish was always varied)) Fruits were mostly melon, dates, orange, sometimes watermelon, pear, figs, grapes and pomegranate were given. For lunch and dinner 5+)))
Territory)) Everything is always clean, beautiful and everything is in bloom)) Gardeners make beauty day and night)))) but......... they water all this beauty in the evening and with water from the septic tanks after use from the shower, supposedly filtered , but near the fifth building after 12 at night when watering, you can hear the smell of sewerage. We lived in the third building where there was no sewer smell, but there was a smell of stagnant water. There was a flea in the grass that was very biting if you didn't use the spray. We booked a photo session at the hotel, we wanted a photo on the grass, but the local photographer said that you don’t need to sit on the grass for a long time, as the flea can bite hard, and really my legs were bitten badly since I was barefoot and barefoot. So it's better to take mosquito and other misfortune sprays with you.
Separately, I want to say about Anex-Tour)) Everything is very expensive, they tell one thing but the reality is completely different, they took a tour to Cairo, an all-inclusive yacht and Jerusalem. They paid a lot, they promised that there would be a good separate room in Cairo, and it was, only with dirty bedding on which tourists had obviously slept more than once, it’s good that we took our blanket and there was an inflatable pillow for sleeping. Fell on it. The food was disgusting, tourists from Kyiv instead of pyramids the next day had severe poisoning and their pyramids were not at all pleasing)) I understand that the country is like that and all that, but if you want tourists to come to you, make the arrival in your country more pleasant for travel to Cairo. At the end they said that you need to tip the driver. It was the same with the yacht. The bathyscaphe is a completely different story, no beauty of the underwater world, everything is gray, beauty is not visible due to dust, there are no big fish and the promised blue and red corals, but we were not upset because near the hotel we have beautiful fish and colorful corals, both pink and blue and red)) I liked the trip on the yacht itself, but what’s not clear is when it’s time to scuba dive, we were given a paper in which you must write that if something happens to you, then you yourself are to blame for everything and the insurance is not valid and insurance does not cover water travel. They fed well, showed the dolphins, at the end they also said about a tip for the yacht crew)) For a minute we paid $ 330 for this, what a tip))) When we asked for a discount, they told us everything is fixed and the main thing is insurance for us, but in fact there is no insurance No!!!! ! We asked how much such a tour costs from the agency on the beach of the hotel, it turned out to be $ 190. The same bathyscaphe, the same dolphins, food and diving))) Everything is the same only much cheaper, but as my husband told me without a sucker and life is bad))) This is the whole of Egypt)))
