Good day to all! We arrived from Sharm a week ago. We stayed at the hotel from April 4th to April 15th. I thought I would write a review later, but when I went to the hotel page and read the latest reviews, I decided not to put it off. I am for justice!
Always, before choosing another hotel for a holiday, I read reviews on this site! I analyze them and make a decision. Let me start by saying that this is not the first time we have rested in Sharm. Were in different hotels, both good and not very (thanks to false reviews, by the way! ). And never once did I have the thought of returning twice to the hotel in which we had already been. Our principle is this! Let it be one region of Egypt, but the areas of Sharm and hotels should be different. But in
Rehana I would come back!! ! And now about everything in order.
ARRIVAL: We arrived with my husband and a child (10 years old) at Ophir airport at 19.00 local time, tired and hungry. Tour operator Aneks-tour.

Everything is as usual: paperwork, suitcases, a bus and waiting for two "lost sheep" for 40 minutes. This is the standard situation! But the mood was raised by the fact that our hotel was the first on the route and after 10 minutes we were already at the reception. We immediately put on bracelets and began to settle. I want to note that half a huge bus came with us to such a "bad hotel"! We realized that the settlement could be delayed. We approached the manager, left the documents and a chocolate bar that my son didn’t eat on the way, asked me to give a room not on the first floor and overlooking at least the garden and, if possible, at least a small piece of the sea. (our ticket did not include a sea view from the room). We turned around and went to eat. We were hungry and didn't really care for food. But oh no later. When we returned to the reception: Oh miracle! We were given a key, cards for towels and were told that our things were already in the room.
With a sinking heart, I was waiting for a meeting with the number where I was to spend the next 11 nights. 5 building. 2nd floor. number 5101. Found!
NUMBER: Come on! We knew the hotel was old. I understood what rooms in old hotels in Egypt are like. But you can't imagine the full extent of my surprise when we went into an almost perfectly clean room, where the furniture was not new, but in excellent condition. Comfortable beds, snow-white, NATURAL bedding, white, fluffy, not shabby towels, a working safe and refrigerator, a large TV, a kettle, a tea set, water, etc. I was pleasantly surprised by a shower with a working hydromassage. Started to turn on the air conditioner, but it does not work !!! ! My husband is in shock, I am hysterical. The heat is incredible. We understand that we will not survive the night. Went to reception and explained the problem. We didn't want to move. The manager said - 5 minutes. We went back to our room and started unpacking our suitcases. And, oh miracle!
After 5-7 minutes, a smiling electrician really came running, did something in the shield, then ran out, returned a minute later and turned on the air conditioner. I want to say that the air conditioning system in the hotel is not shared, but individual, which is a big plus. You turn on the air conditioner when you need it and at the temperature you need. When leaving, the electrician asked if everything suits us and did not even try to get a "baksheesh"! This really surprised us! When we went out onto the balcony, my happiness knew no bounds! We had a view of the garden, the pool and...the sea!!!! ! Chocolate, a smile and a normal human request - work wonders! I also want to note that all the "standard" rooms in the hotel are designed for 2 people. We were 2+1. We called the reception and while we were taking a shower and changing clothes, a nimble boy ran up and put an extra bed (comfortable, no worse than the standard one), made linen and brought an extra set of towels for the child.

And we are satisfied went to see the hotel.
HOTEL TERRITORY: Since we arrived in the evening and it was already dark, we immediately just walked along the alleys and came to the "food court". Interesting place, I will write about it later. We sat, drank a couple of "drinks" and went to rest. Waking up in the morning, I ran to the balcony and was delighted to appreciate the view, the beauty and the scale of the hotel. Lots of greenery. Everything is in flowers. Well groomed, trimmed, clean. Not a single dry blade of grass. The location of the building was very convenient. There are restaurants nearby and a food court. Close to reception. And the sea is not far away. Evening shows could be watched sitting on the balcony. But we always went to them! It was very fun and interesting! There were several pools next to the building, very convenient if you like to swim in the morning. Also, between our building and the reception was a new large water park. There are only 2 in the hotel.
One, near the food court is not so "dark", more for children, but not small ones. And the second is really for thrill-seekers. In total, we counted 9 pools on the territory of the hotel. Different sizes with different depths. Everywhere there are sun loungers, and umbrellas, and tables. Everything is in very good condition. But I must say right away that we did not bypass the entire territory. She's big! She's very beautiful!!!!
BEACH: This is where it started! After breakfast we went to look for the SEA! : ) Found! We were glad that the pontoon was quite short (whoever had a rest at least once in the Nabq area will understand what is at stake). The boys grabbed the masks and there. And there is a red flag! Everyone's mood went downhill. I was crying before lunch as we go to Sharm for the sea. But then the morning animation began, the bar opened and everyone decided not to spoil their vacation and try to get the most positive out of the situation. And after lunch, the red flag was removed. And everyone enjoyed swimming and contemplating the beauty of the Red Sea.

