We were a family in this hotel for the New Year holidays in 2013, took half board. We were lucky with the weather, so the rest was a success. Sunbathing on the beach and a little ride on excursions - entertainment.
Now directly about the hotel. The hotel has significant pros and cons, so I will try to list them, and everyone reading the review will be able to decide for themselves what is important to them, perhaps for someone the signs in the description will change. So, the advantages of the hotel include: location, staff, quality of service, beach, reasonable prices for accommodation, cuisine in the hotel restaurants to order. The disadvantages of the hotel, in my opinion, include: a long absence of repair, standard food, an incomprehensible division of services between hotels (in fact, the hotel is a complex consisting of a beach front beach and a cheaper mountain located across the road).
Now more about the above pros and cons. Location - the hotel is located at the beginning of Naama Bay, from the airport, so there are no shops and non-hotel restaurants on the beach and the area adjacent to the walking alley, it is quiet and calm, although all this can be found literally 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and to the very center nightlife walk about 15 minutes. Thus, you can easily get all the charms of Naama Bay while staying in a quiet and cozy place if you wish. In my opinion, this is the biggest plus of the hotel, a similar situation with the nearby five "Novotel". The staff is polite and well-trained, the daughter at the beach restaurant dropped the knife and tried to pick it up on her own, all the waiters who saw it rushed to her like mad to pick it up and prevent her from doing it on her own, raised it and apologized three more times. Rooms are cleaned daily and with high quality, all towels are changed daily, regardless of their location and degree of use. Beach. own, wide with a sufficient number of stationary umbrellas with tables and sun loungers. Tables on umbrellas are very convenient for ordering food and drinks on the beach. The entrance to the sea is sandy, three meters from the shore there are islands of stones around which fish swim, that is, you can safely swim and swim, and if you wish, put on a mask and snorkel and admire the marine life (of course you will not see such beauty as on coral reefs), also bathing does not cause problems for children, they can bathe on their own. Prices, when choosing a tour, the price for this hotel was the smallest of the five on Naama Bay. The hotel has a beach, fish, Italian and Japanese restaurant, all restaurants have delicious cuisine, huge portions.

Now for the cons. The hotel hasn't been renovated for a long time, everything is rather "used", although everything is clean and washed, there is no impression of a five-star hotel. As I wrote above, we took half board, everything is VERY modest, and if for breakfast, without frills, you will not be hungry, then dinner is just awful. At dinner, a minimum of dishes, one meat dish, dishes that should be hot and cold. In general, I will not expand further, in my opinion, dinner should be taken only if you are relaxing with small children. It is a problem to eat in restaurants outside the hotel in the evening, nightlife begins there and it is problematic to find a restaurant that is conducive to a family dinner. Now, regarding the distribution of services between the hotels of the complex: breakfast for both hotels is served at the beach, but dinner at Monteine, so you will have to drag across the road for dinner, the heated pool is also located in the hotel across the road, so on a cool day in your pool swim, during our stay the temperature in it was 16 degrees.
