The hotel was chosen because of the very low price two days before departure, but it did not work out in the end. We got to the place for lunch, settled in the standard for half an hour. The room is quite tolerable, expected the worst, but everything worked fine. There were mosquitoes, take bite remedies, they will be in any case and something for allergies, and it is better to buy local plates from them, they are in any pharmacy, ours simply do not work on their mosquitoes. There is a transfer to the beach, but not very convenient, plus the bus is filthy, a lot of people, then we just went by taxi, chipped in a dollar with a couple from Belarus, we already made friends here. To take a sunbed on the beach is as lucky, shoes are a must. Alcohol is paid. The sea is of course beautiful, a lot of colorful fish, good corals. The food at the hotel is such that you just fill your stomach, you won’t get any pleasure, there are always queues for everything, sometimes for lunch, apart from rice or pasta with vegetables, I couldn’t find anything edible for myself. But in the city, of course, for an inexpensive price, you can pamper yourself, which we regularly do. In the Old Town, they bought shrimp or squid from stalls on the street, they were cooked for us there and packed in foil. There, not far from the taxi rank, they found a cool cheap place with local fast food, all sorts of cakes with and without meat, french fries and so on. They also tried to buy canned beer there, about 1.5 dollars, on the beach 2. In general, they entertained themselves as best they could, even decided to go to Cairo by bus, didn’t even know that it was possible, I thought that only by plane.
