I chose this hotel after reviewing a lot of photos of tourists, reading reviews and watching videos. Immediately liked the territory of the hotel. Decided quickly and did not regret)
The weather at this time of the year was excellent. Of course it's hot, but due to the fact that the low humidity, the heat was tolerated normally. The first part of the whole time there was a strong wind. The sea is warm about +27
It is worth saying that somewhere after 3 days of staying at the hotel, the month of Ramadan ended and sooo many local residents came. But in general, they are calm and friendly, and this did not affect the quality of the rest.
I want to note that I personally liked the hotel itself and the area. Lots of glass in the lobby, plenty of space and light. Everywhere is clean, everything is well maintained.
The area is large and beautiful, lots of greenery. The beach is clean, the beds are not broken. I know that there are two pontoons, but at that time there was only one (apparently due to the fact that there were few people, as I was told 200-300 people (with a full load of 1000-1200 people))
Security guards are sitting on the territory (in greenery), and a lifeguard is on duty on the pontoon (you can also rent swimming accessories from him) - all this pleases and adds only pluses to the hotel!
My room was just as clean, everything worked, there were no problems at all with anything. Sometimes I gave the cleaner 1 dollar or a chocolate bar / candy brought from Ukraine. Did he make swans, boats, flowers for me every day?
WI-Fi works only in the Piano Bar and its quality depends on the workload (the less people the faster). I just came up and asked to connect me) If you change the password, then you need to ask at the reception.
The staff itself is quite friendly and not intrusive. Of course, if you yourself allow and lead cheekily, then they will “stick”. But with me everyone was nicely welcomed and smiled.
Entertainment in the morning was every day, from 10. During the day there were various darts, yoga and more. But I don't like it, I didn't go. The girls are not intrusive, positive, you can talk, ask something "between us"))
In the evening there were some parties and entertainment events, but I did not attend them.
The food was so-so. But taking into account that I am not a picky person in food, I had enough to eat. But from the fact that I noticed that there was not so much meat. But grilled vegetables, stewed, fried steamed in abundance! I note delicious white cheese (in the form of pasta, I don’t know what it’s called) and delicious morning scrambled eggs.
I also liked the beer. Ice cream is not very good, in our homeland it is much tastier)
It's also nice that Soho is within walking distance. True, once or twice, because then it gets boring. What’s more, the area is small. But bright, beautiful and a lot of people in the center of the fountain. I know that there is a local supermarket (maybe someone will need it). Be prepared to go through a metal detector and show your purse.
I was pleased that the hotel has a pharmacy. For the first time I had minor health problems and it's good that the pharmacy had a place to be. I needed eye drops.
I will note only two unpleasant moments.
1. This is a long settlement. I was at the hotel around 8 in the morning and until 12 I had to wait painfully. Walking, sitting, lying down… It is especially tiring if you haven’t slept for a day before (because the departure is at 4-20 in the morning from Kyiv) and you still have to walk here for 4 hours. But the receptionist did not make concessions. "Wait, I'll call you"
Well at least you can take water in the piano bar and ask for coffee.
2. The second unpleasant incident is that my towel was stolen near the pool. The bag remained lying but the towel disappeared, and conversations with the person who gives out the towels did not lead to anything with the girl who helps resolve issues. Everyone shrugged their shoulders saying “we are not responsible, you yourself must look after your things... ”
As a result, I had to pay, it seems, 6 dollars at the reception when I handed over the number.
In general, I liked everything very much. I have been to Sharm three times and this hotel was the best among the rest.
