I will try to write objectively, because I saw completely different reviews. So, we rested from November 25 to 30 together with my husband. It was the first time in Egypt, but not the first time abroad, so I only compare countries. I’ll say right away, I’ve been in fives that were worse than this four, the Four for Egypt, they say it’s very decent, it’s just not the first line, it’s about 10 minutes to the beach with quiet glanders, which in principle is even good for health, or on a free bus that runs every floor hours, this is for those who are too lazy to go on foot.
So in order. We arrived early in the morning and, to be honest, we waited for a long languor until 14.00 (according to the rules of Egypt) to check in and serve time at the reception without food or drink. We were already settled at 9 am, which was a pleasant surprise without any problems with rooms or surcharges (10 dollars for a passport is a common practice in many hotels, by the way). They even served us breakfast and then lunch. About food hours is a separate issue. What I really liked was the schedule with the opening hours of the restaurant. Breakfast 7.00-10.30 Lunch 13.00-15.30. dinner 19.00-22.30 (if memory serves), so you can take your time, sleep peacefully in the morning and come later, the assortment is always fully present, because they put out food in small portions, but as soon as something ends, they immediately bring new ones. Regarding the assortment . . of course we saw a table richer and more varied, BUT... the food here is ALWAYS fresh, I didn’t see anything that the vegetables left from breakfast would be poured with mayonnaise and laid out for lunch, as they do in many other places. Speaking of food… Sometimes I marvel at our brother, they put them on plates and devour them as if after that they obviously won’t be fed for another 2 days! )) And then they complain that the food is not like that and they get stomach ache… YOU SHOULD EAT LESS! ! ! And do not interfere with 3 side dishes and 4 types of meat and fish at a time! Quite a righteous punishment for those who have seized upon the buffet)))) Either they don’t wash their hands before eating, or brush their teeth with tap water, you knew where you were going! This is not Europe! The chef there is very good and cooks fish perfectly (oddly enough for Egypt) if you haven’t eaten enough, come and get what you need again, no one will scold you for it, in general you can always eat there, no one is hungry yet was leaving. . .
Drinking Onclusive of course th . . but))) We didn’t drink anything except beer, beer is also so-so. But in principle it goes cold in the heat)) Knowing in advance what something like this will be, we bought a drink in DutiFree and walked already “with our own”. By the way, if you didn’t have time to buy alcohol at the airport, then in Egypt there is a law according to which, after staying in its territory for 48 hours, you can buy it at the DutiFree store on Naama Bay (the bus leaves the hotel every evening 2 times for free ) everything that is there at the appropriate prices.

Room and area. The room is just great! Especially if you take into account the price of our vouchers))) Quite spacious, the bed in our room was with a canopy (in the photo of some sites you can see such). By the way, having read some of the reviews before the trip, I thought it would be something terribly old . . So, I want to answer such “reviews”, if I may say so, that the furniture there is not old, but aged, specially for the design of a pseudo-Arab interior with a touch of European traditions, and if somewhere there is really old furniture, it’s even more rare, again, a design refinement, and not economy, as some might think))) ancient doors, which, as it were, were torn off from old buildings and attached on these walls, again carpets (handmade, by the way) and copper utensils and lamps... Well . . let's forgive some narrow-mindedness in the vision of design solutions, I personally really liked it! Personally, I found it all even cozy. The rooms were not cleaned so that, of course, they were sterile clean, there were lumps of dust under the bed - yes, but we personally are not one of those people who will squeal at the sight of a speck on the mirror, so they even left a tip, every day for a dollar . . That's us for sure didn’t ruin it, but for some reason the cleaner (apparently this is such an Arabic form of gratitude, we didn’t understand this joke, to be honest) changed every day not only towels, but also bedside rugs, even brought an extra one and brought a warm blanket (maybe he thought that we were freezing - I don’t know)))) In any case, it smiled but did not anger)))
The territory is small and cozy, green, in the photo that is displayed on the sites everything is much paler, in fact it is much better. The only thing that bothered me a little was that they watered the greens with smelly water, apparently sewer water, and a couple of times amber reached our noses. This is how everyone survives. . .
About the staff. Again, having read everything, they thought it would be something like “your mine doesn’t understand. ” At the Reception, not everyone speaks Russian far, but in principle, my minimum knowledge of English was enough to explain myself, then our hotel guide from Pegasus Anastasia (a huge separate one, by the way, gratitude, the girl is just Clever! Very responsive and competent, and we have seen a lot of guides in our lifetime, believe me) helped if there were misunderstandings. Unlike the Reception, the bartenders in the Lobby bar and in the main restaurant already understood something from Russian)) at least it was not difficult to ask them for something. The coffee is very decent, they make it natural, you can ask and brew it in a cezve, once, apparently, as a bonus, one bartender made me a Latte, although I didn’t even ask him, just like that, from the breadth of the human soul)))
The most important thing I wanted to say about the staff… don't look at these people as inferior! Again, to become ashamed of our compatriots! They work the best they can. You may not have noticed, but they work 16 hours a day, and people come across different, there is frank boorishness, so I myself would say a couple of affectionate ones, and the Egyptians should smile at the same time . . As you treat people, so they to you!! ! We had only pleasant impressions, because we were always greeted with smiles, and on the third day, already knowing our tastes, they asked in the morning “2 cappuccinos? ” ))) Ordinary guys with maybe a little Arabic humor, but I didn’t see any outright tricks from them.