The reef is good (of course it's not Sharks Bay), but there is something to see! There are a lot of fish. For every taste and color! I want to say that we spent about 40 minutes on the beach itself. Then we decided to return to the main pool, which is by the sea and spent all the time there. Now I will explain why. On the beach, the sunbeds are old but with thick mattresses, it’s comfortable to sleep, but you can’t! You can burn easily and quickly. There is a bar on the beach, but it is scarce and not conveniently located. The beach is big and wide enough. Accordingly, you can land in a place from which you will need to go as much to the pontoon as from the main pool. The pool bar is good and animation. That is why we constantly took places by the pool and spent the whole day there. I also want to note that you can enter the sea not only from the pontoon, but also from the shore. Moreover, at high tide there is quite a decent depth. Both children and adults splashed around, even swimming with masks.
It was possible to see different "living creatures" close up : ) During our stay, there was only once a strong ebb, when the water from the plateau was almost completely gone. A feature of the Nabq region are strong winds in winter and moderate in the rest of the year. That is why in the morning the sea, as a rule, is quite stormy. You can not swim from the pontoon, Only from the shore. There were days when the red flag hung until 13.00 and sometimes the pontoon was open from the very morning. It's a lottery! You can't guess if you're lucky with the weather or not. There are such storms in Hadab that you won’t go into the water!
HOTEL ATMOSPHERE: I adhere to the principle: no matter where you go, it is important with what mood! The first day of our holiday, the impression of the hotel was rather negative than vice versa. But in the evening we met fellow countrymen from the Dnieper, who came to this hotel for the second time and for 21 days! It made us think about our first impression of the hotel!
They told us everything, showed us, explained all the subtleties of the nuances. And the rest turned into a solid POSITIVE! The staff at the hotel is good, helpful, friendly! With many of us leaving we said goodbye and cried. The owner of the hotel loves his "brainchild", constantly on the territory. He walks and keeps order. Communicates with vacationers. Knows who lives in which room. Personally, he came up to us every day and asked if everything was fine with us? Are we satisfied with everything? Have you often seen this in hotels in Egypt? ! Me not! Room cleaning every day. Quality. Any requests are fulfilled immediately and with a smile. You just have to ask. I would like to address the authors of some reviews: People! Be people! I don't understand when a person comes on vacation, pays $500 for it, and starts to fart, snort, and run around the restaurant looking for "seafood" with hope in their eyes! Go to Rixos, Grand Rotana, Sultan, Albastros....Pay 2000 bucks and EAT!

Or do you believe that having paid 500 dollars for a tour, 400 of which is a flight, you will also eat shrimp with crabs? ! Not funny yourself? If we want to "overeat" seafood, we just go to the Oldmarket in Fares (but alcohol is prohibited there), or buy it in other places (and there are enough of them) and eat it all in the hotel, with beer, as we like. The price of the issue is a penny. You just need to be adequate and understand what you are paying for when choosing a hotel and buying a tour for 500 bucks! But that's my personal opinion. I don't force it on anyone!
FOOD: I will try to be as detailed as possible in describing all the nuances, so that each person can independently draw their own conclusions. The hotel has 3 A la carte restaurants on the all-inclusive system, and 6 on the Ultra system. Plus the main restaurant and food court. A la carte restaurants: nothing special, just better service and a fixed menu. I don't eat everything. And because, well, I did not appreciate them.
From the list: oriental, Asian and Italian, I can mark as worthy, only Italian. Main restaurant. Breakfasts: Eggs - boiled, fried as you like, scrambled eggs. Steamed vegetables, stewed, raw. Sweet potato slices baked and mashed. Beans in tomato or cream sauce including. Mashed potatoes. Porridge 2 varieties and oatmeal. Rice - always! Pancakes, donuts, croissants, fytyr, hot cakes that are constantly baked in front of you (3 times a day). Lots of pastries. Lots of! Cheese, sausage of several varieties, feta pieces and in pasta. Sausages of two varieties stewed with vegetables and without. 4 varieties of yogurt. Always! Lots of greens and salads. Toast. Dry breakfasts. Hot milk, tea, coffee. Lots of jams, honey, date syrup, butter. Fruits: melon, orange, dates, grapefruit, pomegranate seeds, fruit salad. And that's just breakfast! I will describe lunch and dinner simply by the presence of dishes and products. They're alike.
The restaurant focuses on the grill menu. Mackerel, sardine, tuna, chicken, steaks, kebab, duck, chicken, steaks, shawarma, liver slices and beef liver stroganoff. Stewed fish, such as hake or notothenia, sometimes pangasius stewed or in batter, liver, beef, chicken, all kinds of vegetables and assorted of them. Potatoes boiled, baked, stewed in tomato or with vegetables, fried with onions : )! Pasta with different sauces. Cutlets are very similar to pork. Beef fillet baked in dough. Vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, all kinds of cabbage, carrots, beets, iceberg, peppers), greens (onions, dill, parsley, arugula), limes and salads - a lot. From sauces: ketchup, mustard, kefir, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, apple, etc. Stuffed peppers. Cabbage rolls!! ! Various soups, including seafood and even borscht! There are a lot of desserts, delicious: cakes, pies, etc. Fruits - always, enough, but without frills, because it's not the season.

