We went on holiday with our 4.5 year old daughter. In general, it is always good to rest, but the hotel is very large and not cozy.
Our room was a standard -10 building. We liked it, not big and, at the same time, nothing more. Cleaned well, towels and bedding changed every day, left 1 dollar a day. Swimwear, swimming trunks and slippers from the sea were left to dry on the balcony on chairs (we lived on the first floor), and then one fine morning (2 days before departure) my swimming trunks were gone... I wanted to give them the upper part as well... As it turned out later, the neighbor in the room had the same story with the bottom of the swimsuit and panties... like this . . Fortunately, there were spare swimsuits.
Ate in the central restaurant, or rather - a large dining room, but very good. All kinds of food in a shaft: pastries, fruits, salads, sliced ​ ​ vegetables, pickles, hot dishes, grill and more. Everything was always fresh and tasty. There were no indigestions, no poisoning. From the canteen to the room they took bags with very tasty teas (anise, mint, etc. ). there was lipton and nescafe in the room, but we don't drink it.

I also took pastries for my daughter from breakfast in packages. after breakfast at 7.00 we went to the sea, and she is a lover of chewing. On the beach, from 11.00 you could take French fries, fish, salad, hot dog,
The beach is very beautiful, pantone 900 m was not a disadvantage for us, maybe. my daughter and I walked along the pontoon and watched the fish from it - very beautiful. And besides, on vacation they ate like donuts - they needed walking, so they walked along the pontoon. We went swimming from the pontoon on the left, it is 200 meters, a depth of about 1.7 m was dug there and covered with sand. The low tide begins in the afternoon from 2 o'clock. The largest low tide was seen at 800 meters, the water receded, it was smaller - 50 meters.
With a mask and flippers, the husband went to the end of the pontoon, there it was necessary to go another 30 meters along slippery gullies, the water was knee-deep, the waves knocked down, and then you could dive. This whole adventure is not for the weak - I never got there, I couldn’t go through slippery stones and hollows, the waves knocked me down all the time, fell on fish and corals, got scratched a little and didn’t go there anymore. My husband went diving several times, says the beauty is indescribable. The red flag was removed when the tide began to ebb, i. e. opened the pontoon from the other side.
My daughter and I walked along the coast to the right, where the pontoons are much smaller, but we could not go there with the child every day. They rode a camel there, the bidouin asked for 30 dollars, and for 17 he took me and my daughter for a ride. My daughter has a lot of impressions. We also saw crabs of different sizes on a rocky beach (a small rocky strip), my daughter was already squealing with delight - to the right side of our hotel.

We went on a sightseeing tour of Sharm El Sheikh for 10 dollars - nothing impressive, moreover, we were delayed for half an hour (we left at 20.30, arrived at half past midnight), then for another half an hour we collected everyone in hotels, and we went with my daughter: city built for tourists 30 years ago, it is called the "hostel of men" men from all over Egypt come to work in hotels, and families stay in their hometowns, we were taken to the mosque - she is 2 years old, to the pro-Vaslav church she is 7 years old, to the monument (no historical value these objects are not carried, built in the modern age for residents and tourists), and to the bazaar - this was the most important event of the excursion - the guide leads to his store, my daughter and I overslept it on the bus. This whole market is one big scam.
Souvenirs and other purchases. After reading the previous review at home, we decided to go to the Horizont Azur Hotel, it is located on the right across the road when you exit the Tropicana Hotel. There, the seller George Clooney has 3 shops - souvenirs, clothes, towels, bags, suitcases, hookahs, toys, masks, fins, teas, spices, papyri. The prices are very pleased, it is not traded, but initially sets prices very low. He has strawberries for sale in the morning. We advise everyone to look there - before going to the bazaar. We did not change money for pounds, we paid in dollars and there is always enough money in the right amount !!
We went with three of us on a catamaran with a transparent bottom, paid 90 dollars each, my daughter free of charge. Why they ripped off so much money from us, I ultimately did not understand, they sailed from the port not far to the reserve, while they were feeding us, then we were invited to go down to view the bottom through the windows - the water was agitated and unclear from a large number of air bubbles in it, the viewing lasted 10-15 minutes - I don’t argue beautifully, but not in such colors as you can see by downloading the video from the Internet, but in blue-gray tones. Fish were fed from the catamaran and a flock of fish swam in front of the windows - also very beautiful - and that's all... My husband went diving with a mask and fins - he speaks beautifully, but the fish are only small, and near the hotel there were many more species of fish and other living creatures. in this reserve, in addition to our catamaran, there were other boats, perhaps the fish were simply scared away. Conclusion - it's not worth going, it's better to spend time diving near the hotel.
My daughter was taken to a children's disco every day - she really liked it. It took place in the conference room, it was cold there.

We stayed several times after the minidisco for adult shows, I liked the show where the guy twisted his skirts. We stayed on the show "Mr. Tropicana" - it was a pity for the guys who were called to the stage. Of course, we neighed nicely, but they clearly did not want to feel like clowns.
The hotel is good, but we will not go there again, we liked the hotel on the left - small bungalows, very cozy.
