Hi all! Rested in this hotel from 11 to 21 November 2009. I was the first time in Egypt, a friend - the tenth time. We read the reviews before leaving and went already prepared. The information on the site "Turtessa" and "Vacations com. " is true - everything corresponds to reality: both photos and videos. We flew from Anex Tour. There were no complaints about meeting and sending. But this tour operator could not organize excursions normally, so we bought all excursions on the street. And they did not regret it - the service is excellent, and the prices are 2 times lower (we met the dawn in the desert on ATVs, I went to the pyramids). And the current hotel issues were resolved more often with other operators Pegasus, Turtess, Koral, who were always at their workplace, while you will not find our guys with fire during the day (especially Ramil).
Now about the hotel. The rooms are spacious and everything works. They watched 2 Russian channels on TV and even found 2 Ukrainian ones (the 5th and the Rada channel). The tap water is not drinkable, we were advised to rinse our mouths with bottled water even after brushing our teeth. We didn’t do anything like that, and everything was fine with the stomach. Water is better to buy in the market across the road from the hotel. For 1 dollar - 3 bottles of 1.5 liters (and the hotel has only one bottle for this amount). We lived in building 6. And they were not even upset that they settled us there. Less fuss around, close to tennis court, swimming pool and access to shops. To the sea in a straight line to go exactly 5 minutes. And you will shake off what you eat in the restaurant. And enjoy the area. And it is big, green, clean, blooming! Gardeners are always at work: they cut bushes, pull out weeds, treat them from insects, water them - just great. The beach is spacious and cozy (we walked to neighboring hotels for comparison - ours is unrivaled), there are always enough places: both by the sea and by the pools. We were a bit unlucky with the weather. All 10 days a strong wind blew, the sea was stormy, the red flag changed to yellow only 2 times for 2 hours. So it was not possible to fully experience the charm of the Red Sea. We fled by the pools or went to the bay to the beach of the Oriental Resort hotel - about 15 minutes on foot, there is a convenient entry into the sea from the pantone (like in our relax zone - only there are many and deeper places for swimming). There were no problems with food at the hotel: beef, grilled chicken, sausages, cheeses, on Fridays - fish day (squid, octopus, fish, crabs, etc. ) - there was even a bust. Also, you have to try the sweets! Mezim just saved. Or sometimes they did unloading - cereal with milk, scrambled eggs and seagulls. If it was too lazy to go to the main restaurant for lunch (or because the sun was setting early, at 4.30 - I wanted to lie more under its rays) - we had a snack in a grill bar on the beach or in bars near the pools. There were no problems with drinking either, when ours ended, we switched to the local one. Whiskey with cola, beer, wine - they were not diluted, and they gave us 3-4 glasses in one hand without any problems - the main thing is to smile more often! And most importantly, you can take food with you from restaurants. We always had fruit in the room, and for a pleasant viewing of the show, they took a snack with them. Every evening in the summer theater there were programs in oriental style, and our animators held competitions, and then it was possible to dance until 2-3 in the night at the local hotel disco. And if we still got bored, we went outside the hotel, caught a taxi or minibus and went to Naama Bay at night. Or they went to street hookahs, bargained in shops for souvenirs - you can tear your stomach from talking with local residents just from laughter. They give out such verbal pearls - our tourists have worked hard! : ))) We even found the Metro, where prices are fixed - we bought local teas and strawberries. In general - the holiday was a success! Would love to come back as there is so much more to see!
