We stayed at the hotel in September 2009. The impressions are the most wonderful, although, of course, there are also disadvantages (but they did not spoil the impressions of the rest: apparently, the main thing is a positive attitude : ))
So, in order. Check-in to rooms at 14-00. And not before - despite waving den. signs of a green tint : ) The guest guide explained this by the fact that the hotel is 100% full and can only be settled after it is free and the room is cleaned at 12-00.
Well, in general, it was a rather unpleasant moment - given the fact that we arrived at 8-30, and before that there was another 6-hour trip from Kharkov to Kyiv and a 5-hour wait for a flight at the airport. Some of the guests were sitting at the reception, we went to the pools and sat in the bar (if it was smart enough to put swimsuits in hand luggage, it would be super! : ))

We settled in the 3rd building. In my opinion, it is located most optimally - in the middle of the territory, close to the main restaurants and the lower pools. To be honest, I could only sympathize with the residents of the 5th and 6th buildings.
The territory of the hotel is huge and very well-groomed. From the "contingent" there are a lot of Poles, a lot of Ryasian speakers, the rest are English speakers. I didn’t see a single Italian : ) Decent people crept up, no one lay under the bushes and didn’t bullshit.
Liked the food. Although in the end, of course, I wanted homemade food : ) But in general, the food was good. The assortment of fruits was somewhat disappointing - there were guava, dates, oranges (local and rather lousy), sometimes - pomegranates, once - persimmon. Very tasty pears. For dinner every day there were melons and watermelons. Meat dishes - well, let's just say, somewhat spoiled the local taboo on pork : ), but in general - not bad. Fish - frankly none. And for some reason it seems to me that this is not the fault of the chefs, but the peculiarities of the local fish, from which they cook - absolutely lean and dry. The pastries are delicious and plentiful.
The drinks. With alcohol, I think everything is clear : ) the usual Egyptian quality in the range : ) I was upset that the juices are frankly lousy: ( it seems that they really are powdered yuppies: ((the situation with drinking water was somewhat strained: it is only in coolers, which are in bars exhibited at 10-00 and cleaned at 23-00 In the bar in the room - only for a fee (15 euros set of water + several bottles of cola and sprite) For your information - water outside the hotel in the store - 2 dollars 3 half-liter bottles. in general, either buy or type in bottles in a restaurant or bar. Employees were fine with this, but somehow it was - unglamorous : )
The sea and the beach... Firstly, I’ll say right away - the beach is huge, there are enough sunbeds for everyone and always. Around the pools, in principle, there may not be enough space if you come too late.

The sea is amazing. A huge number of fish always graze near the hotel panton - both in shallow water and next to the reef. The pantone itself is, frankly, lousy. Firstly, there is a strong current near it - it carries it away. Therefore, people who are not very confident on the water do not sail far, as a result - pandemonium and when you swim - you no longer look at the fish, but at the fact that someone does not drive in your face with a flipper. The descents into the water are also bad - two absolutely vertical stairs, on which you can’t go down with all your desire, and one ladder with a railing is inclined, but so narrow that you can hardly pass on it.
In general, we went to swim in the neighboring pantones (if you stand facing the sea, then on your left). There are good slopes to the water, there is practically no current, and there are few people (especially at the neighboring hotel, which has just opened and is not functioning at full capacity).
We went on an excursion to Ras Mohamed - on a boat. To be honest, I regretted not taking the bus. The fact is that both those who swim simply with a mask and those who are taught to scuba dive are sailing on the ship. They make three stops - and two of them - a hundred meters from each other. While the "divers" are being lowered under the water, the "maskers" are frankly bored, having managed to swim. Each stop is about two and a half hours. In general, everything is dreary and stretched. In addition, there are much fewer fish than on the reef next to the hotel (I don’t even know why). The only thing that pleased - a meeting with turtles. But in general, the tour is not worth it to go on it.
In general, I really liked the hotel and were satisfied with the rest - which I wish everyone! : )
