Excellent hotel. A huge green area, more than 500 palm trees, grass, not a piece of asphalt - everything is paved with paving slabs. Terracotta hulls in Arabic style. We went on several excursions and on the way we stopped at several hotels for passengers. So those hotels that we visited smoke on the sidelines compared to the Grand Plaza. IMHO of course and at a cursory glance.
Settled for 20 bucks in 1 building 3rd floor. Room 1304. Next to the main restaurant. The room is chic. The ceilings in the room are 5 meters. I went into the next room where the ceilings were smaller - 4 meters. The beds are clean and crispy. They cleaned every day, but the swans really didn’t spin even for a buck. There are no living creatures in the room - no cockroaches, no mosquitoes, nothing at all. In the corridor I saw praying mantis (insect). Hairdryer, safe, TV, air conditioning all work perfectly.
In the first three days there were few people, but then there was a check-in and vacationers arrived. % nationalities as it seemed to me:

35 - italy
20 - poland
10 - Britain and Americans (Tumbovoid Nigrants Probably Americans)
5- other Europeans
30 - brothers Slavs from the former USSR.
Animation Italian, not intrusive.
I didn’t notice any racial discrimination in the hotel - everyone’s bracelets are orange and the children’s are green.
We ate mostly in the main restaurant. The food is excellent and varied - I disagree with those who say that the food is monotonous. In addition to what is in the containers from the chef for breakfast, scrambled eggs with individually selected additives such as cheese, sausage, mushrooms, herbs, etc. And for lunch, fish, lamb, duck, liver... From fruits, mountains of bananas, oranges, grapefruits, tuyeres, etc. The dishes are clean, the staff is well-trained. I saw how the older waiters were building, actually building the younger ones in a line and telling them something. Waiters are careful.
Alcohol in the main restaurant for lunch and dinner is free of course. I did not want to overshadow 7 days of rest with a headache, so I drank mostly beer. The beer is light and can be drunk instead of water. I tried Egyptian whiskey - it tastes rubbish. Vodka is normal - it does not stink of alcohol - I recommend it. Once I tried rum with cola - also good.
The bar serves delicious cocktails. Since they did not abuse alcohol, they did not feel any dissatisfaction on the part of the bartenders.
The pools are big and there are several of them. There is a 2m deep pool.
We went on an excursion to Israel and on a bathyscaphe - we liked everything.

The only big minus is the sea. Reading the reviews before the trip, I could not understand how it is not the sea. And he really isn't there. Look at the Google map - along the strip of corals that you can see there - you can’t actually walk, although they do (mostly Slavic brothers), all the more you can’t swim, because the depth there is below the knee at high tide, and there is no water there at low tide generally. It is theoretically possible to swim from a pontoon, but almost the entire period of my stay at the hotel was a storm. A storm there is a common phenomenon, such an unfortunate location of the hotel. In general, for the entire period, the red flag was lowered 2 times for an hour and a half. And all the same, the excitement of the sea was such that you don’t get pleasure from snorkeling - it’s sausage. The wife and child did not feel discomfort, as they splashed in a puddle, this place is cleared of corals. Depth there at 9.00 on the chest of an adult, in the afternoon to the waist, in the evening just above the knee. The fish swim there too, so you can see.
If you wish, you can buy in the same Cheburashka for 20-25 bucks a trip on a yacht for the whole day with a stop at the colorful lagoons.
In general, the holiday was a success.