By the way, the driver also belongs to the staff, so… Schumacher is resting! ))) A half-hour trip to the city center burned a certain number of nerve cells in me! How they drive is a separate story, despite the fact that there were no traffic lights in Egypt, there are not and will not be))))
Purchases and Gifts BARGAIN! At the hotel, in principle, there is a good shop, kept by an Egyptian Christian. Prices almost never drop, but initially there are no crazy markups, so I don’t see the point in wandering somewhere far away for souvenirs, when prices are about the same here. And most importantly, NOT OBSTACTORY as in many places! If you leave the hotel, turn right and walk forward a couple of hundred meters, then there is a supermarket decent for local Metros (an Egyptian fake of sorts) So there are fixed prices for many things, naturally low . . I recommend buying mangoes and pomegranates there before flying back Very delicious, unlike what we sell and very cheap! You can also buy natural juices, still very tasty halva. Only there they don’t accept dollars, only local Egyptian pounds, but very close there is an electronic exchanger, like an ATM, you put your hard-earned dollars in there, gives out their pounds. However, the exchange rate is very good.
Recreation and entertainment for my husband and I personally arranged such a rhythm, once every 3 days they put on a show, on other days you can dance at an impromptu disco in the bar at the entrance, or, again, take a free bus to Naama Bay, there’s entertainment on any taste and color. By the way, we found a cool cafe there, called Panorama Zaza. In the evening, there is a magnificent view from there. Prices are of course a little overpriced, but there you can watch shows with traditional belly dances and dances in skirts, as well as Fireshow. And since the hotel is not very noisy in this regard, so for lovers of silence it is also suitable. Here, everyone is looking for entertainment to their taste.
As for excursions, this may not be entirely on the subject of a hotel review, I just wanted to give a small example. When we went on a daily excursion to the Pyramids, we were given a dry breakfast in a branded box. We left at one in the morning, while we asked for pillows to make it more comfortable to sleep on the bus, so we were allowed to take 2 pillows from the room without any questions (again, this fact was pleasantly surprised). We arrived at about 12, of course we missed dinner, but when we came to the room hungry and a little tired, we found plates of sandwiches and fruit in the room. (after all, they took care, they brought it, for which the hotel has a great Respect)

In conclusion, I’ll probably say that with what attitude you come to rest, this is how you will spend it! You will throw a tantrum over every nonsense - nothing good will come of it! Vacationers! Pay attention to such a simple thing that for the money that we spend in this far from European country, we get (in my personal opinion) much more than we would spend in more “prosperous” places. Go to Europe 3 times more expensive if you want some kind of super service! And even better, take a closer look at your own behavior, because we ourselves often make "advertising" for our country and our people! And then we want a normal attitude towards ourselves... do not be Cattle! Egypt is not only a bunch of black-faced Bedouins, it is an ancient civilization and the cradle of many cultures, don't forget about it ; ) Happy holidays!
