Just returned from Egypt and the impressions are quite fresh.
1) SETTLEMENT
a) The beginning of the settlement at 14-00. Exceptions are rare and baksheesh won't help you here. If you arrive very early - after 10-00 feel free to ask the manager for bracelets and go to the beach until 14-00.
b) With a bracelet, you can safely take drinks on the beach and have lunch in a restaurant after 13-00.
Recently, the hotel has ceased to indicate the nationality of the guest by the color of the bracelet, which pleased us.
c) At 14-00 at the reception you will be given the keys to the room.
The first digit is the building number (1-6), the second is your floor (1-3)
They try to immediately settle everyone in distant buildings (5 or 6). I do not recommend them at all! Very far (. Building 4 is already the closest and closest to restaurants. Buildings 1-3 are best to take. For a settlement in nearby buildings, you will be asked for dollars (for a start, 200, with bargaining up to 50-100)

We lived in the 4th building, not giving any baksheesh.
Together with the luggage we were escorted to the room around 14-20.... Everything is ok
2) NUMBER
We had a triple room, so it was big.
Refrigerator (empty), central air conditioning, TV (2 Russian channels), safe (free of charge), balcony.
The safe didn't work, the latch of the balcony door didn't work either, there were several stains on the walls from mosquitoes killed by previous guests....
Everything else worked. In short, nothing overly intimidating.
In the room you are entitled to a bottle of mineral water 1.5l free of charge every day
3) TERRITORY
This is the forte of this hotel.
Everything is great: paths, greenery, pools, sheds by the pools, bars, spa. We walked along the embankment and looked into a dozen neighboring FIVES - our territory turned out to be the best.
By the way, I highly recommend evening walks along the embankment after dinner.
4) FOOD
You won't be able to die of hunger. . . there is always a place to eat.
Don't expect a lot of variety - the hotel saves on food.
It is better to come for lunch or dinner in the first hour and a half (later - you will not see half of the dishes) Do not rely on a variety of fruits - if there are - then unripe ones (except for oranges and apples).
AWESOME!! ! be careful about meat products and salads with a lot of ingredients - in these categories it is easy to get an upset stomach (mass "sport" after breakfast, lunch and dinner for beginners)
5) STAFF
Friendly, unhurried and chatty (especially in bars)
Speak Russian - you will be understood
Citizens in uniform walk along the pools and the beach and try to sell massages, excursions, trips for fur coats, etc.
6) ANIMATION
Only AL PACHINO and a couple of other people are trying, the rest (see above) are friendly, unhurried, loose.
If aerobics is scheduled for 15-00, it can start from 14-50 to 15-20, if volleyball starts at 10-30 - it can start at 10-40.11-00.11-20 or not start at all (guess for yourself ).

Evening SHOW - a separate conversation... According to the schedule, it starts at 21-30... do not rush... take a walk and come up to 22-00 or 22-15... you are not interested in sitting in front of an empty dark stage and listening to music
7) BEACH
Shallow water with dead corals. There is a small lagoon (to the waist) Or you can bravely go to the pontoon - and after 300 meters dive deeper. The current is strong there, so it is better to raft downstream to the pontoon of the neighboring RIXOS hotel.
8) CONTINGENT
50-55% - natives of the CIS
20% - Italians
10-15% - Poles
the rest - most often - Europeans
9) HOTEL GUIDE
As always in Egypt, you are only interested in him when you want to buy excursions... the rest is your problem.
See the charter time at the stand of your tour operator after dinner the day before departure.
10) EVICTION
12-00... Be prepared that at 11-30 you will be knocked to pick up your luggage. If you have at least 2 hours before the transfer, you can return it (our luggage traveled from the room to the reception for exactly an hour and a half). It is also better to expect a transfer half an hour earlier... we were picked up 20 minutes earlier.
11) SHOPPING
Small purchases can be made in front of the hotel and not use the hotel shuttle bus to Naama Bay for $5.
If you buy more than $ 100 - it makes sense to go on a shuttle bus (it will come out cheaper in general)
Don't count on shopping at Duty Free before your flight. Everything will be much more expensive than in Sharm, and in your hometown too. . . don't waste your money.
12) OVERALL IMPRESSION
Everything is fine, rested, but next time I will choose another hotel
