Rested in the hotel with the whole family - me, husband and son. For the third time in Egypt, we also rested in Turkey. Read the reviews before going to the hotel. Judging by the ratings, the hotel promised to be good.
The only pluses of this hotel are well-landscaped territory and food (excluding drinks). Everything else is a complete disadvantage. We are picky people, but the rest was a success entirely thanks to our optimism. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially clean people who love the sea, families with children, drinkers.
I will focus on the shortcomings.

1. EXTORTING MONEY AT THE RECEPTION. The first thing we encountered was extortion of money at the reception, all Russians in this hotel are immediately given a room with a view of the construction site, since there is plenty of it inside and outside the hotel. After examining our room, we were horrified. Small, dark, with two single beds, only the construction site was visible from the windows. At the reception, we were told that the hotel was full, but for $ 50 they can offer us a Family room. It turned out that this number is not much better than the previous one. A little bigger, with a double bed, just as dark and dirty, far from the main infrastructure of the hotel and next to the mosque. We refused.
2. NUMBER. As I said the rooms are dark and uncomfortable. We pushed the single beds together and put an extra bed next to it. It turned out that in addition to ants and spiders, huge cockroaches live in the hotel rooms, which were poisoned in the room 3 times, but to no avail. Construction dust flew from the construction site to the terrace, and the view was not very good, so they tried not to go out there. The hotel is located near the airport, so at night the door to the terrace or balcony cannot be opened due to noise. Cleaned daily, but not of high quality, very dirty curtains, walls, an unpleasant smell of sewerage. Linen was not changed even once in 10 days.
3. PROBLEMS WITH BEVERAGES. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the presence of water coolers in the corridors of the hotel, where you can freely draw water. But as it turned out in vain. We did not know that water is practically the only thing we will have to drink in this hotel. In the main restaurant, drinks are served only by waiters, if you try to get them yourself, you will be politely refused. The waiter will not pay attention to you until you give him a tip, and you must give them daily, and even then they will not bring you no more than 1 glass per person, they can be rude. In short, don't drink too much. The situation is similar in bars. Drinks are poured into old, scratched, plastic reusable glasses, which are not enough. There is a constant queue for drinks, they give no more than one glass in hand, drank and again in line. For the first time I see that you have to stand in line for sprite, cola, phantom, as the bartenders pour them. Usually soft drinks in other hotels are in bottles or in machines, and tourists pour them on their own. If there is no queue, then the glasses are over. I saw how they wash glasses on the beach - they collect them from the tables, and more often from the sand, where they are thrown by children who launch crabs into them, or make them into cakes, and rinse with water without detergent. You don't want to drink from them. In the bar on the beach, beer for money, for soft drinks - 1 glass in hand, again in line, it's very hard to wait in the heat. There is no special canopy, the tables are under the scorching rays of the sun. The result is that all conditions have been created so that the tourist drinks less.
3. SEA. The sea, as it were, and as if it were not. I'm not talking about the fact that the hotel is on 2 lines. You don’t feel it, because you have to walk only through the tunnel, and then the bus will take you to the beach. You have to wait no more than 2-3 minutes. The fact is that Nabq Bay is very windy, which leads to great unrest at sea. Of the 10 days of our stay, the calm sea was only 1 day, and even then on the day of departure. A red flag is always hung on the pontoon in the morning, that is, swimming is prohibited, rarely a yellow one. After lunch, there is always a yellow flag, which means that you will swim in strong currents and waves at sea, on high waves, risking injury on a reef, pontoon or its sharp metal steps. In such conditions, it is out of the question to swim close to the reef, you will simply be thrown at it by a wave. Fish usually hide in the reef, or go to the bottom. Be careful on the pontoon. A strong wind rips off caps, hats, things that have fallen on the pontoon are immediately carried away to the sea. Our compatriot was robbed of cards for towels, the Arab on duty on the pontoon was robbed of his whistle and his cap every day. So, we didn’t manage to enjoy the sea, although we all swim well. Those who do not know how to swim or families with children have nothing to do at all in this hotel. Entrance to the sea - only from the pontoon. Everything else is solid shallow water, where at high tide the depth is below the knee, and at low tide the water leaves completely, sea urchins are also found there.

4. POOLS. Since swimming in the sea is problematic, and in the morning there is nothing to go there at all because of the red flag, you have to turn your attention to the pools. There are several pools, the bottom and walls of which are pasted over with oilcloth, which is torn in places, peeled off in places. Pools are dirty, poorly cleaned, very chlorinated. But the heat forced them to turn a blind eye to this, until several Arab families arrived at the hotel, whose numerous wives and children bathed right in their clothes, shocking the naked Europeans with their appearance. From swimming in the pool, we, like most, refused. I had to cool off in the shower in the morning.
You can go to this hotel only if the ticket cost you quite inexpensively. Otherwise, you will be disappointed. Have a nice holiday!
