We rested for the third time in Sharm. And when we bought a ticket, they specifically asked if standard rooms were located throughout the territory, to which we were told that yes. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were settled in a standard room overlooking the road and the construction site (corner). We went to change at the reception. So they said that they have a standard only in 3 buildings near the road. And there is such a standard that I wanted to go back to the airport from the threshold! The furniture is a little old, there is only one wardrobe and there are just 8 hangers in it, the old TV was on the luggage shelf, 2 beds and a desk. On a chair, no shelves in the closet, no chest of drawers, no other bedside table. things. There were 2 plastic chairs and 1 table on the balcony, no more than 1.5 m2, which were once white and unbroken. Well, we were moved (in a big secret they said) to the standard near the sea for 50 USD. There were already chairs, shelves, and a bigger room. In short, the standards are also different.
We went to a la carte restaurants by appointment. At 2 we ate (Mediterranean cuisine and Chinese), we could not sign up for Italian, but signed up for a seafood restaurant. I won't forget this restaurant! There are only 3 types of fish dishes to choose from! And it's all seafood. But it didn't come to a choice. Because as soon as they brought us juice, wine and water, a cockroach crawled out from somewhere on the table and, as if nothing had happened, went for a walk in my frag!!! ! I jumped up in shock and ran far away from the restaurant! The husband went and told them why we left, so they seemed to be surprised even more. Juices in the hotel do not give, continuous chemistry, such as UPI. I'm not talking about fries anymore. For children, at least there is ice cream all day long. Drinks are local! Never got strawberries! Although we calmly bought in the store for 2u. e. per kg. There were bananas, apples, guava and green peaches. We took peaches to the room and waited for 2-3 days when they ripened. In the main restaurant you could find food, but there were always few vegetables, squid was given only 1 time, pastries and cakes were all the same type, only with different decorations on top. And the nasty waiters always strove to put us 3 for a table for 2, while the foreigners sat quietly together at the 4-seater table. Or they were eager to transplant us closer to the toilet. It's so insulting, why did they decide that "our place is at the bucket"? We never succumbed to their transplants, we simply ignored their cries.
We spent all our time on the slides and by the pools. But you need to take a place before 8 in the morning, because there are no sun loungers under the umbrellas and next to it. Although the hotel policy states that it is forbidden to "book" sun loungers. In the morning we took a place by the heated pool, because. in the rest, the water is cold and I swam in it 4 times a week (daughter, however, was not embarrassed at all and she swam). The heated pool is very small and by lunchtime the water is already cloudy. We also went to the jacuzzi 1 time, the water is not very clean. We sat together, but only 1 place worked with a back massage, 1 with a neck massage and 2 did not work at all. I liked the sauna by the pools, because it was very cold for 2 days, it was impossible to sunbathe, such a cold wind was blowing, so at least you could warm yourself in the sauna. Children under 16, by the way, are forbidden to go there and all children were expelled from there. My daughter really liked the slides and I did too, since the “adult” slides are allowed from the age of 6. I hardly went to the children's club. So every day they drew something with paints on their faces or hands. They drew or painted something, sometimes they cut out their own drawings. The mini disco was more fun than the "entertainment" during the day. In the evening, the show time out of 7 days, I liked only 3 days. Everyone else just got up and left. And basically it is carried out by all hotel animators, and teams do not come.

The room was hardly cleaned. The furniture is already “tired”, the TV set is old, you can’t set it up yourself, the remote control is blocked, but this did not bother us, because we spent little time there. Chewing gum was pasted on the bed at the head even before us, my husband tore it off, so it lay on the floor until we left. After combing every day, I collected my hair from the floor myself. She threw the towel on the floor, it was really dirty, so they folded it again for us like clean (and she is small, like for the face). She sent her husband to swear, so she brought it clean. Never added shampoo or soap! We used everything - so you need it, you didn’t have to swim every day. Good thing you brought it with you. Our refrigerator didn't work. They called the master, but did not wait until the departure of the repair. Though they mentioned it. There was no safe in the room. I am glad that everything remained intact and unharmed.
The sea generally ran away on the 2nd day. On the day of arrival, we saw him near the shore, touched some water, and on the trail. -it moved very far away (maybe it was low tide? ). To swim, we passed the entire pontoon 800m, then along the corals more, somehow got to the cliff in the corals. True, there are already a lot of fish there, rubbing right against your legs! Once a moray eel was chasing her husband, we were still ankle-deep in water. We quickly walked back to the pontoon then.
Once we went to a disco with animation. The animators are great, they try, have fun and they do it well. But the disco itself is some kind of misunderstanding. No place for you to dance normally, no normal exhaust... The waiters run around and constantly look to pick up from the table and carry it away. And they don't care if you haven't eaten or finished something yet. Like you want - order a new one. A jar of cola-sprite 0.33 costs 2.7 USD, water min. Without gas 0.5 l - 2 c. u. , cocktails are all almost 10 c. u. , bottled beer. 0.33 like -5.5 c. u. So the husband sat the whole disco and looked at the table so that nothing was stolen. Because in the beginning, when we just moved away, the waiter immediately took away his glass of cocktail. And the attitude is also towards the Russians: they brought us water in cans and beer in a bottle, and next to the girls from Sweden - the same water + glasses. After this, you feel like you don't understand who...
In my opinion, a 5 * hotel does not pull in terms of rooms, service, or food. Wouldn't go there again no matter how good the reviews are! Apparently, those people who are so happy with it have not yet seen normal hotels. It looks like 3 *, as we started in Turkey, only the territory is large, like 5 *.
