I'm Olga, a middle manager, hotels like Zigan, etc. I can't afford. But I'm used to strong Turkish fives. Before that, I was in Hurghada once (I didn’t like it) and 8 times in Turkey. I will say right away that comparing Egyptian hotels with Turkey in general is a futile exercise.
By minibus from the hotel to Naima Bay 10 min. per dollar per person. You can shoot there at least every day (excursions to Cairo and Jerusalem should be taken only in Naima Bay. Buy from guides at the hotel - and don’t even think about it. Everything is the same, but 30-50% more expensive).

Another tip: do not drag flippers and slippers with your mask - all this can be bought at the hotel or in Naima Bay for a nominal fee. We were scared that the hotel is full of Italians, the animation is not in Russian. But there were no Italians at all (maybe not the season), and the animation was focused exclusively on us and Ukrainians. Now about what

did not like: 1) the hotel is full of empty rooms in the buildings closest to the sea, but they are not given to anyone, because some finishing work is still being done there (or cosmetic repairs? ); 2) the bar on the beach starts working only from 10 o'clock, the sprite in it is bred to the state of soda. The rest of the drinks, it seems, do not badyazhat. In general, the bars and staff in them in this hotel are bad; 3) there are no coolers with drinking water in the buildings, if you pour water into a container you brought with you in a restaurant, the staff goes berserk. So you need to come to the restaurant "for water" at rush hour, when the staff is fully loaded; 4) although there are a lot of young people in the hotel, for some reason no one comes to the disco (is it because the bar at the disco is paid? ); 5) there is no place for swimming from the shore (there is a “paddling pool”, but this is not serious), and you can’t swim much from the pier (it is very stormy before lunch).

Liked: 1) Very tasty food (there is no variety, but this is not Turkey, see above). And, as it turned out, harmless.
God, thank you, I had no stomach problems at all. This is happiness. And a huge plus for the hotel. How do they cook beef? And do not believe those who say that the hotel does not give fruit. Give. Everything is fresh and tasty. Especially melons. Places in 3 restaurants are always full. Not in that, so in another; 2) The staff (junior) is very polite, unobtrusive. All requests are fulfilled and no money is asked for. I lost something a couple of times, so the fight ran after me through the whole hotel to give the thing back; 3) From any room a good view (checked). The rooms are new, clean; 4) There is an office of an Italian company on the territory of the hotel.

So high-quality excursions to the sea are not a problem. I swam from the pier five times in all the time (I was afraid of the waves). One foray into the sea on a snow-white yacht was enough for me as compensation. Bought, dived.
And in other hotels, tourists are frankly bred (they slip a shabby yacht and a deaf-mute guide); 5) A beautiful reef (they were on an excursion in some kind of reserve. So the reef near the hotel is in no way inferior); 6) A sea of ​ ​ free sunbeds (there are stupidly more of them than required); 7) Several pools. There is a nice jacuzzi next to the main pool (for a fee). But if the staff is at work and does not pay attention to you, you can do it for free; 8) many people with whom we talked on excursions, when they found out that we were from the Grand Plaza, began to envy ...
