I rested with two children (daughter 13 years old and son 14 years old) at the Rehana hotel for the second time. The hotel is wonderful, the food is varied, the territory is beautiful, green and well-groomed. The staff is friendly, constantly smiling. Animation at the highest level, do not let you get bored. This is the general impression of the hotel, but I had a nuisance. Upon arrival in Sharm, at the airport we took a test for COVID-19 and my one child had a positive result, according to the law of this country, we were in self-isolation until the negative test. Many hotels, due to the extension of stay with the impossibility of flying home, charge a separate fee for the forced stay of other family members who are not covered by insurance. And when I found out that only my daughter had a positive test, the guide said that my son was 14 years old and he should fly at the appointed time.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the attitude of the hotel administration towards my situation, when I was not only reassured and supported morally, but they extended the free stay in my family to resolve the situation. The hotel allocated a suite of buildings with pools and a limited area for COVID-19, we had the opportunity to fully relax. (I had friends resting in another hotel, so with COVID-19 they settled people in the basement). Food was brought to the room for every taste.
I don’t know if the hotel staff read reviews, but I want to express my deep gratitude to Mr. Ahmed and Anna, they are people with a big and kind heart!! !