Well cooked, without too much spices and salt. It was possible to pick up a dietary boiled-steamed food option. Among the shortcomings: the lack of soy sauce and there were almost no olives, only in salads. And of course: no SEAFOOD (shrimp, crab, octopus and squid in its purest form)! But we somehow managed to survive this fact! : )))) Separately, I want to say about the food court: from 10.00 to 4.00 - alcohol, tea, cold and hot milk, coffee (coffee machine, respectively, cappuccino, latte, espresso, etc. ). Every day from 12.00 to 17.00: food, stewed and fresh vegetables, hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, deep-fried fish in small pieces in batter (super beer! ), donuts, pancakes, sauces, honey, several types of jam , cotton candy, popcorn and 4 types of ice cream. Fruits and pastries are sweet. The concept of the hotel provides food according to the Ol-24 system. So, at 22.00. and up to 5.
00 there is a night restaurant that ALWAYS has 2 types of hot soups, 2 types of meat, chicken, fish, pasta, potatoes, rice, stewed vegetables, salads, fresh vegetables, fruits and delicious desserts and fruit salads, sometimes even better than in main restaurant. So to go and have a delicious meal at 3 am is quite real! (or take an appetizer with strong drinks : ) ) Drinks: as everywhere in quality, but there is always everything: rum, tequila, gin, absinthe, vodka, etc......Juices from dispensers - not bad, but not packaged : ( Cola, fanta, sprite, tonic and soda from bottles. Beer - draft for Ol and in cans for Ultra. Alcohol is poured 24 hours a day, just in different places. For example, at 7 o'clock in the morning you have to go to the Lobby -bar : ) It seems to be everything. So, judge for yourself!
ANIMATION: And about sore! How do people raise their hands to write that it is bad? ! Yes guys are great! I've never seen animation like this before. They are FUCKING!!!
Always cheerful, smiling, with a hitch, a twinkle and knowledge of the matter. They put their heart and soul into what they do! And what shows! We didn't miss a single one. We were INTERESTING! Funny! Funny! Amr, Zizo, Omar, Svetlanka, Roksolana, Vikusya - you are the best! You are the calling card of the hotel!! ! Thank you very much from all our great company. Your gums are a masterpiece! Every number is irresistible! Your smiles warmed our souls and created a great mood. We will never forget you! We left and wept. Sincerely. We were sorry to part with Rehana, and even more so with you! During these two weeks, you have become almost family to us. Do not read reviews of different flours! Don't slow down! Keep it up!! ! A huge THANK YOU to you!
CONTINGENT: Very often, many people are worried about the contingent of vacationers in the hotel. So in Rehan it is international! There are Poles, Kyrgyz, Kazakhs, Armenians, Belarusians, Russians, guests from Syria, Jordan and Egypt itself (but very few).

The bulk of vacationers (60 percent) are Ukrainians.
OUTSIDE OF THE HOTEL: The hotel is located in a remote area from the central part of the city, but has a developed transport infrastructure. You can not spend money on a taxi, but get to any point in Sharm by minibus for $ 1 for two, or even three. Fast, cheap and cheerful. But there is no need to go anywhere, there is enough entertainment in the hotel, everything you want can be bought in the shops at the hotel or in the nearest market, which are a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Prices are even lower than in Oldmarket. It all depends on your bargaining skills! : ) There is a very good nightclub in the area, known to everyone - Hard Rock Cafe. The area itself is very beautiful, green and well-groomed, you can just walk along the street. But if you want to walk around Naama Bay, Soho, or buy seafood at the Oldmarket, then you need to go.
HOTEL GUIDE: For the first time I want to write a good review about a hotel guide.
Anextur. My name is Hamada. Standard assembly. Standard vparivanie excursions. But without pressure, threats and rudeness (as often happens). He just did his job. Always in sight. Always ready and happy to help. For which, many thanks to him. Him and the whole team of guides of Anex who worked in this hotel.
INTERNET: Upon arrival, each guest is given a ticket with an access code to Wi-Fi in the lobby. From the moment of connection, one hour is valid. In principle, it is enough to unsubscribe to relatives upon arrival and before departure. Used coupons - further for a fee. We took a Vodafone card.
WEATHER: This year has been abnormally hot for April. 37-40 degrees. So the notorious Nabsky breeze really saved!
SUMMARY: We enjoyed our stay at the Rehana Royal Beach Resort & Spa 5*. The time spent here will remain warm, kind, bright memories in our memory and a lot of positive emotions! Thank you Rehana! We will miss you!
And...we'll be back. We will definitely be back!! !
