This time we decided to go to Egypt, as we traveled almost all of Turkey. The choice fell on the Grand Plaza Hotel. In general, I liked the hotel - a large well-groomed green area, friendly staff, a sea rich in flora and fauna, a large number of pools, a clean beach (there were never any problems with sunbeds). Food - in my opinion worse than in Turkey 5 *, but nevertheless not bad. As elsewhere, with meat tension : ), but the chicken was always there. Drinks - for the most part chemistry (such as UPI), came across heavily diluted pineapple juice. Nevertheless, there were no problems with the stomach : ). The children's menu is not very (almost everything is richly flavored with spices). The dietary table is exclusively rice and chicken. Animation - average, I don’t remember anything exceptional, but the guys tried. Of the minuses (I'm picky) - the ever-missing teaspoons, the lack of napkins, the periodic loss of water in the shower (they lived on the 3rd floor). The building was given 5 (without baksheesh) - far from the sea, but they did not change it - losing weight is fashionable : ). Baksheesh 20 bucks and the 3rd building is practically yours. I highly do not recommend building 6 - it's terribly far away, it stinks of sewage (only in this place for some reason). The sea is very rich - the hotel reef is teeming with fish - there is even more of it than we saw on the "submarine". A special "thank you" to Pegasus for a "perfectly" organized vacation - excursions are 1.5 times more expensive than other tour operators, an extremely "polite and responsive" hotel guide Irina (our friends returned money for an unused excursion with the help of the tourist police), as well as a "small" delay in departure from 1730 May 1 to 645 May 2.
If you want to save money - take excursions - across the road from the hotel. The prices are much lower than those of hotel operators, and the service is no worse (for example, I went to the water park in the same bus with the annex tour, only they paid less : ), and even better - when visiting 1001 nights, they allocated a personal guide (for 4 people) , who occupied seats, dragged chairs, looked for waiters, in a word, tried in every possible way to help in our difficult task - to have a good rest : ). In general, the rest was a success, and I believe that if you don’t specifically look for minuses, then you will like it there.
