To be honest, we went to Egypt for the first time, and at first we didn’t really want to go, because. heard about the obsession of the Arabs, etc. , but this time of year and given the crisis, Egypt is the best option in terms of weather and finances. We chose the hotel for a long time and stopped at the Grand Plaza. We bought tickets and only after that we got to the reviews about the hotel. After them, of course, it became a bit dumb to go, but there was nowhere to go... and now we are already in Sharm. An unpleasant moment during check-in - we arrived at 9 am (of course, we didn’t sleep at night), and check-in was at 2 pm... In general, we had to sleep all morning in the hotel lobby (but the chairs there are soft and comfortable : ))) there was a superrior sea view) they tried to put us in such a room but with a shared balcony, we refused and we were immediately given the room that was supposed to be a ticket. The reviews say that the hotel is Italian, and if you are not Italian, you can forget about the buildings by the sea. We have the exact opposite opinion: firstly, we have not seen ANY Italian tourist all the time (only animators), and secondly, we lived in the second building - it is very close to the sea and not far from restaurants. Of course, it’s not very convenient to live in the last buildings - then it’s 700 meters to stomp to the sea... But these buildings were not even offered to us, despite the fact that we are Ukrainians, and not Italians at all.
The room is excellent, spacious enough with two double beds. Nice balcony overlooking the sea. . . Bovshchem liked it. Highly.
The service is also very decent, and we were fed tasty and not at all monotonous. Yes, the menu really has the same products, i. e. chicken, fish, beef, BUT!! ! Each time they have a DIFFERENT dish! Totally delicious)

We were not very lucky with the sea, there were curtains all the time and you can swim only near the blind area itself, otherwise it will blow away, and there are still a lot of people and everyone is pushing, etc. - In general, this is the biggest minus of the whole holiday.
But we compensated for the lack of a normal sea with a trip to about. Tyrant (actually on the coral reef next to it) and were very satisfied.
