We rested in Sharm El-Sheikh in the first half of April, we were simply delighted with the country, the resort, the hotel and the Egyptians themselves.

Let's start with the flight. Since the weather was clear, from the plane they saw how the Mediterranean ends and Africa begins, and flying over the mainland, they saw the Nile and the desert. Very nice, photographed through the porthole.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were settled in a family room with three beds on the first floor (they call it zero), from the terrace there was a view of the sand embankment, behind which there was a road. At the same time at the reception we gave $10. Asked to change, they said that there is no other room. It was so, because no one would give us a family room for two. We agreed that for the time being we would not disassemble things and they would try to find another room for us the next day, which they did. Room on the 3rd floor, huge terrace, sea view. We were very satisfied.

The room has a safe, mini bar, a very comfortable dressing table, snow-white towels and bed linen are changed every day. There was no hair dryer, they called at the reception, they brought us to the room. The disadvantage is that they don’t give an iron for rent, if you need to iron or wash something, things are put in a special bag, an application is filled out for what needs to be done, and the cleaner picks up the bag. It's not cheap. So take with you either wrinkle-resistant things, or a travel iron.

The territory of the hotel is very, very beautiful: flowers everywhere, lawn grass of juicy green color, palm trees, beautiful large cacti; 3 swimming pools, one heated with a bar, 2 children's pools. At 6 pm (it gets dark early there), the lights are turned on. Beautiful, like in a fairy tale. Later, when the shop assistants found out which hotel we were from, everyone said that the hotel was very good. In my opinion, it has 4 stars, not 5 just because it is on the second line from the sea.
The food is so tasty that it is impossible not to overeat. Meat, fish, mussels and seafood mix; baked potatoes and french fries; pasta that is made right in front of you; soups; variety of salads, sauces. There are a lot of zucchini, zucchini, eggplant carrots in various forms - fried, stewed, baked, etc. The sweet selection is simply huge. For breakfast, scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs are fried right in front of us. We heard how our tourists complained about the kitchen, it seems that at home they eat only restaurant dishes.
If we are already talking about our tourists, I will say the following: the opinion of the Egyptians and other nations is well deserved. Only our ladies and gentlemen are dissatisfied with something, foreigners always smile, behave politely, do not require much attention to their person and can explain themselves in English. And ours believe that they consecrated the hotel, the resort and the whole of Egypt with their arrival.
It was terribly disgusting when a crumpled pack of cigarettes was thrown onto an absolutely clean sidewalk, when Egyptians were rude and insulted to the questions of service personnel and shop assistants. Only Russians and Ukrainians can afford it. They do not know English at all, they believe that everyone should know Russian. Of course, not everyone behaves this way, but most do. It is thanks to them that Slavic tourists are not liked.

I read in one of the previous reviews that strong discrimination is visible in this hotel. Not true!! ! We spoke English and Italian, behaved normally, and were treated no worse than tourists from Italy, Holland, Germany, Poland or the Czech Republic. True, I saw how a large group of Italians were greeted with a tray of juice poured into glasses. We were not welcomed like that. This is where the "discrimination" ends.
My self-esteem did not suffer at the same time, and if such moments cause a lot of negative emotions in someone, I can only sympathize.

The sea is indescribable. The underwater world is so beautiful and diverse that it is impossible to break away. Yes, you need to go aground to the end of the reef, but if you don’t get indignant at the same time, like some in previous reviews, you will see starfish and various shells of all colors along with their inhabitants. And sometimes colored little fish, which it is not clear how they swam aground. As the reef ends, fish of all colors and sizes become much larger. While snorkeling (swimming and snorkeling), we saw the fabulous world of a colorful coral reef. Fish, ranging from the smallest to the largest (70 centimeters in length), and it swims nearby, is not afraid. Some go in shoals, almost knock down.
Most of all, the surgeon-sokhal fish is one of the most beautiful, and by the way, it often swims in shallow water. At the end of the rest, we saw a huge fish 70 cm long with a horn on its head, called the Real Proboscis. The rest can be described for a very long time, I can only say that the beauty of the underwater world cannot be compared with anything. True, you need to pay attention to jellyfish - they sting very painfully, as well as corals - sharp as razors. Several times they fed the fish with rolls from the restaurant, so they ate from their hands !! ! And when they dived under the water and started throwing bread at them, they went completely crazy - they fought right into the mask with their muzzles, they almost bit off their fingers. You can buy a special camera (it costs about 50 pounds = 50 hryvnia) and take wonderful pictures underwater. And, of course, buy slippers for swimming, and go into the water only in them.

For those who do not like to go aground, there is a pontoon (you need to go through the beach of the HAUZA hotel to reach it), from which you dive into the depths.

But there the reef is less beautiful and the fish are much smaller, so I advise you not to be lazy and walk aground (by the way, during high tide the water rises almost a meter).

A shopping center is a ten minute walk from the hotel. There you can buy oils, papyri, clothes and a bunch of all sorts of souvenirs. The sellers are amazing. They invite you in and give you tea. Some speak Russian. Bargain, at first prices can simply be called atomic. Buy papyri from Philip on the second floor, oils on the 1st from Mario. There is one seller, Ali, who knows Russian, so he smeared his burned neck with some special lotions for free, it immediately became better. And they are all very friendly and funny. We were presented with a lot of souvenirs, just like that: we passed by their stores, got into a conversation, they invite us to the store and give gifts. Very friendly people.

We went to the Aqua Park in Hadaba, Albatros Hotel. I highly recommend - about 17 slides.
By taxi - $ 8 one way, entrance 165 pounds. It would be cheaper to buy a tour from the tour operator in the hotel.

In general, the rest was very pleasant, the hotel is very good. I myself chose only on the basis of reviews, and I am glad that I made the right choice.
